Hi Chris There are Asuka Hawk Ranger DVB tuners available through me or CHOOK on this forum. I have not seen inside the V36 but I would presume that the set up is similar to the V35 in that the AUX input is through the OEM tuner. The plug is not what you would normally look for but there is an adapter cable available that changes the input to RCA plugs to work with external tuners or other devices. In the V35 the tuner is in the boot on the left side under the floor tray. I am not sure where you are but if you are in Sydney I am happy to give you a hand to find it and see what it need to plug into the AUX input. Cheers Andy

The tuner should work for the C34 also. The difference is that the HRIII has the additional features. * Can record digital TV whilst watching another channel. * Can play MP3&MP4 via USB input. * Can display photo's. These are the key differences. If you are interested in the HRII I have these available in Sydney. Cheers Andy

You are correct that you do not fit them but has been the Law since I was a little boy that ALL vehicles entering the National Park had the have chains that fit their wheels in their car. 99% of the time any 4WD or AWD vehicle will not have to fit them. The NEW law that was attempted to be brought in was that any vehicle without High & Low Range 4WD and locking Diffs would have to put on chains when there was snow on the road. This meant it included all Subaru's etc..... And this was an outrage and thus, has not been introduced.

you might not need them but you Legally have to carry them in your car..

I use AutoSock on my car because my clearance on my ARX is not that great with Bilstein shocks.

Serviced my Diffs today and put in some good quality light weight oil.

Looks nice, Impul body kit and an aftermarket FMIC. (maybe a Impul ECU in there also) some sort of aftermarket suspension. Looks like the the CV boot seals are a starting to come off. The M35 is a much more refined car than the C34 and lots more torque. A bit more of a cruiser. You should enjoy. There is lots of information on this forum about trouble shooting problems.

Nistune does not work on the M35.......... neither do most of the diagnostic software on the market.

I know they are very similar but Cam tells me they are slightly different. not so much that they are in a different spot, more that the inlet size is slightly different I think. (I think)

The kit we made is specific to the VQ25DET motor as the VQ35DE is slightly different. Send IAMHE77 a PM as he was working on a phenolic spacer for the VQ35DE. Cheers Andy

+1 for check your oil and consider an oil change.

How were your brakes and transmission after a few laps? which track?

Third party insurance with your rego ONLY covers, injury to people. If you hit someone with no Car insurance you will be up for the damage out of your pocket. My advise, at a minimum get Third Party, property and theft insurance. This is cheaper than comprehensive but does no cover damage to your vehicle.
