I am actually running a RB25 neo turbo at the moment....would the lag be the same or would it be a little laggier?

Are there any dyno printouts of this? I would like to know how laggy the TR43 G2 would be on the 2litre...

Has anybody used a high flowed RB25 turbo on a RB20? What power would that approximately achieve? Taking for granted that all supporting mods have been done of course...

I went to the drags in my 32 for the first time and ran a best time of 13.761. Trap speed was 104 mph. Running an RB20 dynoed at 197kw atw, on 255 adrenalins at the back. Had real problems keeping traction to the ground, so I reckon my time can definately be improved on.

Hold on hold on hold on.... He said the noise disappears when the clutch in engaged, so it is not the thrust bearing. As the thrust bearing is working while the clutch is engaged... And i would have thought you shouldn't be able to hear a brand new thrust bearing?!?

I have seen the one in Kingsley for sale as well. It does look good!! but it has been for sale FOR AGES now!!!!

My car does that too. Because it doesn't do it when the clutch is pushed in, it means it is not the thrust bearing but the gearbox bearings. Wouldn't worry about it until something breaks. My gearbox has made that sound for the last 1.5 years and hasn't gotten better or worse, even after changing the oil. I have been to advanced driver trainings and drags and its still all good. I am still expecting it to break with the extra power being put through the crappy RB20 gearbox, but it keeps on trucking As for the metal shavings, I had those too when i changed the oil. Thats what the magnet on the gearbox sump plug is for

Hey Guys and Girls, Just a quick one.... I am planning to do a RB25 conversion in my 32, and i have had my current (rb20) ecu chipped and tuned etc. I was wondering if that could be used on the rb25? Cause that would be a good grand I would save right there..... I vaguely remember someone mentioning something about R33 SII and higher having different a ignition type in the coil packs?!? would this be an issue? Thanks for your help, I am just playing with the idea and trying to cost something up -Berny

TOTALLY AGREE. Been having ongoing issues with my GTR injectors cause they were old. I had them all cleaned and tested, and have had issues with 2 of them so far. Lucky for me, I have been able to find individual ones, but it has been a pain in the ass troubleshooting and fixing them. I think I have taken the injectors in and out about 6 times now.....at least I have gotten good at it now

Hey Guys and Girls, Chasing a single GTR injector. One of mine shat itself and its leaking out the body. Preferably one from a newer model would be ideal, but to be honest, I would be happy with one that works Cheers, Berny

Yeah I was actually wondering this as well......is there that much gain to be had by using adjustable cams?
