and in rseponse to that.. im going to organise a black spurs and reefton spurs cruise with a few of my mates (evo 8's and sti's) and i was thinkin of gettin the GTR boys from here to come along as well.. if ur upto it of course might even go lake mountain for a bbq

exactly.. shouldve bought a civic... its ppl like u (not directly u) who go and purchase hipo cars without even knowing how to drive (any monkey can steer a car, thats what driving is about) and then go and get urself killed and other ppl giving the rest of us a bad name u should sell it, and buy a civic champ b4 u do anyone any harm

im runnin 14psi with 1.1gap on my platnum plugs.. no problems here.. i had a misfiring once.. but it wasnt the coils.. was the stupid igniter module. OEM coils r fkn awesome but cost more.. and im sure theres a reason they cost more cant compare 14yo coils to brand new splitfires and JJR's... i reckon the OEM coils out do those other brands anyway.. its what they raced with years ago (brand new coils thou) and didnt have problems.. but i guess when u have 14yo coils and u need new ones, and the OEM's r just too far priced.. best alternative would be splits or JJR's...

i havent gapped my plugs to .8... stock coils.. lots of boost and no spark problems

i dunno bout an onslaught.. america is the land of the most powerful street supras... i think the gtr will have a lil trouble holdin its ground when theres an army of 1000hp+ supras lol

this is just a random thing.. but i saw someone postin, that if 1 turbo dies.. it halves the boost??? just thought id let u know and everyone else that doesnt know, that twin turbos dont work like that.. 1 doesnt make 3.5psi and the other one another 3.5psi.. otherwise ud be able to run more than 14psi on a ceramic turbo.. they both make the same boost.. but because theres 2 turbos, the actual flow is twice as much.. so if one T28 makes 400cfm @ 7psi.. then two will make approximately 800cfm @ 7spi.. as for ur no boost... its not gonna be turbos.. i still think its ur bovs.. theyre sizeable enough to leak all ur boost, without stallin ur car (they are a valve after all..) what might be happening is a vacuum line going to ur bov's might have been severed.. They need pressure in the line to stay closed and then the pressure in the intercooler piping plus the vacuum in the vac lines (going to bov) opens them up during no throttle.. maybe theres no pressure in the "vac" line to keep it closed..

ive got one on my GTR R32.. its a standard GTR item and they duct to the brakes. all pretty standard stuff

i told u it wasnt the cat. ive heard the BOVs have a hole on the bottoms of them.. ur meant to put a screw or something inside?? .. theres 2 of them so obviously 2 screws to block the holes.. where abouts r u located? if ur in melb i could come up n have a peek

it wont be the cat. blown would make it feel like he just said, but theres 1 thing missing.. the black smoke. that means its runnin rich.. if the turbo was blown the afm wouldnt be reading more intake air and therefore adding more fuel... it'd read whatever was comin in. if the turbo wasnt makin boost, it wont put more fuel in. I think u have a boost leak somewhere.. ive heard a few ppl sayin the bov's tend to leak boost on GTRs. im not sure how they work as i havent had a chance to look @ mine, but that might be a good place to start. Cats dont cause no boost, and if theyre "clogged" ud know about it.. the engine would sound like its tryin to blow massive amounts of air through a red rooster straw.. ud know about it hahah. check the bovs out.
