THE EVO IS NOT PRACTICAL FOR EVERYDAY! lag isnt an issue because like most of u have said, dont need to "race" the thing everywhere.. but like i asked b4.. how many of u have actually driven an evo??? i have... driven a 6,6.5,7,8 and a 9 They are the worst cars ive ever driven without boost... they have a lack of response.. no torque whatsoever.. if u havent got 3k on the dial, ull get eaten alive by cyclist. its not a fun car to drive slow. its absolutely terrible a GTR has a heavier clutch but thats about it.. it has better brakes (evo brakes arent so great.. trust me) alot more torque.. when im cruisin around in my gtr, i dont ever get on the boost because theres heaps of torque downlow anyway.. while drivin my mates evos around, i found myself sittin @ 3k all the time just so the turbo gives me that lil bit more torque so i can keep up with traffic. Sure the evo handles like its on rails and all, but its a daily driver.. who cares how it handles.. why u think commonwhores and falcons r the most driven cars??? cheap??? @ 40k i think not... its because they make mountains of torque from the word go.. its not about how fast it is.. its about how easily it accelerates around town and the evo is by far the worst.

BP ultimate in my GTR, although i run boost 98 in my civic.. and it sure feels real peaky lol and gets more km per tank, so i might try run that in the GTR and see what i get on dyno to see if theres any difference -
i thought the nismo was the N1.. lol

yer i seen that vid... coulda done better myself evos are great cars... my mate has one.. doesnt come near mine thou.. and mine isnt highly modified or anything like that.. Turn the electric bullshit off and we'll see who has the better track car Im with u, I hope the next GTR is everything we hope it to be and more

im sure they would too but if ur gonna go into that then u might as well compare best with best.. and gtr holds all records gtrs sold b4 they hit the floors here. and yes i meant the gtr beat everything it was put up against within its price range and type of car... it owned the 911 from back then, and almost all the ferraris cept i think the F40?? (that is a weapon in its own right...) power is nothing.. the reason by grp a racin all over the world was banned was because the gtr beat everything on the track. including ur beloved AMG cars and anything porsche or ferrari built. The R32 was a race car which made its way to the road. Future gtrs have proven to be much less than expected, but the R34 sorta revived its name and nissan is hoping to make a new name for itself with the new gtr. As for my car.. weapon??? not really.. just has more then enough power and traction to hold its own against almost anything that it crosses. Dont forget the r32's origins.. race car with plates.. btw i do like the 911 turbo.. awesome car to drive, with immense torque and power.. but its not wild and doesnt give me the thrill of an untamed r32 gtr

forgot to add that when the r32 was realised it, it had a rather large price tag... over 150k... and they were sold out, before they hit the showroom floors

i meant carerra gt and enzos.. u do realise the enzo is a 11sec car yes??? not very impressive for a 500k car at all really... and as for a "basic" gtr not being on par with its equivilents.. im sure a 12sec car from factory is on par with what was available from back then. As for dream cars.. certainly not a gtr.. but not eurotrash either.. id rather have a 69' mustang that doesnt handle, doesnt brake, and doesnt have anymore poke than my modded civic, but damn they have the looks and that sweet sweet sound

actually ur wrong.. its not tell if its blocked or collapsed When a car runs lean, exhaust temperatures skyrocket. Fuel has a cooling effect and with less fuel and more oxygen.. u burn it all causing it to run very very fkn hot.. the cat light is there so when its runnin lean, u know.. the cat gets too hot and starts to die but id be alot more worried about whats going on inside the engine I see this pretty often.. They melt pistons. not a pretty sight (im an engine builder) if the light comes on.. turn ur car off asap. let it cool down to make sure its all ok.. if the light stays on after say 15-30mins... chances are the sensor shit itself. but its not a gamble that i would take. no chance -

hows that a dumb thing to say??? in the past gtrs, they have owned everything thrown @ them... what makes u think it will be so different this time?? as far as anyone knows.. u dont even know what engine it will be carrying. u have no idea what the power will be or the torque... those figures u see r just estimates from everyone else but nissan. Nissan have kept a closed lid on this car and all these figures r just rumours... u never know... the car might actually make 600hp when it comes out u dont know, i dont know.. so dont say ppls opinions based on past cars r dumb. plus.. ill own any offering from amg with my current gtr kthxbai

About To Start Engine After Rebuild Help!

i build engines. Use a straight oil say 30 weight or 40weight.. thinnish.. make sure it has no friction modifiers so the rings and bearings bed in properly without glazing the bores. Dont let it idle for long (5mins+) Dont baby the motor (u will only make it a baby for life, less power than others of same engine and so forth) Dont load it too much Dont over rev the engine. Hitting the limiter or even going near the redline can have severe consequences. Dont load the engine down low, less than say 3000rpm up a hill.. Dont Boost engine above standard.. so running 15psi instead of 7psi... Do drive the car under varying loads. Do drive it reasonably hard sometimes (that doesnt mean WOT and redlines. just like around 75-80% throttle and around 5k-6k rpm Best thing to do would be to have the car on a dyno and load it to around 150hp-200hp with varyin revs for around 2 hrs and thats all -
The GTR has always and will always own anything the euros throw @ us it will be no different with the new GTR i eat porches and ferraris for brekky, lunch and dinner

ROFL thats fkn classic haha does a shark shit in the ocean hahahahah love it! ive got an 93' GTR R32.. and ive owned a 211rwkw 180sx, 300rwkw+ track rx7, couple modded commonwhores ive also driven and thrashed an Evo7, Evo8, S15 200sx, R34 GTT, S7 Rx7, Hsv's all the models including the VE ones... and the GTR might not be the quickest thing ive driven, but its certainly the best thing ive ever driven with the potential to be soooo much more than what it is. probably only makes around 180awkw.. but it was enough to dispatch a mates "230rwkw" 200sx Its called King of the Road for a reason And dont u forget it -
