  1. I haven't worked on the V35 but I know they are a very different shape. The V35 has a more sloping bonnet / grille. Cheers Andy
  2. +1 Looks like it also has 1) Super fine hard coat 2) Cold pack. I think the cold pack is heated side mirrors and heated front windscreen. Cheers Andy
  3. From what I have been told, Sydney is the problem, not really any particular suburb. Some may be worse and slightly more but over all it is cheaper to insure outside Sydney and even cheaper in another state other than NSW.
  4. I feel your pain but thank you lucky stars you are not paying Sydney insurance rates for a car used for business.
  5. Great work Cam, I don't know where you ind the time. So many options. ..... ....
  6. Though that was a bit titchy before I saw the other 10 posts......OMG!
  7. Spotted a M35 ARX, pearl white with nice 20 inch wheels just round the corner from my office in Cromer. Looks like my Stagea has a neighbour now!
  8. Noted Stephen. No, there will not be any problem with the ETC. The ETC operates separatley and will include the ETC on the menu in the English version. You will see what I mean when you see my car. The developer is working on the security for his conversion but can not tell me at this stage when it will be complete. I hope for every ones sake it will be soon. Cheers Andy
  9. Also the spring rates would be different.
  10. 40mm more ground clearance (180mm) 10mm more track width front and rear. The LSD at rear but this is not the really a suspension difference. I haven't been able to find any other differences. The Bilstein set for the ARX drops the ride height by about 40mm. If the the sets are not for the ARX but for a RS or RX they would drop the ride height by 60-80mm. Cheers Andy
  11. Thanks Stephen and Ian. Stephen you haven't even seen my car let alone seen me drive. Looks like a track day challenge for the best lap time will be on soon..................
  12. try Bunnings for the White Spirits.
  13. Give Chris Rogers a call. He knows all the options. Cheers Andy
  14. mmm. Maybe it is time to see if we can get a discount for a group buy? anyone else interested. PS. Ian will fit it for you. LOL
  15. I have been reading comments by MXFLY who fitted a dump pipe and high flow cat and kept the standard exhaust whilst waiting for a Legalis exhaust to come from OS. He commented on the turbo spooling faster and pulling harder than stock. Have a read of this thread, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Nm...mp;hl=dump+pipe. Cheers Andy
  16. Yes, you will loose all the functionality of the trip computer and other functions. There are no other inputs for the monitor if you take it out so the screen will be useless also. It sounds like you have the Tv tuner also. You are better off buying the connector from Chris Rogers ($70) that gives you a RCA input. Then you can input whatever you want to the screen and still have the other functions. I can show you some of how this works on the week end when I am in Cnaberra. Cheer Andy
  17. I went the whole solution. Bought the TV tuner from Chook (about $300) and then bought a Panasonic reverse camera (NTSC) that had a rca plug and now the reverse camera turns on automatically when in reverse, changes from the TV to AV1(with the reverse camera) and when I put it back in D it changes back to TV. Mind you, you need the park brake overriden (special button from Japan) to be able to view the screen when the park brake is released. Cheers Andy
  18. You will use the rear window. It is much easier to open than the boot if just some thing small to put in.
  19. I was quoted today $1500 for a Haltech Interceptor and Dyno tune. I thought this sounds quite reasonable. Don't our cars already have a cold air intake? That is why the intake sits above the radiator for air under the front lip of the bonnet. Ok, sounds like the Powerduct at $180 would be a good buy. Cheers Andy
  20. Ben's got 3 other M35's in the yard. Tell him to take one off for you. Cheers and welcome. Andy
  21. Andy65b; Andy; NM35 AR-X; West Ryde; Not Thursday, Weekend in the afternoon, not this weekend. Jelly beans are the best! None for you Craig.
  22. I was reading (or at least attempting to read japanese) a M35 Stagea manual on the weekend and it had some interesting information on fuel economy in it. Could not read the model number but it listed 3 Stagea models with the VQ25DET fitted with weights from 1680kg to 1770kg. It also listed there average fuel consumption from 9.0km/L (1680kg) through to 8.4km/L (1780kg). Helps explain why the ARX never gets the same sort of economy as the RS & RX cars.
  23. I agree with danny that it looses a small amount of bottom end power but the upside is the top end. Consumption may be a bit worse. Maybe I will change it back and watch the economy for a while.
  24. It may depend on your suspension height to run that offset. I know my +36 scrape the front guard flare when turning and going through a drive way.
