Lol.... Sorry to be off topic but what exactly is SAU's issue with R31's? I know u all say they rn't real skylines but lets be honest here, they are more skyline than the R35 which isn't at all. First of the twin cam RB's came in R31's. Where would the 32, 33 and 34 be without them? Harsh shot assuming all R31 owners are dole bludgers. Bit of ignorance also shown by the later model owners if that's their attitude also. Maybe that's just where their mentality lies? Again sorry to be off topic but just don't get why the R31 is so hated.

Just bought a Z32 AFM this needs to be sold.

Hi guys, Part: RB25DET NEO Air flow meter, pink label, will suit R33 RB25DET S2. Comes with the plug also Condition: Excellent. Pics will show once I can upload again. This was purchased from G4orce on here who could account for price and condition. Location: Western Sydney, pickup/drop off preferred Reason for selling: I bought it a few months ago thinking I had an Air Flow Meter problem, turned out just to be loose connection/s in my current plug so this afm and plug have never been fitted or used since I bought them. If requested I can attach this afm to my car to prove it works. I am also upgrading to a Z32 afm so may aswell sell the good one on to someone who needs a great afm that won't give them any problems. Price: $150 for both afm and plug. I know this is the higher end of the price range but the condition warrants the asking price. The whole reason I am asking was because I have never done it or even attempted it before and I don't want to break them. Precision screw drivers? Is the yellow piece clipped in? Screwed in? Just sitting there? Again just how does the yellow piece come out? Thanks for the info but I'm none the wiser as to disassembling it.

Yeah pics would prob help.... Its a factory RB25DET S2 plug coming off and factory NEO 25DET plug going on. I am led to believe they r one in the same.. Here r 2 pics of the one I want to put on without breaking lol.

Hi guys, I have searched a few times under a few different variations of heading and found nothing. All i need to do is remove my afm plug from the factory wiring and replace it with a newer better one. I was expecting the grey plasic plug to be half moulded and clipped together but it's a solid piece with a yellow insert. Am I right in assuming this Yellow insert is the key and if I remove that then the wiring will be able to come out freely? How do u do it without breaking it? The newer plug is second hand with a bit of wiring hanging out but would rather replace the lot rather than cut wires and solder then tape up. Thanks in advance Liam

Meh.... OIl in there is common I thought. The way the system is... Get urself an oil catch can setup and see its just coming through the breathers at the top, the hose that goes from one cam cover to another... Most likely shouldnt be there but there is oil in mine, always has been lol.

I was wondering if anyone was selling the actual wiring loom just for the air flow meter... I have just bought a newish AFM and would like a new loom and plug with the clip as my clip has broken off and I also suspect dodgy wires in the loom just before it. Does the loom clip onto the rest of the loom anywhere or is just afm straight to the ecu?

I saw a Sierra Cosworth (Import) for sale in an Import dealership and have seen Escort Cosworth's in NSW driving with NSW rego plates... How do these get by if noone can do any compliance?

Old thread but Escort Cosworths are around 10-15,000 pounds to buy in England. Would it not be cheaper to buy one urself from there, ship it here and get it complied that way? I saw a Sierra Cosworth in Melb a few years ago going for 45 grand at Kamikaze Imports I think it was and have seen a couple of different Escort Cosworths in NSW....
