  2. really?? so whats the theoretical hp limit on a gtr pump?? as far as a dyno figure goes.. im on 287.8awkw @ 15.2psi.. but i run 17psi now instead... so i should be seeing either just under 300 or just over 300... and the afr was pretty good

  4. it shouldnt do that.. its EFI hahah a carby would do that coz the chokes still gonna be on, but an EFI system eliminates those problems
  5. its the bearings hahaha, get a new turbo asap b4 it costs u a motor just replace it.. if u do repair it, make sure u get a steel wheel that way u can a lil more boost without having to worry aobut the wheel breakin off and gettin the smaller particales sucked back into the motor
  6. fuel press guages r easy to come by what r u talkin about hahah, local tool shop dude. but it doesnt sound like fuel.. sounds more like a vac leak with the hunting...
  7. the gtrs uve seen are obviously not healthy examples.. ive never seen a GTR make less than 180 @ ALL 4s.... mine made 187awkw.... at the start... and they do hold theyre value.. ive also never seen a clean good condition gtr sell for less than 20k were a Gts-t does. my mate just bought himself a 97 model for 10k. stock of course..
  8. u must be kidding.. 14-150awkw? try 170-180 dude... to tell u the truth ive never seen a healthy GTR make less than 180awkw in stock form... ever. They dont make 206kw from factory. try 220+. I owned an RX7 race car.. a 211kw 180sx drifter car (im 26yo and yes i know im gettin old as the days go by) and driven many evos 6-9 and plenty of hardcore gtst's... i can say from experience, the gtst has nothing on a gtr. it never has and never will... doesnt matter how much u spend on it.. its never going to be a GTR.. plus a gtr holds its value a million times better. Lose the Gts-t and buy a GTR forgot to add.. 190kw ex s14 driver and u were disappointed?? LOL i had an s14 owner race me once.. "230rwkw" it never stood a chance
  9. failin fuel pump would cause it to not run very well.. that means adding more revs and boost = less chance the engine will run. a leaking regulator introduces fuel into ur inlet via the vac lines. doesnt sound like its fuel related but im not there to physically inspect it
  10. its not the wheel.. if it was, ur engine wouldnt run. its just the bearings and u should count ur lucky stars its not the turbine.. ud be up for a rebuild if it was
  11. his got a point with pressure thou. because it might flow enough fuel for 600hp.. but @ 70psi. most regs run 40-50 hence not enough fuel flow Btw.. why would u change ur fuel pump a GTR anyway? they flow like 276lts of fuel @ stock pressures anyways! i got 289awkw @ 15psi and i was runnin 17.5psi b4 the rebuild... thats over 300awkws and never had a fuel problem.
  12. T2 is the same as T25 or T28 flanges.. Its really a T2 flange fits all T2x series turbos
  13. u gotta remove the crossmember and support the motor frmo the top.. very heavy stuff btw u should just pull the motor out
  14. lol @ death whine ive heard that nasty noise b4 as for blowing white smoke.. that only happens when the seals let go.. my turbo wheel fell apart and there was no white smoke the bearings r probably gone, hence the whining noise. it will still build boost, thou it will sound horrible and u could lose ur motor if the wheels let go like mine did

  17. it wont cover any parts of the motor because the motor is under wear and tear.. just like a clutch or brakes.

  19. theyre are many ppl who have rebuilt rb26's..... @ my last work place.. we did 2 stock builds. as for mine, im doing a forged rebuild because im chasing alot more power then what the stockies can handle Its expensive no matter what kind of build ur after.. and the 4k+ estimate is a pretty good estimate The last R33 rebuild i did ended up costing 5.2k
  20. Pull the fuse banana... and it'll be a RWD ive done it and i cant say i liked it.. it went nowhere in 1st,2nd and a bit in 3rd... owned by my mates evo.. so now i run 4wd all the time.. screw rwd lol
  21. i use redline.. and while they use awesome additives.. they dont use teflon. nothing comes close to teflons friction removing properties hahahah nothing at all.
