Folks, I have a Silver R33 S1 GTS-t - Its got an M-Spec (i think) kit on it (Higher than stock rear spoiler, Meshed front bar, Side skirts) Also have some 17' wheels - they are nice, but nothing too fancy. It's already had the suspension lowered. I'm looking to make the car look a little more Unique so I've been tossing up ideas - Wanting to know what you guys though would do the job (without spending zillions of dollars on it) - Oh and not too ricey OK. What should I do ?? * New Front Bar ?? (may not go with skirts & rear wing tho) * Swap wheels ?? (18's or 19"s - too many concerns here - getting them nicked, scratched, and not the best for riding around town on considering my rock hard TEIN) * Wild rear wing ?? (Would that look nice on Silver ?? Looks good on White, Black and Yellow) * Eyelids ?? * Thought about C/F bonnet, but not good on Silver * Full re-spray in wild colour (too expensive) * Turn into a convertible (joke) * Air Brush naked women on bonnet (another joke) * Trade in on Silvia/180 (bad joke) Anyone got any ideas ?? I'm Farked in the creative/styling depatment. Thanks

No offenese to any Nissan or Sub owners here: (My 2c OK - since the question was asked) Skylines are for the more mature performance enthusiasts who seeks style, luxury & performance of a proven Bathurst winning design. (albeit a 32 GTR winning Bathurst and that is not on your list) 180s and Silvias are for the youger generation who enjoy performance and drifting without spending a lot of bucks. WRXs are for the hoon with a family. PS - I'm not biased.....

Neil - If / when you get the Nismo speedo - I'd be interested to know - where, when, how, etc - That'll be one of the next things for me (for the track of course) - However, I do want to see what happens when you go past you know what !

I remember my Uni days .... well most of them anyway. I was mostly at the Uni bar !! Good luck with the homework dood ! Wish I could help, but I've forgotten all that stuff - I only know about Crank Angle Sensors, TEIN Coil overs, Hybrid Turbos, Wastgates, Blow Off valves, etc (all the stuff they never taught at Unis - Damn)

I'd get your suspension looked at ASAP. Noises coming from under there can turn into very bad ! In regards to your suspension - All the questions you are are easily answered by "it depends". Do you know what sort of suspension you have on now ?? Many Jap Imports come with some type of after market suspension. This makes harder to replace / fix. Mine came with Tanabe the rear shocks squeaked - and the ride was very harsh - I was lucky enough to pick up some second hand TEIN coil-evers for 1200 - I fitted them myself (very easy). Full whiteline kit $2000-3000 depending on options (I've heard that the product is good but the service is average) Kings spings only 400-600 per set. Hope that helps..

I was at the servo the other day (I had a car full of people too) , when this young bloke gets out a Commonwhore, gives my car a look, then gives me the two thumbs up "that's tops" Chief style. So I gave him a back. (His other car must have been a Skyline) It's good when people you don't know give you a sign of appreciate of your car ! Makes you feel good.

Do you have to do anything special to your car ??
