  1. 13.7@121mph 2.6L 'RWD' R32 GTR
  2. Definitely interested.
  3. Check your relays and fuses (again) in engine bay.
  4. When is the next drag day huh?
  5. I have a twin 2835 high mount kit for sale but it is too big for a street rwd car. I agree, go for 2530's as the will get you what you want and be much more streetable as well as cost effective.
  6. Since he says that there is piston slap, I would take it that the (forged) piston to bore clearance was taken into account. However, it may not have been down according to the specific piston manufacturer's specs. I had a previous engine have that much piston slap that I could physically move and see the pistons left and right in the bore. Next rebuild was much tighter and engine was perfect.
  7. And there never was an N1 head...N1 mechanical differences were in the block, pumps and turbos
  8. Heads definitely have "05U" cast into the side of the head, but they don't have serial numbers like a block does. And the baron is correct regarding the differences in all 3 model heads - cams wil fit, but different CAS and location of CAS on exhaust cam. Also, wiring of CAS differs so need to change two around to make work with r32/33 ecu.
  9. Spotted BOO57A on th Princes Highway at Heathcote this afternoon...4:45pm
  10. I know this is in the wrong section, but I thought I would get more hits in here. Looking for a decent RB26 block for a rebuild. Thanks, Charlie.
  11. You don't really need twin highmounts to achieve the power you are after, unless you just want them for the sake of having them. My twin 2835's made a lazy 411rwkw on 1.1 bar, but the abovementioned turbos in previous posts can easily make the power you need, which is plenty for a street RWD car.
  12. Hang on...why are you still on your RED P's after 4 years? Everyday I see many P-Platers not doing the right thing when driving on the road. Eg 130kph+ on the freeway or 80 in 50 and 40 zones, usually while hiding their P-plates behind the number plate or inside the rear window. And with incidents like the crash yesterday, it gives the police more reason to aim their attention at the younger less experienced drivers. However, if you don't do aything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about.
  13. are these 4 and 5 stud?
  14. It was quite a dog to drive. You need to slam it in to get it to engage and would suit both your and my style of driving Street driving was fun but I personally didn't mind it and put up with it. Although I only drove it for a few kms before it decided that 2nd had had enough. Further to that, my clutch isnt the easiest thing to drive so that is also a consideration.
  15. What about a combination of dog 1, 2, 3 with helical 4, 5?
  16. The usual forged bottom end; no real need for major head mods - just a clean up when you fit Tomei poncams; T04Z or GTSS or GTRS's; power fc, 700cc+ injectors, bigger fuel pump; oil mods won't hurt and also a decent oil pump like JUN, HKS, Trust etc There will be other requirements, but these are the basics.
  17. You do realise that this is a Skyline forum? Try Ausrotary.com
  18. PM Replied. Tell him he's dreamin' What part of "No timewasters or lowballers" don't some people understand?
  19. As is often the case, it's not the car that is the problem, it's the driver. As benm said, "Not even 4wd will save dickheads."
  20. Yes...silver with big GT wing andaftermarket front bar. He redlined it off the line and was all over the track...left, right, left and then hard left almost cleaning up an orange 200sx before spinning and smacking the RHS 1/4 into the left wall. Wasn't a good result with a nice crunch into the rear and some front damage. I am sure there will be pics and video on the usual sites soon. I'm still scacthing my head as to how you lose control of a 4WD Skyline going down a drag strip.
