  1. spoolin, how was your old exhaust different to get the huge gain?
  2. at the end of the year I wont need my AFM and ECU if you can wait.
  3. Martin would you be able to tell me how many KW@the wheels you have got out of a gtr with stock injectors without needing to up the pressure. I am just looking for some for my 32 to support about 230rwkw. thanks.
  4. If the turbo is not ballbearing it should be about that price. Go see dynamic turbos they seem to be better priced than ATS. I had a mate put a bigger compressor wheel, and fully rebuild my t04 and it cost just under 700, so just a rebuild should be about 4-500.
  5. the spacers will depend on the wheels. I machined my shocks, my cars not low i just set them up how I wanted them.
  6. With the bilsteins you can adjust the height by machining groves in the shocks ( thats what I have done). You can get two types of wheel spacers, ones that bolt on and others that slide over the studs, these will require longer studs. the ones that bolt on are better but you only need them if you need 25mm or so spacing. If you only need 10mm or so slip on ones will be fine, I have used both on a mates car.
  7. Its only $500 i think to get Tillbrooks to do your computer, at least then you know its right. But you should get that front pipe and cat first.
  8. Probably spend the little extra and get it mapped to suit your car exactly. How much are they worth?
  9. not all teins are damper adjustable either.
  10. Unless you want to drift coilovers are too stiff, I can get good prices for whiteline stuff so, Bilstein shocks with whiteline springs seen to be a good upgrade.
  11. about $1400, the space is just due to difference between the GTR, it dosent affect the handling. The car sits nice and low and handles great. Hard to find anything new for a GTT
  12. Yeah, bring that title back to SA where it belongs.
  13. yeah thats about it, he said that in the past people have tried it and it didnt work as well as a normal injector, but this place has got it right, he used some in a VL i think with a 3L and RB25 head running haltech. Next time I speak to him ill try and find some more info.
  14. Matt, I was speaking to someone the other day who instals Haltech computers and does other stuff and he said he knows someone interstate that is able to drill injectors to any size and obtain good results. Its costs about $80 each to do but you wouldnt need a new fuel rail.
  15. Matt, no worries mate i have been very busy anyway (planning all my mods for the end of the year )
  16. some pretty decent numbers well done. Maybe I will have to get 550cc injectors and give some of you a run for your money.
  17. I know that if you have used any silicon based products on your car eq Amoroil and other protecters, you will have major problems when painting.
  18. 15kgs, what type of pipe are you using it must be 10mm thick. My long mild steel pipes would have only weighed 5kg I think, ali is lighter but also transfers heat better, this can be good and bad.
  19. aluminium seems to be about the same price as stainless stuff.
  20. Once youve got it would you mind telling us the price? The only reason I ask is that I am putting the same setup on my 32. I got a HKS T04e for $400, a brand new turbosmart external wastegate for $470 and modified a stock manifold at a cost of $200. The turbo had a crap compressor whell so I got that changed and had the thing rebuit at a cost of $600. So mine has cost under $1700 and is new basically. What is the exhaust A/R, and the whell sizes as these make a difference. Have a good look at the wastgate as these can rust and seize and this is not good. You will need a new dump off the turbo as well as one off the wastegate. The only turbos that will fit the manifold are those with a T04 flange. With you injectors you could make a new rail and use top feed injectors and I have also heard about people drilling them to bigger sizes, may be worth a look.
  21. Mark has raced karts for many years and won numerous state and national titles as well as racing in the CIK series. He won the second Kart Stars series giving him the FF drive. He was always a very good driver in clubman, but didnt stand out as much in CIK with the stickier tyres, Formula Fords need to be thrown around a bit so i think he likes driving like that, done very well for his first season.
  22. not many people do ali mandrel bends, most places only work with dounuts and cut them up. I got some bends done for me but they were a bit thicker than you normally use.
  23. the Microtech does not have closed loop either. Jay, when you fitted the E6K did you use the stock loom or fit the haltech one?
  24. Ivan have you checked you pm's. Let me know about the microtech. The E-11 is supossed to be more expensive then the E6k or am I wrong. At the moment I am steering towards the E6K but need to find some prices.
  25. I am currently putting a T04 on my 32 and try and help you, your turbo probably dosent have a wastegate so you will need an external one, depending on the size of the turbo you may be able to modify the stock exhaust manifold to suit, a wastegate will cost about $650 for a new one and to get the manifold done will be about $400 ( im only guessing on this as i did mine myself on my labour is free). You really need to have the turbo looked at to see if it is worth doing, the one i got was fairly small so it shouldnt be to laggy. You will need a fuel pump, and your injectors will max out after about 220rwkw. The you need some sort of management either a power fc or microtech plug in which rpm does or one of the hundreds of other ECU's.
