  1. Try the rotors/pads/lines first, they should be good unless you have a very powerfull car. The new DBA 4000 series rotors are very good, much lighter than the older ones, and work well. If you wont more i suggest looking at CSC, ther were advertised in HPI a few months ago, the price is just over 2k for a set of large 4 piston calipers with 2 piece discs, 343x32 from memorey, this is only a little more than a gtr brembro setup and is much better and all new.
  2. pic, would ship interstate if anyone is interested
  3. I have a RB25 turbo complete with manifold and oil/water lines, dump pipe, good condition, $600 In adeliade will post pics in next couple of days, email ahrns@senet.com.au for info
  4. You should be able to get your turbo highflowed for around $1000, a basic rebuild would only be $300 or so for a plain bearing turbo.
  5. Does it have a single throttle body or is it running the 6 throttles
  6. and yes i have driven both as well as a 33 and my 32, the 32 is the best of the lot but it has a few mods
  7. Different cars for different people. XR6T, nice cruisey family sedan or ute, has a bit of poke (remember the serious mods have to wait untill the warranty ends), handle surprisingly good, cheper for insurance etc, and are comfortable with a good looking interier. 34GTT feels faster maybe because its lighter, handles better as it has better feedback for the driver, good potential for mods, but has the usual import insurance/parts probs. Drive both and buy what you wont
  8. I have a copy of the rule book, but they are not really strict on checking, as long as it has a sticker with something on it somewhere your ok
  9. For Karting it needs either AS1698, Snell 1980,1985,1990,1995 or BS6658-85, this is streight fron the AKA rule book.
  10. You should be ok with importing as long as it has Snell rating, my bell dosent have a asur standard just the snell sticker on the inside, would not be legal on the road but is fine for karting, drags and should be good for cams events.
  11. While not being overlly efective it cant hurt to give it a spray every few mins. In 32s they have a hose from the washer bottle for the rear window, seeing i removed the rear wiper im going to use that to spray the intercooler, just push the button when on a streight run. Everything is allready there and mounted just need to position the hose.
  12. they are the nissan ones, look good enough and i think the totally clear ones are for GTR 32
  13. my mate has one will bo comming off the car soon, want $600, with all throttle bodies

  17. s13 is 4 stud, gtst skylines are 5 stud, if you do a hub conversion they will fit
  18. as other have said for most left foot braking is only used to steady the car when you are still on the gas, other than that there is not much benefitt, but many still do it a lot. I struggle as i have big feet and getting two feet close together with the padal close is nearly impossible.
  19. The ones with the screw driver bits are called zues? clips, these are normally used to hold complete pannels on, people use 6 to hold the complete bonnet on, where the other type are used just to secure the front down. Both should be avaliable from race shope, revolution racegear etc.
  20. Provding there is no wheel spin and you stop at the speed limit, you have not realy commited an offence. But anyone who purposley races someone from the lites to 30k over the speed limit, with traffic around them is running a big risk, if you get cought bad luck, no one to blame but yourself. Is all about time and place
  21. Unsure if the compete diff will be a streight sway, but the diff centres are all interchangable. You also have to check the driveshaft pattern as they are different on 32s and i had to change the drivshafts when i fitted a 32 gtr centre in my 32 gtst
  22. I have a full set of 34 gtt wheels, they are 17x7.5 complete with nuts, and the centr cover. All wheels in excellent conditon, only 1 small mark on one wheel. With pirelli p7000 235/45 tyres, 2 80%, 2 40%, $900, in Adelaide email ahrns@senet.com.au for more pics/info
  23. Yeah but there is more probability that you will crash than your car will get stolen, well it is for most cars, except skylines. Its easy to get third party fire theft on most cars just not high theft risks. I think you can get 10K, max for theft which is better than nothing and when you save nearly 2K a year on insurance its worth the risk.
  24. Anyone know if Famous or any others will give third party, fire, theft on a skyline, i can get third party for bugger all but the fire/theft not many will do, and i dont wont to pay 2k for comprehensive anymore.
