    Places in Tokyo

    My Dad is going to Japan next week and will have a day or so in Tokyo, so im after some names of some decent easy to find places to get some small parts considering he wont have much time, cheers Clint

  9. I have some adjustable caster rods to suit s13/r32/r33 gtst, they have large rose joints and the main shafts are alloy. now $275 delivered These can be made to suit r32 gtr, 34gtt and proably 33 gtr also
  10. Thanks all, i need to pump them out a bit and i rang a couple of places and they said they can only roll the guards, if they do more with their machines it stuffs the paint/guard, so i may need to look into a crash repair type place to do the job.
  11. also the race was in a saftey car period when skaife walked towards the edge of the track, a lot different to if the it was under green
  12. does anyone know a good place to get guards rolled, i need mine pumped a fair amount on the rear, and only know of 2 places that do it, cheers Clint
  13. Roy i remember the incident from a few years ago, ingall is very good at doing that whilst not making it too abvious. There was rubbing through the corner and on the exit, fine, both were trying to stay on the track, But still once ingall was back on the black stuff he kept turning into skaif, forcing him into the spin, and if avesco were serious they would get a copy of the data and see what he was doing to make a calculated decision not just their normal crap. Neither driver should have acted the way they did after the incident but untill you have been involved in motorsport where you spend millions (or just thousands) and you are crashed off buy no fault of your own its hard to juge how you would react.

  19. well for a std or basic upgrades it does the job well, and there have been plent who have made 300rwkw with the thing. I decent tubular manifold would deliver benefits but its all $$. Ive got a rb25 that needs some pistons and once thats built properly i will probably get a compete nes setup and sell mine as it is, for a budget set up it works well, and when i did it thats what i was after a cheap 12 sec car, now i wont a reliable 11 sec car so it all changes.

New the 540s in 16'' is $230, if you find the right people who race saloon cars and the like they will give away their old race tyres for next to nothing but like the ones MattR has they only have very minimal tread and are no longer as sticky as new ones, i scored a pair for nothing but when they have 30% tread and have not been used for a while they go off a bit.
  21. What do you menat, the runner length? Its a stock manifold with the turbo mived out 50mm, so it flows the same as a stock manifold, the runner length does not affect the gate a lot. The problem with it is the position of the gate does not have good flow to it and the boost creeps slightly on the drag strip.
  22. 3kmph i doubt half the speedos in old cars would be that accurate, another good reason to live in SA. If you dont nominate the driver the fine is $600 plus the normal fine, so add another $110 or whateve it is. Anyone know the demerit points lost?, cheers Clint
  23. 234rwkw on 16psi, its only a small t04 with a 0.64 a/r compressor and exhaust housing
  24. waht size to4e, it would only prove a prob if running very low boost, i run a 45 mm gate on my to4e and there is no probs with 16psi, what boost do you wont to run and what spring is in the gate.
