  1. It's ok. I'm Leb too. But I'm sure no one will hold it against me. Plus, I have been to Cronulla and survived, so it's not as bad as it may seem
  2. It's not going. Only place it's going is back into the workshop for some more mods Hopefully be back before December for some fun before going back into workshop for some race-orientated mods

  5. So, according to the above info, JDM 2008 GTR's will be between 8-8.5 million Yen. This is about $90KAUD raw in Japan. If this was to be SEVS or grey imported it would be around the $125K mark on road.
  6. Dissappointed that they won't have a blue R35 GTR. Maybe they are leaving it for Nismo or other factory special editions
  7. Midnight Purple 3 R34 GTR V-spec

  9. No matter what, the GTR name should remain. This is just a new generation of it. Just like the 911 Porsche has had numerous incarnations.
  10. If the car has not been imported under the road registerable sections of the law, (ie 15 yea rule, Personal import etc) then it cannot be registered for road use. If it was and the owner simply does not have the paperwork for any reason, then DOTARS can provide a certified copy of the original import approval.
  11. Get the VIN and ring DOTARS explaining your situation. They will be the department that can confirm the status of the vehicle and how it was imported into Australia.
  12. I would take that over a Porsche 911 Turbo...
  13. Pity about his head
  14. Oh, and I was half deaf BEFORE I went to the drags
  15. Don't forget the complimentary "thanks for coming" new hairdo you get
  16. Anna, I've done that before....it's awesome! But I'm half deaf anyway
  17. That head is a very good price, do you still have it?
  18. Come on people, this will be a great oppourtunity to see and feel the best in Drag Racing that Australia has to offer. If you haven't experienced a top fuel dragster at full tilt you haven't lived a true revhead life.
  19. niiiiiiiiiiiice! Massive congrats on the purchase.
  20. I'd like to see this 'stock' turbo of yours...
  21. Can any club enter or is it invitation only for Final Battle?
  22. If you don't have the physical import approval letter you can alsways check with DOTARS to find out if it they have issued one and they may be able send you a copy, if not at least tell you i it has approval. However, the person who got the approval originally may have to send a letter to DOTARS to get a copy of it. These days most engineers don't bother with the fuel restrictor as leaded fuel is no longer available to the public. Oh and I forgot about the centre rear brake light as all the cars I have imported already have that from factory. There also needs to be an English tyre placard in place.
  23. Yes, with traction and 4WD working. Car only hooked up mid track and put on 40mph on the second half.
