  1. I thought if you had the door in lock position and it's half shut. You can just push the door to shut and the lock will automatically pop to unlock?
  2. Yeah they should. I have a HKB boss kit with airbag canceller
  3. Let me know how you go Here's another 2 websites that sells em: http://www.perfectrun.jp/src/detail.php?pid=96001&pname=RAPFIX%20II&maker=WORKS%20BELL&maker_id=96&result_mode=ksch http://www.rhdjapan.com/works-bell-rapfix-ii-quick-release.html
  4. That's the same one that I have too. All black. On the Works Bell, on the hub part that bolts onto the boss kit, on the bottom of it, it has that WB icon, along with a kanji etched to show authenticity
  5. Important to keep your cars LOCKED UP in a garage at night..... Too many cars are getting stolen these days..
  6. Well Golf GTI's are legal for P platers now, not that they are overly quick. But I do see this law being abused and stretched lol
  7. These guys have them for $300 http://www.tunersgroup.com/Online_Store/Works_Bell_Rapfix_II_Steering_Wheel_Quick_Release.html
  8. Haha, yeah was pretty lucky. It was advertised on a Facebook group for $300 and bargained it down to $270 pick up If you are ever in Melbourne, you are more than welcome to come try it in person
  9. Yeah, it was brand new in box because previous owner bought it and didn't use it. I got it for $270, and I can tell you now, the quality of it, is worth every cent. Since I've played with some cheaper quick releases, and the cheaper ones feels really filmsy.... Where as the Works Bell is solid, ZERO play, clicks on, clicks off the same way everytime, very smooth. I think Works Bell has patented the ball locking mechanism and companies like NRG and others just copied it. The way the quick releases are manufactured is different to, don't quite remember from my research but Works is forged and others are casted? But there is a difference in quality. I personally rather pay a tad more for a peace of mind, knowing that my wheel won't be coming off during a corner lol
  10. As for Bride Low Max reclinables, I had a fake Gias in the car before my Recaro. And it was the version 1, where you have to keep spinning the knob on the side to recline, and I personally never reclined my seat for people to get in from my side, because it's such a pain.... But I know the version 2 has a better reclining mechanism, where you just twist and it reclines. Accessing the back just by tilting (without sliding seat forward) will depends on how far back you sit.
  11. I was just about to buy one of those, but I found a Works Bell quick release for relatively cheap (obviously not cheaper than NRG), and the Works Bell is quality, no play and clicks in every time like the first time. I did a bit of research about NRG vs Works Bell and after reading lots of comments/feedback/posts, I personally wouldn't buy the NRG. But I guess comparing NRG to cheaper quick releases, NRG should be a tad better lol
  12. You'll now need to seal up the holes you drilled for the cf wing :| I don't think gt wings looks bad on street cars, but it just depends on the wing itself - cheap ones do look cheap
  13. I've got a single Recaro fixed back in my R34 if it helps. Getting in and out of it takes a bit of effort (and I'm only 171cm) if you don't want to keep scraping your bolsters. I normally support myself by putting my right hand on the door scuff plate and then slide in. As for accessing back seat, you have no chance unless you slide your seat forward, even then, it can be a struggle to reach inside, with two fixed backs, then accessing the back seat almost becomes impossible, whether it's for storing stuff or people sitting there.
  14. Not all, they used to do that when R34 first became available to import, but nowadays, they just seem to leave the xenons, since HIDs are more common now (but it's still illegal for R34). Anyway, just buy a D2R HID kit and mount it up, saves you a lot of time having to play around with reconnecting factory xenon. But I'm not sure if D2R will fit your bulb holder anymore, because they would have needed to modify your bulb holder to fit like a H1 bulb by adding some sort of adapter.
