  1. On a positive note, all that looks like cosmetic damage and can easily be repaired and/or replaced. It shouldn't cost anywhere near $10K though.
  2. yes, they will fit, depending on your ride height, they may need the guards lipped.
  3. get a tape measure and measure from lip to lip. Should be around 305mm (30.5 cm)
  4. I'm always in the area as I only use Dandan Automotive (in Arndell Park).
  5. What's with the internet jockeys bagging him out without themselves being there on the day to know all the facts of that particular situation? I think is it extremely irresponsible of the organiser for not informing all participants of the cruise that there will be a very long (many kms) stretch of dirt track. This, to me, is absolutely ludicrous. I empathise with the owner of the damaged R34 GTR Vspec 2 in that he (amd the rest) was effectively given little choice or warning about the upcoming conditions and once on that track, he was left between a rock and a hard place. I don't blame him for making threats - I too would be more than a little pissed off if I was put in that situation. Glad to see that he has calmed down as that won't help anyone at all. Unfortunately, the situation is what it is and he will have to foot the bill for the repairs. If there is anything that I can do to help in fixing your car, I will do what I can and am happy to help in any way.
  6. I have a video of mine at the drags with the Trust dog box on Dandan Automotive's facebook page. Whiiiiiiiiiine
  7. GTRPSI, I would suggest you get a gear shift lever made up as the stock bush type one doesn't help reverse (the main reason they get damaged).
  8. Would still be interesting to see the results, Simon. Thanks for the info guys. I would think that with these engines getting older (25 years now), that it would be hard to beat those previous times (10.6's!) My 33 has run 11.5@126mph weighing 1760kg with only -5's, ecu, fuel pump and injectors on E85. Bigger cooler and exhaust should help. I might give it a crack while I get my built engine ready and see what happens
  9. GTRPSI: Be careful with the reverse gear on the Trust. It's only 18mm wide and the idler gear is smaller still. They have a tendency to not want to engage properly and the idler teeth are easily ground off if not engaged fully. What shifter are you using on the Trust? How much power do you have? Top choice, Piggaz. I'm in the same boat with the OS88 - it will happen eventually.
  10. No, [NITTO] runs an OS88 Sequential 6-speed. You are referring to the Ikeya Formula Sequential Shifter that can be used with the OEM H-Pattern: http://www.nengun.com/ikeya-formula/sequential-shifter
  11. This has probably been covered before, but I thought I would start a new thread for some fun especially with the popularity of E85 these days. So, post up times of completely unopened OEM RB26 GTR's 1/4 mile times: A quick search gives me: XRATED: - [email protected] (R32, 396rwkw) Tynago: - 10.7@137 (R33) DVS Jez: - [email protected] (R32, 402rwkw) GO!
  12. Sent you an SMS as per your first post regarding a couple of things within 40 minutes of your fist post and no reply yet?
  13. I spin my completely stock RB26 to 8K no problem.
  14. Don't need 280's, Danny. Stick with the ones you have. Will spool better and can easily make 500rwkw. The 280's will make power delivery worse especially for the power you are chasing. Nothing wrong with a T51R - plenty enough for the power you want. As mentioned above, its been done plenty of times before. I agree that you should get a 5 bar map sensor and give it whatever boost it needs to make 500rwkw.
  15. I use them without an issue. Hard pipe kit still uses silicon joiners, just much shorter.
