yeh how hard was it to remove the rear end with shit all bent? man that must of been hard seeing it go on the bac of a truck.. is it insured, just curious cos i wasnt aware u were aloud to strip the car if that was the case.
-
OH HELL NO! i was readn about this car up at hyperdrive and i was in awe of how nice it was! such a shame real shame whats next angry 13?

im confused on why your searching for who can do 4 wheel aligning? i mean I used to do wheel alignments and with the electronic method in order to be able to do the front wheels you needed sensors on the rear wheels in turn give you a front and rear end result which will display camber, toe and caster on each corner of the car so by saying that im confused on why it would be hard to find a 4 wheel aligner? unless your looking for reputable ones.

ok, mate found me a halfcut with everything on it for bugger all so were guna swap all the shit over, bend the back guards up and drive it to the beater to get the rear end done on it.
-
yeh, i got a good mate helpn me out with a quote cos he does business with midland smash so there comn back with a price for me.. and im guna look at getn some GTR guards slaped on perhaps as well.. ill see what happens, lets say iv got more respect for rwd cars in teh wet now without a doubt if it was in teh dry im pretty certain i could of pulled it back but wet just yeh wayyy to slipery could of been worse, could of been overtakn at a higher speed like a truck or somthn.. Did you see it happen taynewguy it would of been a awsome thing to watch.. guy behind me who stoped behind me was like woa. btw teejay its not stock. has AFC, larger turbo and the usual associated mods. If i had a GTR i doubt i would be in the situation to begin with praise awd.. didnt get a GTR straight away cos i didnt think that would be wise coming from a 170hpatw fwd car to somthn with double the power and is tail happy. rather work my way up.

ur old bumper got draged under the car, it had some scrapes on it but it wasnt broken, i went to go collect it from side of road but I was not willing to cross 4 lanes on the fwy to get it.. id rather keep my life. plus i got more to worry about than a bumper well at least the bar didnt go to waste Ty the plan was to sell this 32 and levin cos i was guna buy another rolla and buy an 86 trueno and turn it into a 10 second 3sgte.. oh well guna have to wait a bit arnt I
-
yeh im lookn into it atm.. iv had a few encounters of it getn sideways in the wet without meaning too. roundabout ect pretty allways managed to catch it back peice of pie but there was somthn allways planted in my mind that this might happen one day..
-
probably cheaper just to buy a GTS 32 and swap shit over yeh? like pick a GTS for 6-7K i rkn it would cost that in repairs
-
wrote off the 32 last night on kwinana fwy, doing 80 k's, and over took a car in the wet, basically as soon as turbo spooled the rearend threw out as i was turning into the lane and threw me into the barrier at 80, rebounded off it hit the other side accross 4 lanes and then came back again the other way and headed directly off the side of the bridge and so I chucked it sideways and hit the barrier dead on the side and bounced back again and came to a stop back on the other side of the road... pics up tomorrow... got a bit of a sore head from hitn it on the B pillar a few times and im startn to feel some musculer pains.. no insurance, didnt hit any other cars in peak hour traffic and im not dead.. so thats the positives.. negative is im guna have fun deciding what im going to do after i pay the transfer fee with a wrecked skyline. pics up tomorrowheres teh pics man felt like i wanted to cry when i saw the mess I had made. car will be sadly missed probably the nicest car I have ever driven and the time that im not being a fool i get caught out for driving by the rules.. wouldnt of happened if it was in the dry if anyone knows of anyone who has a Skyline GTS R32 they are tryn to sell let me know.. or even if someone is wrecking a body (dont want no accident on it tho)

yeh wen i rebuilt my gze and i got it back from the machine shop, prior to assembly i went and got two rolls of paper towel wax and grease remover and about 5 cans of degreaser, i degreased the block down about 10 times and wiped it down with white paper down each time to the point that if i wiped the block with the white towel i wouldnt get any dirty marks, it would be spotless... took a while but its a satisfactory thing its clean i guess i found also dont forget to give your fly and clutch a nice wipe down as even when i did mine i still found it sliped a bit even after it was run in. tis ok now tho -
timing belt was done about 15 thousand ago, has a stamp on there saying so anyway. looks to correct by the condition of the belt by the time i get a tow truck which will be 130 bucks go to my other house to collect the tools i need to do the job with fuel + the cost of a pump and coolant may as well get them to do it i was just trying to justify spendn that amount LOL so maybe if someone can tell me its a shit job and it takes days il feel better
-
how shit is the waterpump to change. been told 560 bucks inc laybour
-
i got a call to be told the water pump is leaking, i contacted the old owner and he asured me it was replaced 15 thousand kms ago... im going to get them to do a oxygen test on teh coolant to see if its worth replacing or chuck the motor away. strange.. i couldnt see it, spose that wat sucks about it behind behind covers.

one of your pistons is round the wrong way!!! just kidding loooks superb! looking forward to more progress, shes full steam ahead now! -
was sitting stationary this morning and saw steam come out bonnet, i look down at temp gauge to see it almost in the HOT area... so i like mounted the kerb got out and poped the bonnet. it spat out the coolant out the overflow, the overflow was empty but not sure about the radiator level. let it cool down for 5 minutes, started it back up and drove it down road to automasters, they are guna look at it on friday. does this sounds like a thermostat issue? this is the first problem iv had with the car and its so sudden. are the rb20 heads strong, surely those few seconds was not enough to warp the head. it started and idled fine afterwards and it didnt shoot straight up to the heat either, even after 3-4min of running.
-
ah i c.. iv had the car for like 4 weeks and was quite supprised to find those plugs in there
-
abu, why buy .8 plugs when i can just gap the 1.1's to .8 anyway.. seems silly :S
-
ok went with .8 and its fine now
-
Hey guys, got it dyno runed and experienced some popping, my plugs are at 1.1 for 231rwhp at 13psi i have iridium bcpr6eix-11 i was told to reduce the gap to .65 to me that sounds to thin of a gap, would i get a better gain out of .7 or am i better with .8 cheers
