  1. ive still got my stock afms... made 287.8kw @ all 4's... that was on 15psi.. after that i ran tad over 17psi which is slightly over 300kw @ all 4's and afrs were still good... they look like stock afms anyways.. as were injectors and fuel pump lol.. the stock GTR gear is pretty serious stuff really
  2. it dampens pulsing in the fuel lines caused by injectors opening and closing, allowing fuel to return back to tank as peacefully as possible. thats the theory anyway

  4. sounds like lil rich.. and if it is a lil rich then it is possible that he is a good tuner.. its always better to run a car a lil richer. helps stop detonation it really doesnt sound like its oil to me

  6. u could try a fan.. but ur going to get more air flow from movin than a fan could ever supply
  7. greyish smoke is rich. slightly rich.. not massively rich but rich non the less... stem seals can blow white or blue smoke, and only on idle or off the line. if it was ur rings, it would be blue. over filling doesnt do anything aslong as its not seriously been overfilled.. most GTR track cars are overfilled because of the high g's during cornering and shitty baffle design. id get my afr's chekced first. dont its not something u should be worried about a lil rich isnt a bad thing..
  8. If u really must go aftermarket.. then go for something direct fit like tomei or nismo.. anything bosch isnt a direct fit and u gotta modify the cradle somehow. even if its an easy mod, its still a mod that u dont have to do with direct fitment pumps

  14. tune isnt gonna bring the turbo on song any quicker... exhaust flow governs how quickly ur turbo comes onto boost.. first thing u should look @ is exhaust flow properties. check ur cat, make sure nothings block and ur exhaust is as free flowing as possible.. check wastegate operation as thats what controls the speed of the turbine. if its opening a lil too early and slow enough, it will make ur turbo laggier than it should be. spring tension is something to check for on the gate. 2ndly cams with more duration and lift will bring the turbo onto song quicker, but ull need supporting mods. If its an aftermarket manifold, wrap it up. heat = energy. the more heat u can keep inside the exhaust the more energy will be exerted to the turbine wheel at a higher velocity hence reduce lag. check ur intake for restriction.. try blowing through a kfc straw or sucking.. not very good for flow compared to something bigger like a maccas straw. a tune will only make what u have a lil more drivable.. but it wont bring ur turbo on full song any quicker. START WITH THE WASTEGATE SPRING TENSION FIRST

  16. u know what... im yet to see a game that actually captures the hondas vtec cross over.. i havent come across a single sim/racing game that has the vtec cross over point at all... it'd be nice if they maybe did this time.. just maybe

  18. hahah u driven the mines r34?? it feels fast here with the incabin view doin near on 300km/h and on some circuits.. over lol the R35 doesnt feel fast.. but then again, the reviews all point there anyway.. it doesnt feel fast, but it most certainly is. plus the f430 is a much lower car.. 80km/h in a go kart feels incredibly fast.. where as 120km/h on a vline bus feels really slow.. the gtr sits much higher than the ferrari so it will always feel slower.

  21. sounds more like the ignition module is doing bad things.. and get a cover for the bloody bonnet.. my rx7 had a vent cover.. im sure a Z tune would as well?
