    Bnr34 Or R35

Second this. I was thinking about the 100k 400R sold couple of years ago and try working out how much will it cost to do something similiar. The cost will be close to 50k itself on top of the 33 GTR price (back then would be like 30k?). So to pay an extra 20k for the "limited" factor and no worries about parts/mods falling apart from human error, its not a bad buy really. 100% Both cars above are fully done up from factory and you dont have to worry about the HKS stroker. That said, if you're gonna throw in a stroker kit, you're better off getting a Vspec. Why waste the money on a limited edition when you're not keeping the "limited" component? If money wasnt a probably, I'll still take the 34 over the 35 any day because the shape of the 35 never really worked for me. And if money really isnt an issue, GT 2 or GT3 for sure. Purpose built and I like the fancy colours they come with!
  3. Good morning people! I feel like I should pay for the drag today.... Its been awhile........
  4. Good Morning! Another day at lovely Bechtel.
  5. No idea. This was 2yrs ago when I got the 18x9.5 TE37. I was actually after 18x10.5 TE37 or LMGT4 but the TE37 needed a couple of months (which I didnt want to wait) and LMGT4 doesnt even have an ETA date (even 9.5). Which is why I end up with these TE37 now. Cost shouldnt be all that hard because what I get quoted is basically what is listed on Ray's website. Just check that and convert to AUD + frieght + agent commission and it should be it. I paid 3.2k for mine when it was 52,000yen (1aud = 75yen?)back then so you can kinda work backwards and see how much the frieght and commission is. 10.5's gonna be slight more expensive too. Easier, email Streeter or similiar exporter to get an actual figure.
  6. Wow. Thats not too bad. I was told apprentices get bugger all.
  7. Erm anyone's got the night view for option 1 loaded yet and also can confirm if it has GPS function (Australia Map)? I'm assuming camera has local warranty too? If every so, I'll be down for option 1. Cheers.
  8. Yea but I was told the LMGT4 were semi discontinued (need decnt number of orders before Rays will make them). And to make things harder, 10.5 are typically a made to order size and even for TE37, they can take awhile since its not off the shelf (typically). Good pick up I'd say. ps: if you've seen my other post, you might want to check how much a new set will cost as I've notice Rays for whatever reason decided to jack up their already very exp rims by another 50%+ (something like 2yrs ago was 52,000yen and now 82,000yen, TE37 18x9.5).
  9. Hmm.... so you're saying the plug wire colour is different to the socket wire colour? WTF is Nissan thinking but if thats the case, shouldnt be too hard to trace. I'll have a look for that and hopefully its the same for the 33 GTR in terms of the colours. Cheers.
  10. Anyone can take a photo of this said "plug"? I am trying to locate it but theres too many!
  11. Car Model? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=bCPYugqJ4D0
  12. You're not very efficient when you type all that to say you're efficient. Still thinking............
  13. You're doing alright whoring this much with 2 jobs man.
  14. WOw. Thats gotta be so comfortable to cruise in. Mine's giving me the shits. Tried changing to a smaller exhaust but it's scrapping the drive shaft for whatever reason. CBF trying to make it fit. Thats about right. Good morning peeps! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/379620-putting-r33-gtr-into-rwd/ Anyone know about this? Putting R33 GTR in RWD by disconnecting a plug. Probably works the same for R34 as well and I think should be similiar to pulling the fuse in the R32. If so, probably be more fun at skidspan! Wag was having so much fun in his 32 after pulling out the fuse and mine just keep trying to "save" me but messing up the torque!
  15. Looking good for the new owner! All shiny
  16. If you mean the Nismo wording on the LMGT4, I wouldnt bother with genuine stuff personally. The last time I enquire about that, you'd need to get them from Rays and they're around 25 or 30 EACH + you need to provide prove of owning a set of LMGT4 (maybe invoice, photos?) before they will sell them to you. This was 2years ago though. I end up getting the decals from Ebay. All you need to do is measure up the existing one you have and send the dimension to the seller that makes a Nismo decal. Less than 10bucks posted.
  17. Good morning! Almost weekend soon!
  18. Was it new to begin with? What went wrong? This is the first I've heard of (coppermix failure) and being not leg friendly....
  19. What kinda labour are we talking about?
  20. I was told 32GTR are actually going up in price... the good ones that is. Good luck!
  21. Right. No worries. I'm more than happy to wait. No rush about it. I just want to know the answer. You'll need a fair bit of km to bed in before we can test it though. Mine bite really nicely (cant really ride it much) when first installed but soon after bed in, it feels like stock. Physical biting point didnt change much though. Quiet clutch new or bedded in too. Sharing is love!
  22. Good morning peeps. Hey Ants, is the twinplate coppermix in your car yet? You mind letting me try it once its bedded in? Or you can try mine and tell me if its any good... It hasnt been giving me problem but I'm just paranoid when so many people keep telling me its too high.... I've got a twinplate coppermix in mine as well and wanna see if I need to adjust the bite point. Currently its very high up (fair bit of free play) and feels like the stock one!
