  1. I was just asking a question regarding MoTeC, although they are regarded as the best there are not that many people who use them on street cars and therefor not that many that are all that familair with them.

  3. Thanks mate, I have been reading up on them and I know the M800 can do just about anything you want. I probably dont need to go that extreme a M48 would do the job nicley i think, its not a race car just a street car that may d the occasional drag. It should hopefully run all the factory ignition. I was going to get a Haltech but a company we do work for uses them on trucks they convert to gas so I will be able to do some work to get it.
  4. Martin say someone could get a MoTeC for very little which model would you recommend. M48 so you can control the injectors sequential, does the pro have any useful functions on a street car. Any advice appreciated
  5. Sorry Mazman the only reason I will be able to get one really cheap is that our compnay does work for someone who uses them, I can do some work and get it, maybe an M800.

  7. I think the reason you will get a slight decrease in economy with the Microtech is because it dosent run closed loop, this will mean you use more fuel when you are just crusing. Other than that there is nothing bad about them that I have heard.
  8. The turbo on a FJ is a T3 and should bolt to the stock manifold, they have different water and oil fitting i think. They are steel whees and are a a little bigger than a 32 one. I know a DR30 running 12psi and makes 160rwkw.
  9. I have some 17 x 8 Speedy Atix 5 wheels on my 32, they fit without scraping and the car is lowered a little. They are in good condition with 70% tyres, make me an offer.
  10. Those are probably a mechanical LSD, just a bit noisy. The standars ones just wear out after a while.
  11. get some injectors and crank up the boost, you will need the computer done but if its tuned right you should be able to run 20psi. Other mods will just give small gains and cost money, wait a while and do it properly.
  12. Martin, I understand what your saying but I have a full engineering workshop with everthing I need, so for me to that would be too easy. The turbo, wastegate and manifold mods cost me $1700 so about the same as a s/h HKS turbs and all my stuff is like new now. I have already modified the stock plenum already but I was not happy with the stock insides, dont think it would flow evenly. I will use the bottom runners and make a top half, easy. The intrcooler core is only $500 so it is better and cheaper than a GTR. The only reason I want to use the Haltech is it will do a good job and will give me somethink to play with and moniter things. I really just want to try and do something different and learn something other than bolting bits on ( I am doing and Engineering degree at uni).
  13. I have only heard good things about the Haltech, im going to fit one in my 32 soon using the stock loom.

  15. These are more suitable for the steet than a set of tein's, not as stiff but still handles very well.
  16. not really sure on the axle tramp, but it still does it. No reduction in lateral grip.
  17. they just stop the rear subframe from moving, keeps the rear suspension more stable. I can still get axle tramp with them though but you dont loose any grip.

HKS T04e, recod with new comp wheel .6A/R exhaust and comp housing Turbosmart external gate PWR 600 x 300 x 73 cooler 3.5''exhaust 044 pump with GTR injectors New inlet manifold (due to my ability to make myself) Run by Halltech probably Hopeing for about 230-240 @ the wheels, will it work

  20. Would you want to sell your GTR injectors when you get some 550's.
  21. I have a set of height and damper adjustable Nismo coilovers for sale. They fit R33 and R34 GTR, are currently on a R34TT with a spacer plate on the front, it sitts nice and low on the front but if you like it low then they will be fine for a 34tt. Ex Condition with alloy tops. $1400 im in Adelaide

  24. I didnt say he didnt win in CIK i just said he didnt do as well, he kicked arse in Clubman winning everything, not so dominant in CIK thats all.
