Well i came from a Series 5 rx7.. and although it was a purpose built race car, it was an awesome machine to drive and when i drove it on the streets everynow and then, did it turn fkn heads lol i ended up selling it and buyin a GTR and although it was makin 300awkw, im yet to drive something that was as brutal and fast as a GT35R powered bridgeported 13b hahah IT WAS A FKN ANIMAL!!!!!!!!! rotaries can haul some serious ass and for most of those non believers, they do make great torque (READ: when turbocharged properly)

lol my bad.. but im sure the supra is still faster... i coulda sworen the fastest supra in the world ran 8's without slicks... can someone confirm?

that is 100% correct, hence me sayin, u DONT see 6sec gtrs (meaning u see 6 sec supras) BUT u dont see any supras owning the track because they dont.. they gtr owns the track as for nuetral handling.. i dont think so. maybe when theyre prepped, but in stock form, theyre not very nuetral they understeer easily and they oversteer even easier

500hp on stock internals of a rb26??? what drugs are u on buddy lol sure the supra does hold more power on stock internals.. but 500hp for an rb26? u could make 500hp @ wheels on a stock rb20

how can the supra be in the gtrs shadow??? it was made to destroy the american muscle cars and it does that very veyr well.. in most cases, its faster, brakes better and handles better. doesnt always look better but its still an eye catcher everyone knows the supra for its out right speed potential.. gtr is known for its out right track dominance. they are both brutal machines, but in theyre respective fields. u dont see any 6sec gtrs.. but then u dont see any track ownin supras.. each are different. no1s in anyones shadow i hope the lf-a owns all those mercs and bmw's and astons and what not.. i hope they own the luxo barge league

thats right. its never been gtr vs supra. nissan didnt make the gtr to take on the supra. it was made to defeat porsche. toyota didnt make the supra to beat the gtr.. it was to thrash the american muscle cars. supra owners then took it upon themselves to challange the gtr and vise versa but that was never what the manufactures intended. they were both after different markets. never against each other

ive always lol'd @ supra vs gtr arguments.. coz there isnt one.. its never been gtr vs supra.. its always been gtr vs porsche and supra thought it could take a hit @ the gtr.. but the gtr was only ever made to win races and kick porsche to the curb. as for lambo killin supras.. that would be awesome.. but the gtr already does that lol id love to see a merc killin lexus thou.. luxo barge vs luxo barge

that was well said.. although i do agree on the interior.. my interior eats ass even thou its a GTR... R33 = much better inside and another point.. 32line.. u want a special r32?? stop makin it look like something it aint.. its not a GTR. lose the wing, lose the front bar and skirts want it special?? get something no1 has.

i agree with duncan.. ive had all my bushes replaced when i got the car and although it does have apexi N1 suspension, it handles really really well, well enough to leave my mates 06 STI and my mates evo 8 behind down the black spurs.. ive also had my computer remapped and the hicas tuned more aggresively.. so it comes on faster and "harder" but ive heard stories on how tail happy they are, i just havent had the pleasure of experiencing that extreme tail happy state.. it usually corrects itself really quickly when exiting corners

r32 punches an r33? lol ive never read something so silly in my life. stock for stock r32 is the slowest rubbish box in the world from factory theyre what? 7 secs 0-100? theyre 15yo+ cars and they wish they could pull those numbers the r33 is faster and its been proven millions of times. do the exact same mods to each car and the r32 just gets left further behind

u can under estimate the r32 gtst, unless it has mods such as turbo, cooler, exhaust.. most ppl just do a cooler and exhaust mod, and they are so bloody slow its not funny. i was going to buy one @ one stage when i had my rx7, and i made the mistake of driving my rx7 to the road test.. it was a fairly stock gtst with cooler and exhaust mods only runnin 10psi... it was the most disappointing drive of my life. Driving an Integra Type R was more exciting then again, they are faster stock for stock. until u do mods like turbos and so forth, they arent even worth a mention. The R33 on the other hand, has enough torque (read 340nm+.. dont know exact figure but im sure its more than 340nm) and power from factory to give ur xr6t a good run for its money.. factor in exhaust and cooler upgrades and some boost and they can be pretty darn fast.. Ive never liked the R33 gtst.. ever but i gotta say that they are a far superior car to the r32 gtst in every single way

this is probably the only time ill agree with u. Stock cooler is an awesome piece of kit.. mine mad a max of 296awkw with the stock cooler.. no problems at all -

well it hasnt been proven its actually been proven by the guys who invented measuring units.. u know.. those guys called ENGINEERS?? and uve been proven wrong as well by many other forum users so dont bother arguing dude.. the day a drive train has minimal losses, will be the day that fuel usage drops to like 2lt/100 in a 300kw car but as it stands by today, the loss is about 30% and i wont bother gettin into it with u, because uve already been proven wrong by everyone else on this forum -

mr dude who reckons his done 100s.. im a mech. ive done 1000s of cars of all shapes and sizes and it has nothing to do with worksmanship at all. its just that an a/m dump pipe is about 3mm thick and a cast is about 10mm+ all dumps do it. if u cant hear it then u have hearing problems or u justcant pick up the high frequency. its not your fault. your just human. if it sounds like ur blowing through a whistle then it wont be the turbine sound. turbine whine increases its frequency as it starts to spool until u cant hear it anymore.. dont forget the spool upto about 120k rpm.. soo ull hear the turbine spool up before u hear the compressor. -
they didnt have ferrari b4 because they didnt have a license???? f**ks that got to do with the developers?? they work with what they're given. as for sound.. gt4 sound was fkn shit house... the R34 GTR sounds like a fkn broken rotary when u put the race exhaust on it and it didnt look all that flash atleast with GT5 they seem to have gotten everything right thus far.. the cars look real.. they sound real and the handle quite realisticly
