Garage Clean Out - R34 Parts
Charles89 replied to Charles89's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Bump, feel free to throw me offers, just need to get rid of them. -
I think there are some on eBay for $160-180. They come standard on R34 GTR Vspec 2 or above. And some series 2 R34 have them too.

You sure you bridged it right? If you pull down the consult plug it should be the two ports on the top left.

Oh where was this? Might be coming back from a cruise haha

I've had to pulled off 2 steering wheels and both times, yanking just wouldn't work haha, oh wells..

LOL, the JSAI rear pods (for R34 GTT) WILL fit on a stock OEM GTT rear bar. Just look at my signature...
-
GTR rear pods won't fit GTT rear bar. Just buy em from JSAI for like $200.
-
You'll also need a steering wheel puller, which is like $20 from Supercheap

I think similar thing happen to me, it was the o2 sensor, because I bought an aftermarket o2 sensor without plug, so I had to join the wires up and I just taped it, and problems occurred. But it seems to be fine once I've soldered the wires. So maybe check your o2 sensor?

Hey guys, I've recently bought a climate control from a R34 GTR that comes with the AMB sensor button. Installed the climate control and when I press the AMB button, it reads -30c on IGN, but as I start the car and go drive, it starts to warm up and get to around -25c? I've already tried another ambient sensor from a series 2 R34 (which came with AMB button as stock). But the same thing happened. Even when I went into the climate control's diagnostic mode, the sensor reads -30c, while everything else is fine. Any help would be awesome, thanks!

R34 Gtt Relocate/resize Radiator Overflow Bottle
Charles89 replied to Charles89's topic in General Maintenance
Thanks for the links mate, I ended up buying a 2nd hand Suzuki Swift overflow bottle (which is very small and thin) and retro fitted it between the battery and my radiator -
Silicone would stand out a lot, if you get it plastic welded then sand it back from 800 to 2000 grit, it should be less noticeable. Or simply buy a 2nd hand broken headlight (with good lens) and just swap it over after putting it in the oven at 100 degrees.

Would You Bother With Insurance?
Charles89 replied to Exodus01's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I'm 24 (turning 25 next month), been with Shannons for 2-3 years now, and my car is insured for 28k and I pay roughly 1.5k a year. As Anthony said, call again lol -
Want to buy a R34 ambient sensor, preferably from a R34 that has the AMB button on the climate control (not sure if there's any difference). Willing to pay for postage. Cheers
-
Want to buy some genuine Craft Square mirrors for R34, new or used. Don't mind paying for postage. Cheers

Hey guys, I need to relocate or downsize my radiator overflow bottle as I need that extra bit of space to install an airbox. Has anyone done it or has a way smaller aftermarket overflow bottle/cylinder that they can recommend? Probably looking for something 5-8mm wide and 15mm high? Cheers
