  1. Got a question for anyone... Pk I bought some Zymol Lehm-Klay today and after sussing it out a bit they recomend you use Zymol Lehm-Lube with it..ok heres my dilema, I`m in Japan and the distributor here for Zymol has only imported the clay and not the lube and I`ve got buckleys chance of getting it unless order from o/seas. What I want to know is can I use something else instead of the lube..Anyone got any ideas??
  2. Jap cops carry guns !! Well they do in Hokkadio..talking about cops the cop presence here for the G8 summit is off the richter. Literally all gaijin coming into Chitose airport are being subjected to body and luggage search by plain clothes cops. Theres cops every where here at the moment, sure doesnt feel like friendly japan thats for sure. I nearly ran a cop down tonight. There doing these mass road side stops checking cars and practicing in case of terrorists. I was driving along, lights started to change to red when about 30 cops jumped out into traffic with stop signs..I had to lock up to not run this idiot over. Supposedly they arrested a heap of people related to the akihabara stabbing.. <h1 id="main_title" class="article">Police act in 17 cases of people posting threats since Akihabara rampage</h1> Wednesday 25th June, 06:36 AM JST TOKYO — In the 16 days since the June 8 stabbing rampage in Tokyo’s Akihabara area, police arrested or took other actions against 17 people for posting claims on the Internet including expressing intent to commit mass murders or other crimes, a survey by the National Police Agency showed Tuesday. Subjected to the actions were men and women aged 13-30, according to the agency. Of the 17, the police across Japan arrested 12, while sending papers to prosecutors on or taking other actions against the remaining five on charges such as extortion, interference or misdemeanor. The crime declarations posted by those arrested on the Internet included such messages as ‘‘I would imitate the Akihabara incident’’ and ‘‘I would commit a mass murder that would become history.’’ But on a more important note..... <h1 id="main_title" class="article">18 schoolgirls' swimsuits stolen at primary school in Yamanashi</h1> Thursday 26th June, 10:10 AM JST YAMANASHI — Police on Wednesday said that 18 swimsuits belonging to girls had been stolen at a school in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Schoolgirls’ swimsuits were stolen three years ago at the same school, according to the principal. http://www.japantoday.com/category/crime/v...l-in-yamanashi#

  4. As for the theory that japanese drivers dont flog their cars...absolute bullshit.. Driving home on the xpress way after weekend of racing and was cruising along nicely on about 130kph. Over a 60 km stretch I got passed by 22 cars going a hell of alot faster, absolutely ringing their cars out, with alot of them watching tv..Sunday night and one thing on their mind and in ther sight...GET HOME FAST>> Saw a classic segment last week on some of Hokkaidos Highway/Patrol drivers...they were using a crash simulator..e.g cars ,people ,obstacles popping out in front of em...most of them in accident situation slammed the brakes and took their hands off the wheel and yelled kowaii !!
  5. Whats the body kit on that silver 33??

The car is white and I`m having trouble coming up with a decent choice so was hoping for you guys opinions and pic (if any) on a rim choice. I`ve narrowed it down to 3 but still cant really make a definite choice as what will suit the car..any opinions greatly appreciated.. 3 choices I have are these....was thinking chrome! 1: http://www.enkei.co.jp/jp/products/wheels/...ine/index.html# 2: http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel...elT6/index.html 3: http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel...elT7/index.html

  10. Akeenan...they`ve got 1000`s of police up here practicing for the summit..Its that Japanese over kill but its a bit of a suprise. I usually drive everyday about 50-100 k`s and only see the odd patrol but they are like an ant swarm at the mo. Was at Sapporo Yosakoi on the sunday and there was a cop every 50 metres over about 2 k`s of Odori koen.. Even my japanese mates reckon its off the show but they`re response ..shoga bloody nai!
  11. No probs on the link M3..as for the iza I reckon you`d go broke off the nomi/tabi hodais..I know when I go I drink a bucketload.. Aussies at home would think all their xmas`s came at once..You`d be packed for sure...you`d do a roaring trade with the breweries
  12. Just in case you dont know and wanna BBQ.. http://www.themeatguy.jp/homee.php
  13. Sweet I repent...take the apology back..Gaijin with good ping pong are the worst type...me included...honestly I dont have much interaction with gaijin, been working, living and playing with the japanese and alot of work has been ...well..lets say I`ve seen a real different side of japan than majority of foreigners... On a different note..with the G8 summit just around the corner the cop presence in hokkaido is off the show...got pulled over twice today and ahd my car searched, shaken checked the whole bizzo..I know 3 other friends (japanese) who had the same treatment and its all over the place..Theres bus loads of them all over the shop, never seen anything like it in Japan.
  14. Sweet bloke..misunderstood..
  15. Just Wait!
  16. Akeenan..you sound like your one of those knob jockeys from GaijinWankerPot..bloke I dont need to justify my many many years in Japan..you should be carefull with your sarcasm...cant be bothered with you
  17. What about soup curry..supposedly the Japanese invented it..wells thats what they keep saying.. Japanese yaki niku is heaps different from Korean..its Korean style BBQ...trust me, my misso's Korean and I've had both and real different..Korean style suaces are real hot....but hey you cant beat a 120 min all you can eat and drink yaki niku for 2500 yen..I love nomi tabi hodai!! Baron...classic Jingis kan in Hokkaido is the Kirin Brewery in Sapporo...nomi tabi..bloody delicious and the beers good too!
  18. Cheers Baron...honestly though the difference between clutches is massive. Mind you theres good chance they screwed up with the install of the ATS but the Nismo is just so sweet to drive...gear changes are so much smoother..Will see how it goes on the track in a couple of weeks. Cant tell what its like with power but so far over the moon with it ..touch wood. The boys wouldnt admit a mistake but did the install for free, so cant complain that much..
  19. Favourites! Japanese BBQ`s....Beer,Meat,Beer,Meat! Jingis Kan....Lamb..Hokkaido`s famous..like Yaki niku but lamb..bloody delicious Shika...= deer..absolutely delicious.. Worst was Bear..bloody putrid..it was canned bear..delicacy up my way!
  20. Picked up my car today from my tuner and gotta say the nismo twin suoer coppermix is a dream to drive, smooth as silk and no noise. Bloody stoked but have to run the bugger in before giving it some stick which is a bummer as theres definitely some more HP after a few tweaks and mods have done. But all I can say is I wish I bought the Nismo first off, sweet as to drive and real sweet on the drive line..Should be run in for track work on the 22nd..cant wait.
  21. He"s Japanese..Koreans and Chinese do all the dodgy stuff like sly ketais for the Yakuza...mind you the Koreans are way ahead of the Chinese in the black trade, alot of them have clubs plus their mafia group is run pretty well. They've been doing business with the Yakuza for along time. We recently had a Nepalese go nuclear up here in Niseko ,Hokkaido.. bashed his japanese wifes head in with a hammer, then threw his 6 month old baby in the river. Although this nutter in Akiharaba has made world headlines , the japanese are daily topping themselves off and usually a week doesnt go by that someone gets murdered, just watch and read the japanese news. It aint as safe as its cracked up as but pretty damn safe compared to Oz.
  22. Or the psycho lady in the lift I got into yesterday who was screaming at the wall then did a fruit loop at me....when the go pop they usually wanna take a few with them but hows how they never die..Been a few gone off this year..The young nutter who pushed the guy off the train platform .....
  23. i think you blokes should come up to Hokkadido for a drive... M3...it wasnt winter at the time and I threw the keys as far as I could. Cops classed it as assault.
