Well, we will see - I just got my car Dyno'd at another place so it will be interesting to compare.

They use a Turbo Dynamics Dyno, and It is set on Shootout mode (same config as Summernats use) Cost = $40- for three power runs. There will be a few Commonwhores, Silvias and skylines there, I believe a couple of SSS's are coming along too. Should be a great day...

(I've already posted this in the NSW section, but thought I might get a better response here) I'm looking at getting my suspension looked at (potentially replaced) because it squeakes badly - There in nothing wrong with the ride (albeit a little stiff) But the noise 5hits me. I've had it all out and apart myself, lubed to up - But the noise came back. Any one recoemend a place in Sydney ?? (I was thinking of Pedders) Cheers, PS - It's Tanabe suspension in an R33

Can anyone recomend a good suspension place in Sydney - Prefer Hills Dustrict or North sides. I'd like to find someone who knows about all the different options for R33s and understands what Jap Imports sometimes come out here with. Reason: My Tanabe suspension keep sqeaking - I've had it all out , in pieces and lubed it all up , but it still squeaks. I think it may be the shocks. Any one got instructions or manual for a Starbo Turbo Timer ?? Or know where I can get ?? I've seached the Web - Nothing. Its got Timer, Clock, RPM, some sort of auto start (WTF??) and a few other functions - I got no idea how to drive the thing !!

I sorta fixed my alternator noice by running the RCAs to the main amp first, instead of the sub amp first. Some questions - Does the noise come thru all speakers ?? Or just the fronts or just the rears ?? What the setup ?? You may need to upgrade your RCA cables to top quality ones - Mega shielded - the shielded twisted pair type - They cost about 100 bucks I think. Make sure all power cables are as far away from the speaker and RCA cables as possible. Make sure you run all cables straight down the length of the car or at 90 degrees to the length of the car - ie no funny angles - all cabling to be 180 deg or 90 deg to each other. Turn the gain down on you amp Investigate getting a new battery/alternator - maybe they are on the way out ?? Get them checked out. You can get noise supressor for the RCAs but this also eliminates some high freq sound. That's all I can think of dood ! Good luck !!

I know - I had to make custom spacers for the fronts and the rears as I put 6" in - Oh well, it works good now !!

Ok, call me ignorant - But I don't get it !!! Why does the drift style look mean different wheels on the front and rear ??? I don't reckon that looks good at all !! Seems to me that the reason that the wheels are different on the rear is because when drifting, you chew up heaps of rubber, so you take you good rears off. But why maintain that look ???? Why not put the normal wheels back on after drifting ?? Am I dense or something ?? I don't get it !!

Fixed the alternator noise by moving the Rear RCAs from the sub amp first to the main amp first - Used spliters to attach main amp to sub amp. (my HU didn't have a sub out rca - bummer, just front & rear) Everything is PUMPIN now !! Cheers,
