  1. Duncan has it covered lol looked @ my block when i got home.. my mistake for my first post
  2. I drive an R32 GTR.. the interior is as plain as they come.. almost no shape, everythings black. But its functional.. it doesnt have cuts or curves and sharp angles to make it ugly.. coz its just plain. Problem is when u try to make a dash fancy.. then it goes ugly. When its plain, your not tryin anything so it doesnt bother anyone because its just plain.. plus who looks @ the dash when ur thrashin the crap outta ur car.. its not like u stop @ the next set of lights after uve won/lost and say, "hey man, thats a flash dash u got there buddy"
  3. Ive got a 93' R32 GTR.. with modded turbo, comp, suspension, full exhaust, and soon to be engine. Before engine... 1260 with shannons.. after engine.. 1260.. lol insured for 22000.
  4. umm try 11.7 for 300awkw gtr... Edit: just realised what i wrote.. 11.7??? for 300awkw?? oh god.. the stock R35 with less power does it faster.. all because of its super gearbox..
  5. 4 + 5 = oil returns 1 = water line cant really see the rest....
  6. u want to check the screws? how are u going to achieve that... its inside the motor.. thats a motor out job.. check ur pressures first with an oil pressure gauge from a workshop. mine did the same showing almost no pressure.. it was just teh sender unit. it was rooted.
  7. My mate has a set of HID's in his R32 GTSt... *shrugs* they look pretty flash
  8. i ran pts seals and i didnt run a premix.. wtf for. every rotor engine has oil squiters for this reason. Its just a myth.. premix belongs on 2 stroke motors and despite what most people believe rotarys are 4 stroke motors. as for rebuilds.. i got the engine with the lot.stud kits, pts seals, bridgeported (exhaust included) had rotors balanced and 1 housing replace and some race bearings. 5k later...
  9. ive got 1 left... $100 + delivery if u want it
  10. i think i disagree with the box as well.. ive always known the 6 speeder to be as bullet proof as its engine.. ' If th engine was the decider on what was a better car, then the supra would win hands down. But like Rev210 said, theres alot more to a car than an engine.. because of this, the GTR always wins hands down.. just look @ its track record around the entire world
  11. shed light on what issue?? If u could read.. ud see that everything i said in there is true.. 2jz > rb26 if u couldnt see that.. maybe the issue is with you
  12. hahah awesome comment.. cept i was a GranTurismo generation who had my first session start of last year... and i really hate to disappoint u.. but because winton is such a technical track where power isnt a major player, my fairly modified shitty FWD track prepped Civic owned most cars there.. In fact the only cars which were faster than me were, a Formula ford/holden (3000?), Black Supra, track 180sx and a Series 1-3 track prepped RX7 (which later smashed he wasnt leaving me for dead like he hoped) No wall bouncing or anything.. I was actually asked how many times i had been..should seen theyre faces when i said Never.. GT5 rules all ur shitty pc games. Atleast the Integra Type R handles the way it really does.. because it was the first car i drove JUST to see how well the game potrays its "simulation" It handles almost like the real thing..
  13. ive said this a million times... Both engines cost the same to get 500hp ffs they both handle more than 500hp with stock internals so easily never seen a T04z equipped gtr makin 500rwhp?? not even close?? dude.. im makin 410hp with a pair of hi flowed twins... no big deal. a T04z will make a shit load more then that.. even a GT35R equipped GTR makes more then that In sayin that, so will a 2JZ. The 2JZ will also spool the turbo up quicker makin more torque sooner than the GTR, but it doesnt rev as high meanin once it comes into stride u havent got all that much time to play with it. 7000rpm limit compared to 8500 for a GTR or if ur game.. add another 500rpm to each. To top it off the 2jz is also more reliable @ higher hp outputs. That is probably due to the 2jz being built slightly stronger, but it also doesnt rev as high or hard so it will naturally be more reliable. Now the problem with a Rwd car that has massive midrange torque as well as a strong top end is that it only has 2 wheels to transfer all that extra torque and power = excessive wheel spin. Of course tyre selection can reduce this, But a GTR which will produce less torque down low doesnt have this problem. Having a higher RPM limit also makes the power more usable in the sense that instead of having 500nm @ 2000rpm which isnt as comfy as u think, it makes the same 500nm but @ 4000rpm. Torque isnt delivered as brutal because 4000rpm might be 40km/h instead of 20km/h. To add to that is its 4wd system allowing the brutal transaction to be delivered just as brutally to 4 wheels using the same tyre selection. BUT!!!!!!!!!! a 2JZ in a GTR using a 4WD system would be optimal.
