I have just changed the rear diff internals and hubs driveshafts to gtr stuff on my gtst. So i have a 32 gtst diff viscus was not suited to 235rwkw but would be good for a gts and the driveshafts and hubs to suit. This will all bolt on to your gts and give you a 5 stud rear. Just need the rear disks and brake. I want $350 for diff.driveshats and hubs.

im pretty sure the r32 has a mechanical spedo, not an electric one like a 33.

When you go over regency they will check everything. Is the BOV a plumback one, if not you will need to change it. Exhaust is ok as long as it is not very loud, easy to put a restrictor in it if it is loud. Airfilter im not sure on, you may be ok with it.

Thanks Sam, the gearbox mount is easy, and the tail shaft is not too hard i suppose, just need to find a box and yoke for a decent price.

I have done a search but not found any real answers. I have stuffed my rb20 gearbox, now makes some nice noises when you back off, and it gets stuck in reverse. I want to fit a rb25 gearbox and i just want confirmation everything will go in fine. Im sure the box will bolt to the block and the input shaft is the same. Im only worried about the length and the tail shaft going in. The speed sensors are different can you just change them?

I dont think so. I pullerd the indicators out of a gtr the other day and they were way bigger due to the fact that the guard flares out right fron the front. Im 99% sure they are different

If you want something custom made to suit let me know. Im guessing it hits on the plenum, by how much.

deffinately worth doing again Ivan. the extra $30 over a street meet is better for everyone i think. Probably i little later in the year though.

Every one i have seen have been stuffed, the bushes are about $100 so you get the fitting and some new rods as well. edit: GTR are different if thats what you want them for.

For everyone with a 32gtst that has stuffed their crap std viscus LSD i have a soution. After looking around for a mechanical LSD for a long time i decided to get something done with a std diff. In the end a GTR mechanical centre was put in the gtst diff, then i just had to use the GTR driveshafts and hubs, these bolted in with only one minor modification to the hubs. The other way many people do it is to replace the hole cradle with a GTR one then you have to change the shocks to suit. My way is a lot easier and cheaper.And works out about the same as buying a mechanical LSD if you can find one.

as soon as i get i new one its yours. I was going to try and completlty destroy it before i pulled it out for some fun though.

I need to find out if the box bolts up with no mods. But after fitting my diff im sure i cna handle something that requires some mods. I recieved the diff friday morning to find it had GTR 6 bolt output. So i had to find GTR drivshafts and hubs. No one coul tell me it they would bolt in or not, but after a few modifications it all bolted in ok and now i have a mechanical lsd. Im now decideing between 32 box sell the car, 33 box with rb23, or 33 box with rb30. Ivan did the CV joint.

My first run was on my fm901's and i launced at low revs seeing i only just finished putting my diff in at 9am. Ran a 13.6@112mph. I was happy with that and then launched a bit harder and did a 13.4@110 but was still slow off the line. The we put the 540s tyres on a did 3 passes each one with a either 2nd or 4th gear not going in properly. Went back to the pits and there was a loud noise from the gearbox so i decided not to run anymore so i could drive home. Now need new gear box. It makes a large grinding noise when you back off and reverse gets stuck in. It was always going to happen i suppose. Anyone got a rb25 gearbox for sale?

At a normal street meet all you need is a helmet and long sleeves, they just check the car for oil/water leaks. No need for any other saftey devices

They charge a lot for avgas at air from memory. I may be a little late in the morning due to a few problems, will be there at 10 hopefully. I got my new diff but they used a GTR centre as it is a mechanical type lsd with a 4.3 ratio. But i now need to use GTR driveshafts and GTR hubs, so at the moment the car has no diff, rear brakes, rear hubs, driveshafts and exhaust. So i will be busy in the morning.

assuming the hub bolts on you could replace the hub mount with the alloy ones but you will need gtr shocks as they have a different mounting style. Other than that you shouldnt have a problem.

The gtst rear hub is steel, i wanted to know if the gtr and 300zx are the same. You use a n/a 300zx rear hub on a s13 as they bolt on and have the same spline. In my cas i know the gtr spline is different and i need the gtr driveshafts and hubs. I just dont know if the hubs will bolt on the the gts or not.

also is the 300zx and 32gtr alloy rear hub mount the same. As i have a set of these and could bolt this in using the stock suspension arms as these are all the same and i would jus need some GTR rear shocks.

I need to know if a GTR rear hub will bolt onto a GTST, i know the spline is different but is anything else. I am getting a diff that will go in my car but it has GTRinsides including the driveshaft pattern, so i need to fit the GTR driveshaft and hubs to my gtst suspension will this work. Any help appreciated

Steve I still have most of the stock parts so i could make it stock easily but thats. Im in no rush, just seeing if thereis any intrest wont to get a GTR at the end of the year. Ive had the car for 2 and a half years and done lots of work and learnt heaps, just feel it is time to move on soon.

2530 would be good, look at the hakari website they have a few on there from memory for decent prices. I have also replied to your post regarding a cooler.
