Vibration At 100km/h
Gtrgodzilla67 replied to Rekin's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Did the grease monkey put the pins back in that hold the clutch central after it was machined or leave them out ? i have seen this before and it caused a vibration but it was car speed unrelated only vibrated when you hleb the reves up ,. your problem is realtive to wheel speed not car engine rpm ? if so check wheel bearing and all the other garbage, my 2 cents -
as above has anyone made these ? to replace the water oil lines on the twin turbo (r34n1S) set up as the standard ones look terrible !! is thier a kit you can buy ? anyideas? cheers pete.

Whining Gearbox/flywheel
Gtrgodzilla67 replied to Links's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
OK ima level it for you guys . im a gearbox builder of 6 yrs now and a bearing whine isnt constant its more of a grumble , your problems are as follow , 1,2,3,5, place load on the input and cluster, once in 4th the input and cluster gears are not used, its not bearings at all its the input and counter that need replacing due to the gears beeing flatend out or possibly streched ater a huge thrashing Or wear and tear and oil not beeing changed enough , its extremly common in these boxes , but it will not damage the gearbox in anyway at all only annoy the shit out of you , My r32 gr does it to , i tell people its got and aftermarket gearset in it LOL ,, If you want it fixed replace the input shaft and counter, and ill guarentee it will dissapear and so will $1800 all nissan gearsets whine after a while right down to Navaras LOL hope this clears it up for you AND im 100percent sure this is the niose your hearing, -
Fly Wheel Q's
Gtrgodzilla67 replied to bubbabooga's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Look at the pressure plate ? are the fingers worn/bent, look for hot spots and sign of uneven wear on the pressure plate , if its worn throw it in the bin,, -
LEAVE the thermostat Housing in thier and remove the centre of it as this allows it time to cool in the readitor instead of just pouring through HOT!!!

on the bottle is says -43 or something in that range the stuff works well for bolts to LOL jam it in the hot pipe and spray under boost the would make a huge difference would sorta be like water injection,
