  1. THe problem is i filled it up and it was sitting a bit above the 3/4 mark. And itts been like that for awhile now. When i checked it today its gone over the full mark? Any reason for this? THe oil is just under 5000kms old. I put little bit less then 5 litres in. And at that time and other times it showed a bit over 3/4. And i did check it when the engine was hot. Im using mobil 1 5w-50w....
  2. If the filter is bigger then the stock one would that make a difference?
  3. Revieved mine as well. Cheers Fatz
  4. hey guys, I was just wondering exactly how much engine oil do i need to put in my skyline. I have a RB25DET R33 using Ryco z145a filters... Does anyone know exact amount i need?? Cheers
  5. i think simon is right. Replacing the seal the best way to go about it. Not to sure where u can get them from over on the east coast... Diff oil make sure you get the LSD oil. I used Castrol in mine.
  6. sounds quite bad over there in the east coast of aussie... only a matter of time before its starts to get worse over here in the west...
  7. +1. Bit sad isnt? Cant seem to drive the car anywhere these days...
  8. Ryco Z145a Filters. ~10$ Mobil 1 5w-50w fully syn. ~68$ Usually dont need to buy the expensive filters as most likely u will change them every 5000kms. But if u want to keep them longer then go for it
  9. Have you checked for camera footage?? ...
  10. erm, thats really up to you. Probably could put a few mls in there but whether it would make a difference i wouldnt know =/ Opinions about the Redline oil is pretty divided. I found that it improved my gearbox, while some people find that it doesnt. It cost me 120$ for 1 gallon. (3.8 litre)
  11. Around the 1.7 litre mark. 2 litres of diff oil will be more then enough. You wil have some left over. =) Hope this helps.
  12. Its just under 3.8 litres. I filled up mine with one US gallon (3.8 litres) of Redline. I had a bit left in the bottle afterwards. So if ur around that amount you should be fine
  13. HKS hipermax D is what ive got... on a R33 though.. im pretty sure they would have them for a R32? Great set of coilovers! =)
  14. i will do the same with my 1.3 bar nismo cap =)
  15. Hey Guys, Was wondering if any of you guys used Tint a Car Unbreakable ?? Or any of tint a car products..? Any Advice? Cheers, Brendan
  16. I would like the answer to that question as well... ive got a nismo 1.3 radiator cap... can i still use this cap ? However i personally dont see any problemw with it. My stock radiator runs better with it on
  17. If you drive the car normally then even if you have a turbo timer you dont need to use it... Its only when you boost the car is when you need to cool down the turbo. Howwever most poeple (Me included) feel more comfortable using the turbo timer. In which case after normal driving 30 seconds is fine. 1 min and 20 seconds is far to long if you just been putting around. Shouldnt matter what turbo you are using... And i think your Greddy turbo timer is moving up cause it has a setting which enables the turbo timer to determine how long your car should be cooled down depending on your REVS. My greddy does the same thing. But as was mentioned before putting it on P-1 or P-2 can let you set the amount of time. I usually have P-1 set at 2 mins and P-2 set at 30 seconds. So depending on my driving ill choose between the two. Hope this helps you out =)
  18. Just break it down... whether u want the rims for performance or style? Colour and what kind of pattern. Something like that might help you make a decision Doesnt really matter what we say as long as you like the rims u got... thats all that matters =) . Im sure u will make a good choice thou! You already made a good choice on Car Make and model!
  19. Buddy Club P1 Racing Evo Wheels (white) 17inch ( 8 + 9 ) off 32 & 37 ( R33 Specification ), 235/45 + 255/40 Tyres... Their the rims im using atm look nice Ill try and upload some pics...
  20. as what was said by Trism the bonnet will get hotter and this may cause the paint on your bonnet to start to bubble..
  21. I agree...most of the workers at these shops dont know what there talking about. I usually get advice from forums (such as this one and other poeple i know) and just simply buy from auto1 or repco and dont ask any questions hahaha saFer that way How did you go btw? Get it fixed? Oh yeah usually the filters are bigger then the orginals because its cheaper to make them that way. Smaller oil filters usually have to have the filter material wound around a few times to make the surface area larger, where as a larger one is just wound around once . Thats what i think anyway
  22. i thought those were only proposed new laws? Meaning they havent been passed yet? Or am i lagging behind in the news.... lol!
  23. hey guys Ive used Ryco as well. Im in Perth but i picked up my Ryco filter from Auto1... high road willeton (Few shops down from repco). THe address is 151 High Road, WILLETON, WA 6155 THey(Ryco) seem to have good reputation behind them and as mentioned before the geninue nissan parts arent what they used to be.... Hope this helps!~ Oh and here is the link to the stores in Perth WA just incase that one i mentioned above is a bit far away... http://www.autoone.com.au/storelocator/Sel...ern%20Australia
