  1. Shannons say that In NSW/Sydney you have to have a garage. I will check again today but that is what they said last year. LSV insurance went up 60% this year to $2600 for an old bastard like me with no loss of licence or infringements. I use the car for business and parked in a driveway. Just Car are better this year, premium has not gone up and excess is now reasonable at $600 compared to $1200 they wanted last year. The price I am continuing to have to pay to insure this car is taking all my money. ($1800 PA) It is giving me the shits.
  2. Unless you don't have a garage. Then you have no chopice and there goes my exhaust. Might just have to build a garage.
  3. my insurance company (ex insurance company) said too many claims are being made on Stagea's. Has to be the C34's as I have not heard of any M35's having bingles. And we are all too sensible to do that. Maybe not Jetwreck with his 17 year old mental state
  4. I don't think it will be that straight forward as the ARX also has HICAS and I don't think all the other models have that fitted. The ratio's would probably be different also as the ARX is on 18 inch wheels (225/55/18) standard v's 17 inch standard on the RS & RX.
  5. It was just different specification for different models. The ARX is aimed as the all terrain vehicle and as such hes different specifications to suit the targeted market. I can assure you that the ARX has great handeling in the wet with the rear initially stepping out and slowly coming back in as the front torque kicks in. It is not shown in the standard computer screen. By the same token that it does not have the front torque gauge, the ARX does have a LSD that no other Stagea is fitted. The LSD is a great aid to the handeling of the car. Cheers Andy
  6. I will be coming for Ryde area
  7. maybe, heated by the Intercooler?
  8. I have heard that the Haltech has been fitted to the M35 successfully.
  9. Seems I was wrong about LSV wanting to insure Daily Drives. My annual renewal is due and has almost doubled. Looks like time to start shopping around.
  10. How much boost do your want? Do you realise that in sock form the car is already running 14-15psi. The only benifit of a boost controller would be to get the boost to come on sooner. That is unless you have already installed a high flowed turbo. In that case you will want one to get the boost to come on earlier.
  11. Looked OK, I will take a pic of it next time I see it. It was chrome and turned in at the ends. It is a bummer when those marks happen. Cheers Andy
  12. Pick a night other than Thursday. Can't ever do Thursday.
  13. Spotted a White M35 ARX this morning parked on Victoria rd, with nice aftermarket 20 inch or 19 inch wheels. Also had the chrome towel rack on the front bumper, LOL.
  14. Hey my economy is worse than yours so maybe I am not that slow.
  15. The sticker is a small round silver sticker (dot) about 1cm diameter. On my car it was on the top of the wheel arch next to the silver plate on the drivers side. That said, mine still failed despite being checked. Cheers Andy
  16. Dimensions are listed here; http://www.northshoreprestige.com.au/vehic...el=stagea#specs The car is bigger that a Subaru Outback but only maginly longer and slightly wider.
  17. ETC = Electronic Toll Collection For Japan only
  18. Now where did I put my Soap Box?
  19. I emailed them last year and they said that it was not compatible with our engine. If this changes let me know. And yes, they run very rich. Cheers Andy
  20. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, interesting. The thread has been removed. What does that mean? No idea then if the NA M35's can be complied or not. At the moment, the M35 with VQ25DET (turbo) can be complied up to Oct 2003 production. Dast this manufacture date and it can not be complied. There was a whole thread about the NA M35 with VQ35DE, 2004 model on being able to be complied but it has been removed. Glad to hear business is going well.
  21. when you say not due for 16'500 km yet are you referring to changing the timing belt at 100'000km? I would presume that the VQ35DE like the VQ25DET has a chain for the the timing belt unlike many other new cars with rubber timing belts. My understanding was that the timing belt does not need to be changed at 100'000 km, perhaps tightened but not changed. If I am wrong please let me know? Cheers Andy
  22. I agree, I have the D70s and there is no way that is going out there, thus the GoPro. Tried it on the bike and in the surf on the w/end and it was great.
  23. I got myself a little GoPro camera a month or two back and just bought the suction mount. So will have to try this out with a little basic camera. Cheers Andy
  24. 245/40 x 20 looks to be the same rolling diameter.
  25. Read this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Em...Im-t265649.html Apparently there is one car complied and on the road in SA. I would personally like to see the car myself to believe it.
