  1. That is a custom colour...very similar to MP3. I am sure that Queen St painted this car. Has been for sale for a while. Any more pics?
  2. Roy, The OS88 only comes as a helical dog engagement sequential shifted box. They don't have a straight cut gear version.
  3. ^^I'm with this guy Could have blown up at least 3 stock boxes in that time...
  4. Awesome Birthday present Congrats. What clutch you going to use?
  5. None of those sites have it in stock...it's all ex-OSG Japan. Apparently, one of the companies that makes some of the smaller bits (such as the forks) for OSG went under so they can no longer supply it. Try some other sites and you never know your luck
  6. Let me know if you need one, Jim. Paul, I already have a Direct Clutch billet twin plate, so just changing the plates to suit the 26 spline Holinger shaft of the OS88.
  7. It gives 40mm better ground clearance. Will confirm if it fits BNR34 as I have seen conflicting information about that: RHD says it's for all 3 models; OSGiken's website doesn't speciify; and Otomoto says it's for R32 and R33.
  8. Yeah...I just missed out on a complete bolt in kit with option two box that had a very low kms on it. But got my hands on another one through Jesse Streeter. I couldn't wait 4 or 5 months.
  9. $15K sounds about right for an option OS88 box. Did you also get the OS88 cross member? I would try Ben from Otomoto, he is awesome when ordering from OSG as he is the Aussie Distributor. If I reall , Fatz got a great deal for us earlier on in this thread. It all depends on the AUD-YEN rate. I am out as I am already sorted, Paul
  10. MV rate their RE4 boxes to 900BHP so plenty enough for that power. When you want more than that power, you need to go to a 'glide or TH400
  11. Nice choice going auto for drags (and street). I looked into going to an RE403A a while ago but it wouldn't handle the power/torque I wanted to throw at it.
  12. I just missed out on a slightly used complete option 2 kit at a top price the other week...pity the Yen is so much stronger these days. Plus, OSG say 2 month wait but it is usually 4 months....and $$$ upfront However, if there are a few together, it will apparently be quicker....
  13. The OS88 shifter won't have enough leverage to go across when selecting reverse (needs to be slightly longer). I have an OS88 shifter that I will try to confirm this, but looking at it, it won't work. Selcting 1 - 6 is fine, it's the extra few mm needed to go across and up into reverse that is the issue. And the narrow reverse idler gear of the Trust box is prone to wearing out due to this (I just replaced mine due to this issue). Plus, I would rather the rest of the OS88, not just the shifter
  14. Quaife only make the first series bushed shifter, but that isn't any good in my opinion. You cannot really use the stock shifter as it breaks the plastic bush after selecting reverse a few times. I am investigating weather or not the OS88 direct shifter will work, but I have my reservations as it is made for the forward-back two-way selection of the sequential and is probably too short for the 6 speed H-pattern. Best bet would be to have one custom-made. I am getting one for mine custom-made soon...I can get two made if you like. Alternatively, you could buy an Ikeya sequential shifter conversion...but they aren't cheap
  15. Depends on the rest of the engine bay. Also, do you want to show off the engine bay? Black seems to be the new chrome/polished.
  16. Bastard. Love it :woot: :bunny:
