  5. I know I will have to get the clutch done, but I ran outa moolah - so I'll go easy for a month or two, then get the clutch done. Any recomendations on clutch combinations ??
  6. You need to take your car to an RTA authorised unregistered car inspection station (Check RTA for nearest one) - There's one in Fairfield. Then you need to take the Blue Slip (the inspection station will give this to you) to the RTA with all the other Import Doco. The RTA probablly won't register the car 100% as you will most likely need an RTA identification inspection (checks for rebirthing). Ask for an interim rego sticker & plates. THen you'll most likely need to take the car to the RTA for the identification inspection. Take all paperwork. You will need to get an RTA office to book an appointment (2-3 weeks wait) They will then give you a security sealed envelope (pass/fail) - Take this to an RTA office along with ALL your paperwork. Hopefully if everything is OK they will issue you with your full rego . Hope this helps. Cheers
  7. I knew I worded that badly !! It's just a 12" Sub box, with kicker Sub - secured in the middle, facing backwards.
  8. Change of plan ppl - I just bought a full set of Tein height and damper adjustable coil over shocks and springs - Will fit them myself.
  9. Dood, I should have shown you mine on Sunday - It's nothing too special, but it pumps big ass !
  10. I'm having trouble finding wheel lock nuts to suit/fit my wheels. Because the nuts are deeply set into the wheels , you can't get a security key in the hole to enable you to tighten the security nut. Infact, a normal wheelbrace will not fit either, I have to use a deep set socket on a quarter inch driver (similar to a spark plug remover but stronger) Anyone know of some security wheel nuts that will work ?? Thanks
  11. Due to lack of time and frustration (cause the suspension is giving me the 5hits) - I decided to take it up to Hills MS - (just round the corner from where I work) - Mark recomended Koni adjustables - So I am just waiting on a price (and time) from him..... Cheers all -
  12. Nice One - I'm sorry I missed it !!!!
  13. I know where you are coming from - however, the shop I am taking it to knows EMS back to front and inside out - And I am not going to f*&k with it, so I'm going with the flow in this case. Plus, the new EMS range are pretty good I hear. Oh, and I enjoy supporting Australian Businesses.
  14. This guy was selling mandrel bends for IC piping at the Dyno Day today. I had a look at his warez and it was all good - Dunno if it was ali or not. Give these guys a call: Bendfab Engineering - Vince Tropiano - 9728 4485 (Villawood)
  15. He he - that's funny 5hit
  16. GOOD CALL !! You should have run Merli !! It would have been an unfair contest !!
  17. Hmmm, good point re: metal head gasket.! Re Boost:I think we talked about 10-12 maybe upto 14 to keep the reliability there. I'll do what Megs suggested and get the expected/target figures up front, before the work comences.
  18. Don't know that answers to these - but will let you know when it's all done.
  19. Well it was a good day. I was just going to stay for my run, but there were so many nice cars there, I stayed for the whole day. Highlights: Best overall - WIERDO 225rwkw (Big Block 454 Statesman) Best SR20DET was QIK180 - 180rwkw (180SX) Best RB25DET was 2RISMO - 190rwkw (R33) My best run 150rwkw - which I was happy with for stock turbo & boost, cat back and pod. Good to see a few of the other SAU folks there too : Merli, Ph1 & Kebab !! Next Dyno day - I'll do much better !!
  20. Dunno, that's just what I've been told - Does it sound right to you Megs ?? I'll let you know the details when its done.
  21. Hi ppl, After my research, I've decided to go the whole hog all at once. Reason: Seems to me that if certain mods are staged, this affects the next mod, then the next mod, etc - also could affect performance, reliability etc. For Example: If you just do boost (too high), then you risk reliability so you should do FMIC at the same time. If you do turbo but not injectors, you risk leaning out. If you want a new plenum, you have to think of design considerations for the FMIC. Of course ECU is a gimme cause you once you do boost & FMIC, you need to control iginition and fuel better. Then you need a new fuel system to keep the juice flowing. I've been told to expect maybe 450 HP ?? Any comments on this ?? Anyway, should be a weapon when it's done. I'll tell you when It's finished - It'll be about a month . Cheers,
  22. Whoops - late notice I know, but I got a better offer ;-) (no offence) Next Time....................
  23. Don't know !! I have SAFC and I'm hoping they can tune this !!
  24. Mmmmmmm double whopper for breaky again - I'll see yas at BK TH.
  25. Carlo, Depends where we are going & what time. - if it's Blacktown & 7:30, I'll go straight there cause I work close. If it's Bass Hill & later, then yeah - I'll meet up with yas. Someone (Onarun, your call mate) make a decision - I dont' care which now !!