  14. hahah it most certainly is.. i was mainly talkin about that engine thou... not the car..
  15. GT5 rules all including ur shitty pc games
  16. lol defeats most piston motors.. yes defeats all?? not a chance in hell.. try makin 930hp @ 10,500rpm with 2.6lt and no turbos and last a flat out race for 24hrs STRAIGHT
  17. u dont need to replace them... if u can get it started with the igniter plugged in properly it will clean them on its own with a few revs and a semi hard drive
  18. R32 went from 89 to 94... and the new ford is ugly.. and which moron said how does the new gtr compare.. you've got to be kidding me right.. it doesnt compare.. the ford is a nice family car.. its not a super car lol 5.1 secs 0-100 is an awesome time for a family car.. absolutely shockin if u try to compare it with super cars In honestly thou, i like the look of the fat VE.. big gaurds and all. maybe not so much the HSV range with those ugly as rear lights... but teh SS V is a nice lookin car.. but this ford blows the doors off it
  19. Well depends on the gtr... mine gave me around 440km to around 55lts, whether it was highway or city.. it didnt really change at all. My rotor gave me around 150-180km per tank of PULP.....the rotor wasnt makin that much more power either... and it was significantly lighter Havin said that thou, ive known ppl makin around the 300-350rwkw markin using alot less fuel than what i was.. like around the GTR fuel consumption Jump on the Ausrotary.com forums and have a read.. i might even find a fuel comp link for ya as im on that forum as well haha
  20. GTR front bar without the lip?? looks different lol but good or other front bar.. whatever it is it looks nice, but we had a nice clean White R33 GTR @ work the other day... only had a set of wheels and it looked Gold
  21. we talkin 500hp @ wheels or motor.. because if its motor.. then neither engine needs any mods other than exhaust and some boost to easily crack 500hp @ motor.. if its @ wheels then both cars with both same mods will do it just the same.. gt35 + manifold will cost the same on both motors management will cost the same on both motors as will injectors and fuel pumps both cars will be able to max out the turbo u have chosen on stock internals.. only difference is the 2jz will do it for longer and quicker.. and as for stock blocks not lastin the race.. they do and with ease the 2jz just does it alot easier and for alot longer hahah but prep both blocks and u will see the the rb26 is better suited to racing as that is why it was built in the first place.. the 2jz IS THE BEST DRAG RACING 6 CYL U CAN EVER BUY I now await to be burnt EDIT: forgot to add that the 2jz im speakin of its still stock hahah id love to see a stock rb26 make well over 1200hp
  22. Thats a nice lookin gtst.. and it looks like a gtst but the color suits it perfectly.. In my opinion, and i said it wayyy back in this thread.. i dont like R33's. i prefer the r32 LOOKS wise.. R33 is faster than the R32, is newer and blah blah blah.. R32 with rb25/26 is the best option i reckon because i love the look of the R32. but thats my personal opinion As for my "blown" motor.. it never blew champ 1 of the turbos exploded A couple pieces of the wheel managed to somehow go back into the engine and score the bores. no biggie
  23. If only i had known, i woulda sold u mine.. At time of sale i had just finished resprayin myself.. in Tinter Red (READ: BRIGHTEST RED AVAIL) with a black c/f custom bonnet and full kit Ive still got the motor thou, but the shell was sold for 4k with suspension and kit and cage
