  2. he may have been on better tyres.. but they were still street tyres. You cant beat an rx7 on street tyres and the 7 does indeed handle better. Its just chassis design more than anything else. Dude, im a regular track person and as much as i hate to say this coz its kinda embarrasing on my behalf as well as most other people, but a supra doesnt even own my shitty lil civic on a technical track like winton.. its smallish, has lots of tight corners. Last time i went there were 2 supras, a black one with major mods, big turbo (T67 trust) and suspension work and wheels and everything else.. the usual stuff.. and a silver one with minor mods.. exhaust pods thats probably about it. Neither kept up around the bends... I only had suspenion mods, a cam and had my twin carbies rejetted, brakes and a set of wheels. I owned both of them. and ur tellin me a stock supra will beat a gtr around a track?? f**k off

  9. lol @ 180sx guy .... u see the R34 being smooth to drive??? compared to ur 180sx and the GTR coz its the same age? I had a 180sx.. its a piece of shit compared to the GTR. it drives nothing alike. Dont get me wrong.. i loved my 180sx to bits, but it doesnt have anything on the GTR in any aspect. As for the GT-T, great car, great engine, great chassis, looks great, goes good enough for every day, is lower km's on motor, has less km's on chassis, has newer interior, But its not a GTR. Its just a GT-T. If u wanna scare urself stupid when u thrash a car.. GTR is the way, if u want a more refine but ultimately much slower car, then the GT-T is the go... Just be aware that both cars run ceramic turbos. and although ppl love sayin gtr turbos r older blah blah blah, what makes u think the GT-T has had an easier life than the GTR??? what makes u think that a GTR is still running the same turbo it had when it left the factory???

  11. lol @ supra... and more lol @ "great races" have u noticed that all those "great" races are just straightline drags??? as for the video with the supra beating everything?? the supra is a nice car.. no doubt, ive driven heaps.. but i own a GTR and a supra doesnt handle anywhere near as good as a GTR.. did anyone else notice the supra beat the porsche?? There arent many cars that can outhandle a porsche.. and the supra is not one of those... what also caught my attention was it also out handled an RX7?? Thats only the best handling car to come outta japan.. hahahah nice video but get real. thats like a commodore gen 3 beating a Ferrari enzo..
  12. umm no. 1Bar is 14.7psi.. so 1.2 Bar is probably closer to 18psi.. u need to do research before u change anything or boost anything. read up about what most ppl put on theyre rb20's, and what is a direct bolt on so u dont have to change anything else. and trust dont make anything with a T3 footprint.. they use theyre own size last time i checked

You just know that this car has been meticulously engineered down to the last tiny grommet. To put it another way, it's making the R8 look very secondhand indeed. I can see in my mirrors that Germany is struggling to keep up with Japan" If that isnt jeremy punchin audi in the guts, i dont know what is. It wont make top 10, but it should do better than a GT3 considering it has on a larger track.. but only time will tell
  15. they obviously have no idea how to build a rotary... I got selectmaz to build mine and i had no problems with it.. and they have theyre own race car that lasts the entire racing season + more... Ontop of that a rotary engine is more reliable than a piston motor on the track anyway! especially when it comes to drag racing.. every time a funny car heads out to the strip it needs a rebuild.. the rotor can go on for about 2-3 seasons of drag racing b4 it needs a "freshen up" But we're talkin street cars and while u can build a very reliable rotary, it'll end up costin more in the long run anyway

  17. No. if u could "tune" ur ecu, then y would u bother fking around with those shitty resistors? U want proper results, either remapped ur own ecu or get something like a PFC
  18. thats 4 turbos.. so u want max power with good response??? last time i seen a T517Z dyno was a few weeks ago.. 350awkw @ 1.5BAR... with.. and i hate to say this, better response than the HKS 2530 Im a big HKS fan.. and i dont really like Trust much.. but.. theyre small bolt ons seem to eclipse the hks variety every time

  21. Im with Gary. i said it b4 and ill say it again.. GTR= Race car with plates Supra = fast street car. U cant compare them to each other. there is no comparison.. ppl say its always been gtr vs supra.. no it hasnt. its always been GTR vs Porsche.. supra owners just say that its gtr vs supra to make themselves feel better.. but really.. the supras real contenders are the Rx7 and NSX.... id love to add the gtst but truth of the matter is.. supra is better than a gtst in almost everyway it needs to be. Leave the GTR outta it or u might as well add the porsche or ferrari or even lambo.. thats the league the gtr was in back then and is again today.

  23. im currently building an RB26 race spec motor. Its my daily driver but will also be my circuit car. Im currently leaning towards a GT35R in the .86 rear trim for the best compromise between response and power. I ran a GT35R with a 1.06AR on my rx7 race car and the response was phenomenal and the power was substantial.. (400hp @ 16psi) not to mention the torque. Being a smaller motor i think the .86 or .82 whatever the option was might be the better pick. 300rwkw is easily achievable with this turbo without having to run too much boost
  24. if my shitty rx7 race car can reel off a mid 10 with semi's and 400hp...then a 500hp 4wd race launchin @ 9000rpm can do the same. twice as much traction with more power and lot more torque.. no problems and that 10.04 wasnt the nismo time... it was the time recorded by an aussie block who owns a Z tune Nismo reeled off an offical 10.4sec 1/4.. forgot to add that haha
  25. u cant compare the GTR with a supra.. 2 different cars with different purposes. The GTR is a racing car with number plates. the supra is not. I love the supra. its one of my fave cars for the street, but ive also raced them and they are not a racing car. theyre just a really really fast street car as for R34 turbos being better... ha! what a joke.. id like to see R34 turbos making 280kws everyday all day long consistantly or even at all.. The 2jz is a smooth motor design to go fast on the street with minimal lag. the GTR was not. it was designed to kick u in the nuts. A to B as fast as possible. supra is more like A to B as fast and comfortably as possible. thats not to say the GTR isnt comfy.. but the Supra is more comfy. The supras only real enemy is the rx7 S8. both have sequential turbos, both have massive potential but the 7 handles better and brakes better, while the supras massive torque gives it better top end power once the wheelspin stops. a GTS-T doesnt have anything on an Rx7 and will never have anything on a Supra.
