  1. skysaresilver they were making oil and water lines, not suitable way to make brake lines. There are plenty of places that can make braided brake lines, but only the ones that have been certified are legal, i assume they fit some type of tag to them.
  2. 33 GTR will fit the rear and give proper ride height, the 33 GTR front will fit in the front but the car will be very low about as low as you can go, but still ok. 33 GTST stuff may be what you need for the front but i have new tried, just know about fitting 33 gtr stuff and we have done this to the 34tt.
  3. What about me? I have a tuff 32
  4. I have a extreme extra heavy duty cusioned ceramic clutch and i could not recommend a better clutch, its 100% drivable on the street no problems at all. And it has held 235rwkw with decent tyres on the drag strip for many passes. Still looks good with over 2mm wear after about 2 years of use, if you plan on giving your car a hard time and can afford it go for it.
  5. If you plan on pushing your injectors go the 044, it can support a higher pressure. It may be loud but you never have to worry about it again.
  6. As i fitted my new gearbox on friday i thought i would go and test it out today at AIR. After doing 2 runs on my crap street tyres we bolted on the 540s Bridgestone Tyres for some fun, ran a 12.87 with a nice 1.89 sec 60ft time. My best terminal speed was 113.5mph which was also good. Only got a couple of other decent passes before a large head wind came out to destroy the track. Was one other 32 gts and Keir Willsons GTR there, Keir could not get any traction again.
  7. The mechanical diff whines a bit but dosent bother me, there is no other alternaitve to put the power down. My rb20 box would always crunch, was ok for a while but after i put 235rwkw through it and was smoking decent tyres it had had enought. RB25 box is much better, i dragged my car today and the box was great, occasional slight notch into second but nothing major, ran a 12.8 so im happy.
  8. I have seen a hks turbo, 2510 from memory, a older version that had that HKS cast dump pipe. Just because they dont seel them now dosent mean they were never made. Just like you can buy old HKS cast manifolds, looked a bit crude but were ok for their time. I will keep a look out and may no of a 34 cooler for sale soon.
  9. The people running the dyno were a joke, one guy could not even drive the JMS 33 onto the dyno. Took them ages to set up the cars and then had problems, better than nothing i suppose. Anyone know what numbers the cars made, it seemed to reed very different to the normal Dyno Dynamics, the 33 made 257 and they were going again but i gave up waiting.
  10. Check the rod ends on the steering, mine are stuffed (rubber boot cracked and lost greese) and it makes noises when i turn a bit of lock. The caster rods only hold the arm at an angle so they dont do a lot.
  11. I have finished fitting my rb25 gearbox into the 32. Was a fairly easy fit with only minor mod required, all up cost $1500. Box bolts up fine, with the stock gearbox mount needing some plates welded to it to move it back about 50mm. Need to fit the rb25 slave cyliner to the gearbox as 32 one is different A new tailshaft needs to be made as yoke is different, i got the first part of the 33 one with the box and it cost $220 to get lenghtned 600mm. You need to get a 32 GTR speedo sensor and grind off the gear from the end of it(its moulded on) then fit the gear from the end of the 33 electronic speedo, then the mechanical speedo works fine. The plugs on the box for the reverse sensor and something else need to be changed The shifter all goes in the in the same spot and all fits good. Overal the box feels much better and is able to be shifted fast with not cruncing, only tyre smoke.
  12. They all use the same size discs, and im pretty sure they are the same calipers just different colours.
  13. here is a pic if works, pretty simple to make, but needs to be welded on propery cost $200 just to do this.
  14. 0.6 ar comp and exhaust housing, the exhaust wheel was a little big about 59mm from memory, i got it as it was cheap, about $1000 for it all up once i got it recod, cost about $1700 for turbo, wastegate and manifold modifications.
  15. T04r would be a bit bigger, thats what is commonly put on GTRs in Japan with about 600hp. Is that kit one comming soon at JMS, i would stick with what you have got for the street.
  16. The to4 requires and external gate but i mounted mine on the stock manifold to reduce the cost. It pulls hard from under 4k and makes full boost by 4500, when driving normally it pulls hars with no noticable lag. The only time the lag is noticable is when you are just crusing along and you put your foot down you have to change down to get then revs up. But if you are driving hard and keeping the revs up the lag is not noticable. The highflow is probably the best bet for ease of fitting and drivavbility but you would need a rb25 or vg30 turbo to start with for good results. With 234rwkw my car has run a 13.4 at 112mph, but i broke the gearbox so i didnt get a decent run, i expect to run a 12 very soon.
  17. I can take pics but they just look like the DBA slotted rotors, i will measure them tomorrow as thats probably more important.
  18. My car already had a 4.36 diff in it which is now for sale. If your worried about the speedo go grab a electronic bike speedo and mount it in the front wheel, very easy, cheap and accurate.
  19. Higher would be better for both the drags and street, reduces top speed but will give better acceleration.
  20. So the shifter, and the fork etc that the slave sylinder pushes? I will have a look when i pull the box out tomorrw and let you know. But Then everything else is not worth much, would $100 including freight sound ok.
  21. What other parts are you after? Its really only good for the parts
  22. Thay are legal if done buy places that are certified to do them, should be able to get them soon from someone i know.
  23. 32/s13 GTST caster rods with whiteline bushes fitted to give more caster, $120 or $80 exchange with originals. Stock 32 cooler and pipes, $170 Stock airbox $70 complete 32 tailshaft $70 email [email protected] to make an offer on any parts your interested in
  24. Master cyliner will be fine, the brakes have just got bigger pistons giving more force but they are not large enough to cause a problem. I saw some 33 Brembro on performance forums for 1600 which is a good price. But i want the option of being able to use 16'' wheels so the 32 gtr brakes are the go and with decent pads and braided lines will give good performance for the lighter gtsts like ours.
  25. Should be fine mate, in going to use 32 GTR ones not sure it they are different to the 33 gtst ones or not but i will be able to get these cheap.
