  2. Any1? Gotta upgrade HR31 brakes. Liam
  3. Hi guys, I am in need of some R32 GTS-T front callipers, must be in excellent condition and from a GTS-T! Preferably in Vic and even more so Melbourne so I can at least pick them up. Please pm me if u r selling some as I don't come on this forum too often. Must be GTS-T turbo brakes.. Rotors not needed just the front callipers. Every1 seems to b charging rediculous prices for these so only reply if ur gonna sell for a reasonable price. Thank You Liam
  4. Just wondering who owns a silver 33 with the plates ONBSST, must either have a lead foot and/or an auto coz he doesnt understand that in a manual when u change gears sensibly taking off from lights from 1st to 2nd u actually stop accellerating a little. Knob had the idea to flash me the high beams but not the balls to exchange words or even look me in the eye. Weaksauce. Nice HKS sticker on ur door/font quater. Wheres the rest of ur shopping list? Liam
  5. May be wrong but is it not a trust 'G racer' front bar? I know they have an orange one on the Jetspeed website if u want to compare. Liam
  6. If it has OP6 on the exhaust side and the usual R33 compressor housing it might just be an R34 turbo thats been rebuilt.. If hat has been hi flowed and rebuilt with steel wheels ur laughing. I recently bought a 34 turbo (stock) and it has the same VG30 rear housing from a Z31 3L single turbo V6 and same compressor housing as the R33. Basically the upgrade to an R33 RB25 turbo is it shoudln't run out of puf at the top. If urs is a hi flow u should see some good gains, bit more lag, more top end. Thats what it sounds like to me. A good indication of a hi flow turbo is the rear housing, If there rear wheel is large enough to come close to outlet maximum measurement its deffinately been enlarged. Liam
  7. The more hot air thats radiating from the turbo/s can really only stay in the one place and thats the turbo side of the engine. Sure even with a heat shield it can heat up but the shield deflects the radiating heat away from the intake piping and the 1st part of the cooler piping. This bag would do the same, still let out some heat but it won't be as hot when it get to the cooler piping in that area keeping everything a little cooler so ur really only going to see gains if ur running more boost where cooler air is actually going to gain u hp. If a turbo is spooling easier how can the engine be working harder? Once it's spooled up and working the turbo is doing the work for itself. Liam
  8. Does an HR31 GTS-X count in this as a rare skyline? No where near as rare as the GTS-R I know but still not a very common car in Aus. Liam
  9. Hey guys, Just need an RB25 Airbox. Will pickup and pay cash in Melbourne Vic. Have an RB25 AFM and the HR31 Airbox doesnt match up to it. Dont want to have a Pod filter on there. Thanx Liam
  10. So some of u r suggesting to throw away a good belt that is brand new and freshly put on the engine... Big deal it makes a bit of a noise. Save urselves the embarressment at lights and sell ur R33 .. If any1 asks u have a gates timing belt, most of the bogans next to u in the VN commodores would be impressed by that if u bought ur car to impress other ppl. From the read it sounds like it is very common with the gates belts. I am just getting one installed myself by a workshop who use them on track cars... If they were that shit I don't they would be used for track purposes on pretty modded engines. Liam
  11. When i bought my engine it had 160-150-150-150-150-150.. I tested a heap that were around 100 and then one piston dropped to 80 or as low as 50. Glad i kept the faith! Liam
  12. The main issue with atmospheric BOV's is the AFM... Once air has gone past that it is accounted for by the computer, any difference an atmospheric BOV will cause means there is air accounted for, but not being used. With MAP sensor its a different story as it reads manifold pressures not airflow before the turbo. With the plumb back system the air goes back through the turbo or the afm keeping it all in the circuit of the airflow so the ecu can adjust according to the afm readings. Some cars just handle it better than others, my mates 32 used to be perfectly fine with big turbosmart BOV's but my mates 33 would stall all the time with a Blitz one and then the HKS one. Liam
  13. got the right plugs with the right gap?? I know in the NGK catalogue for a redtop RB20 they reccomend something along the lines of BCPRES-11 or something which r shit for that engine. I actually needed BKR6E... I'd make sure u have the right stuff in there b4 changing anything to drastic. Liam
  14. You would have to drop the oil before taking the oil seals off otherwise it would get very messy. New seals, may aswell put new oil in unless u have changed it in the last week and not driven much. They r a main oil seal, keeps oil in the engine, no seal, no oil. Liam
  15. Straight swap. If u have a silvertop I believe you can use the same oil and water lines, RB25 lines wouldn't hurt. If u have a redtop RB20 then the 25 lines are neccessary. Liam
  16. Pm sent Liam
  17. PM sent , have the cash... and add 80 to the offer i'll take the actuator aswell.... i'll pick up this weekend if ur available for $430 and it'll be gone out of ur hands. Thanx Liam
  18. When i was looking at importing my HR31 a few DR30's came up, 3 of the 4 where race use only lol. The one that did pop up wasn't in the best condition and I needed a car to drive not to restore. If given the chance at owning one I would for sure. There r some horn looking DR30's out there. FJ20's I dont know much about but I read an article saying that the DR30 was just a small car with an overpowered engine. Never been in one. Drool everytime I see one which is alost never lol. If you can be bothered with the hassles of finding parts for it as I would pressume the parts are even harder to get than HR31 parts then go for it. Awesome looking cars. I think the RSX is the more rare of the DR30's... Liam
  19. Is the red circled one not for ur window washers? I have an R31 and the bottle is on the passenger side with a little unit near the power steering reservoir similar to that. Liam
  20. Number plate reads: RBLUV and have white lettering on a black background. This is an EOI only at this stage. I have my eye on some new plates i want. They r a VICTORIAN number plate. If I get a good offer for them I will replace the rear plate for free, I bent it to fit it into the Import Garnish but will provide a new one which is a cost of $80 to me. If anyone is interested with a GENUINE offer please post up in here. If I get no offer then its all good I will just keep them on the car. Good for any RB powered car. These are also advertised on www.R31skylineclub.com Liam
  21. This guy reminds me of the guy who crashes his S13 in Initial D and he pulls that face and says "I want a GTR". Not tooting my own hor here, but i'm on good money, I can't afford to mod my HR31 let alone buy a 34 GTR.... Worst decision u'll make in 7 yrs time when u want a house and u still owe 50 grand. Once u go and spend ur 56 on the GTR thats still in Japan, get ur tyres and rego (if through J-Spec) u have spent maybe we'll say 58. Then are u willing to have an R34 GTR worth $260k and something that u could..... maybe realistically sell for half the price. As its already been mentioned. Its hard enough keeping any sort of modified GTR maintained and thats att he relatively low end of the scale. I have an idea tho.... Start a members projects thread. Liam
  22. Stars on the back = exhaust pipes... Not made to flow frely I see. Massive front bumber bar is the style of the car for Jap Autosalon if its even called that Got ya VIP's ya Drifters, ur Yankees, there was a nice 300ZX on there a while back that was in another category and all pimped outwith gold finishings everywhere. Liam
  23. Best airflow move u can do to a redtop is remove those butterflys.. Do it and u'll get a lot more airflow and better response from ur engine. I have a redtop atm and still has the butterflys in it, havent driven around in a car with them removed but my response with an RB25 turbo charger is satisfactory at best. Liam
  24. Hey r u the same S3 girl from R31 club? Send VIP R31 a pm I think he mentioned one of these to me today. Liam
