They are talking about $100 US for the full conversion when ready. So that is about 120-125 Aust. I only have the demo versions which is only a few screens converted.

Hi Jules There is a button (silver rectangle) on the right side of the display with a symbol like a radar (expanding waves) . When this button is pressed it changes to a preset traffic station. I don't know how to set it but just press it again and it will change back to normal functions. Cheers Andy

Hi guys As discussed , I have attached a copy of the emails I have had with the company in Russia that has managed to convert the language of the Xnavi GPS system. Unfortunatley we are still a way off having a solution but we do know it is possible and that this company is inderested in converting the system if there are enough people interested. There may be a solution. I have made contat with a Russian company that has done the conversion from Jap to Russian. They believe they can do the conversion but will need min customers 20-30 to make it worth while. Then there needs to be someone who can install the firmware. One option send the units (nay above glovebox) to Russia or better is to find a local comany who can work on the units. Second step is to work out how we get local maps? The company I have spoken to is http://www.xanavi.ru/cnt.shtml, You can see some of the converted windows on their web site. A fair way to go but it is a start. I have had about 5 people so far say they would do it.

Apparantley they spent 6 months working it out the code.

I made contact with a Russian company today that has done the conversion of the navigation system for the M35 & V35 from Japanese screens to Russian through an update to the firmware. They believe they could do the same for an english version but would require 20 - 30 units to convert to justify the investment. The upside is that they are charging about $100 (not sure if this is US or Aust) in Russia to do the conversion. We just need to work out if someone in Aust could do the install or if the units need to be sent to Russia. Lets think down the local avenue, who would know how to the install? Is this a Chris Rogers job? I see light at the end of the tunnel..........

Are you guys running on Premium ULP or regular ULP? My results are on Premium.

My results are not that far off those numbers. Results are varying from 7.1L/litre - 9.9L/litre (14ltr/100k - 10.1ltr/100k) with the average around 7.5k/litre (13.3ltr/100k). Having just opened up the airbox a bit I have been playing a bit and am getting 7.1 at the moment. Cheers Andy
