  1. If i fit Haltech to my 32 we are just going to wire it in place of the original computer using the factory loom.
  2. The fuel pump has died allready, fitted a 044 so it will be plenty big enough.
  3. sorry I wont be able to make it, I have 2 assignmets that I have to do and I have to work as well, my cars stock so its slow anyway.
  4. GTR? I need GTR ones as the gts ones would be on the limit and need the extra pressure.
  5. the kit for the Haltech is about $1500Aus, but that is with a complete loom and you wouldnt really need that you can just wire it inplace of the stock computer.
  6. How much it it costing to get installed, what features does it have?
  7. Motec and Autronic are top end ecu's and real expensive that are probably not required unless you want mega hp, eg 600hp. Microtec, Wolf are cheaper options, however I am looking at getting a Haltech fitted, these are a little more expensive than the other two but have a few more features and will tune a little better. It really depends on who tunes the system as to how good you car runs and there are so many different ecu's avaliable which everyone recommends something different.
  8. I got a set of pad from Race Brakes, they are a bit cheaper than greenstuff and were a imporvement on ulitmates for not much extra cost. The best bit is they dont make any brake dust, with the ulitmates in a week the wheels would be black, i havent cleaned my wheels for a couple of months(i know im slack) and they are still shiny, they do squell a little at times.
  9. get in touch with www.pwr.com.au they can custom make you a core or complete cooler
  10. Thats what I was thinking, I want to make about 230rwkw so i think GTR injectors will be big enough. I was just trying to find out what others have screwed out of them. You can get about 220 with stock 33 ones and they are a fair bit smaller.
  11. Yeah i know, you can get them for $100 each, cleaned and tested so i was thinking $600 for injectors + $300aprox Z32 AFM + $500 to get computer chipped = $1400 GTR injectors go for $200 a set so for not much more I could change the computer for something else eg Haltech
  12. Im just trying to find out what RWKW is possible from using GTR injectors. Also anyone know what the going rate for a set of six is, considering RX7 550cc ones are about $100 each I hope GTR ones would be a bit cheaper.
  13. there are heps of installers in SA for Haltech, yeah the Motec is probably a little better but is it worth it for the extra $$$, you wont get any more power or drivability, one of the main bonuses in the Motec is its data logging ability but it in not much help on the road.
  14. so you got through by making both rear tail lights work ( i joined mine up as soon as I got it) and with a pod filter?
  15. We have some nismo height adjustable coilovers on our 34tt at the moment, they are to suit a GTR but with a spacer plate at the fromt they fit fine and may be interested in selling them, what type are are you after and price range.
  16. Iam looking for a GTR cooler that has a damaged core, i just want to cut the endtanks off and use them on a new cooler.
  17. www.haltech.com Unsure of you question regarding detonation detection, the ecu kit is about $1500 plus install, i believe RPM installs them and im sure their are others, i know someone who operates by himself who fits them as well.
  18. the apexi TT air fuel ratio maxes out at 20:1 so i wouldnt realy on this.
  19. Motec will do away with the air flow meter, although motec is a really good ecu with many fetures it will cost a heap to fit. Why not look at a cheaper ecu that will still do the job, Haltech is one of the best and has all the fetures you will need and would be alot cheaper than the motec. Iam tossing up whether to get the stock ecu remapped of fit a haltech, this is the only aftermarket ecu i will consider because it is not overpriced and has alot more fetures than the cheaper ones eg closed loop for better fuel consumption.
  20. I dont think you would gain much unless they are real bad bends, you may pick up .2kw i doubt any there would be any real gain.
  21. Dont bother unless you plan on big mods to get over 250rwkw as there would be very little power to be gained, get some decent management first.
  22. since Chris has just got all my go fast bits now my car is stock bar a exhaust so i dont think i will make the dyno day. Wouldnt want to record the lowest power for the day.
  23. What joel meant i think and what I always do is never completely take your foot off the throttle when you are in a slide, just keep it planted and pull through ( thats what I do the skyline just streightens evetually) or slowly back off.
  24. You can get a GT30 500hp with an internal gate that will bolt up to the std manifold im told, aprox $2400. Where are you getting this turbo info from Joel, it all is a bit of a guess unless you really know your stuff or work from experiance. I have no real idea what my turbo is rated at.
  25. Get some offset bushes for the rear upper control arms. You can then fun neutral camber on the back, or even slight positive so when the weight transfers you will have full tyre contact. I am going to get some super sticky brigestone tyres (still road legal) and mount them to 16'' rims with 225's and a low pressure they should give decent grip.
