  1. Hey 31 GUN, were you in a clean white 31 coupe?
  2. There's a good chance that I'll be coming along with my cousin Blukie (Michael), but not sure what day or time. Count us as two: Blukie GoldZilla (me, Nick T) Cheers, Nick T
  3. That sucks dude, I'll keep an eye out in and around Parra and post or PM if I see it and/or make a call to the cops...

    wtf??

hehehehe - someone bought it! I hope they have the decency to take that wing off - the world has more than enough "Pram Handles"
  5. Primo, I put a post up recently in regards to this, because according to what I found it's still eligible - it's just a matter of finding a compliancer with RAWS certification. Here's the link... If you actually click on the number in the left-hand column, it shows which versions of each car are eligible (unless I'm reading it wrong). I've emailed you in the past regarding this, but it was way before RAWS came into full effect, so if you can find out more I'd also be keen to hear about it too! Cheers, Nick
  6. Hhmmm, having been to Perth a few times, that Bikini car wash is another reason to move over there (or spend more time there). Might have to hire a lush car next time I'm there to thrash around in (or make friends with Perth Skyline owners and/or forum members). There's really nice open roads, everything around the metro area is LITERALLY within roughly 20mins drive, nice (ney, gorgeous) women and lots of them, I need to go and check out their track (the Kwinana Motorplex) and go back to the Cottesloe Hotel for Drinks on a Sunday arvo (as good as a day at SOS @ the Greenwood). Nick T
  7. Me too!!! Plus I'm still trying to get my sh!t together so I can actually buy a Skyline - no use going on cruises until I can at least keep up with you all when you're all pushing your cars at 3/4 of their potential. Skyline vs. Corolla isn't much fun for me, but I should be able to balance the scales a bit better soon when the Corolla makes way for an R-32. Nick T

  9. ae86, that looks Mint! GT-R bonnet and grille, in what happens to be my favourite colour: (British) Racing Green!!! Exactly how I think I'll modify mine if/when I manage to get my hands on one... Thanks everyone for all your responses! Keep 'em coming.
  10. Hey people, According to the latest SEVS rulings, the four-door R-32 is still eligible for import... Does anyone know who may have gone to the trouble and expense of getting SEVS/RAWS compliance rights for these cars? I've recently been told that someone is interested in buying my car off me, so I think if I can scratch and scrape some money together it may be time to bite the bullet and get my dream car (or at least one on my very long list). Any help and/or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers, Nick T

  13. Drivebai, I just sent you a PM...
  14. Oh yeah, and they're pretty good quality too!
  15. Drivebai, I've got it all burnt to CD-R's - Stage 1 & 2 (i.e. the first and second series) and Stage 3 (the movie). They can be found on Kazaa if you do a search, but I'd only recommend using a broadband connection to download them. Or you could leave your PC on and connected overnight, etc. if you're really keen. I work in Parra and live only about 10-15mins from there, so if you want them we can probably arrange something... Nick T
  16. Hookers on a spit!?!?!?!?!? Oh, umm, that's not right, is it? How about mini-cruise, a lunch BBQ somewhere in/near town, then SOS @ the Greenwood to cap off the weekend!
  17. Dude, wish I could remember (for my own sake)! She was ever-so-slightly better looking than Rebecca too, I remember that!!! I could probably still *obtain* her details (amongst many others), but I can't remember her name anyway - and I run the risk of getting the sack. I'm too busy in my constant struggle to keep some semblance of sanity (however small), anyway! Not to mention the work that keeps strangely appearing on my desk - God only knows where from...
  18. Seriously, these people who drive at night with no lights on must also guess their speed because surely if you looked at your dashboard and couldn't read the instruments, you'd figure it out - what gives, I don't get it?
  19. Hey, I thought I served Rebecca Cartwright once while I was working at the Medicare office in Castle Hill during the Olympics... Turns out it was her slightly older sister - who just happens to be almost a splitting image!!! Turns out they (or she) lives in that area (or used to). Stupid me - I knew I recognised her from somewhere but couldn't figure out where from until much later. Stupid me (x2) - because I couldn't figure out if she was flirting with me or she knew that I kinda recognised her 'cos of the similairty of looks between her and 'Bec. Oh well, too late now... Turns out it was a good thing to be the only guy working there at the time, with all the honeys and young MILF in the area. Either way, if it's Tammin, 'Bec or her sister: :Pres-hit:
  20. Looks good fatz, you should take a pic of the whole side of the car (or both), or at least a wheelbase-length shot so we can see what it looks like!!!
  21. B-Man, you're probably thinking of the Kakimoto kits - you need 10" wide rims to even START to fill out those guards... Definitely not my style. Although if you're keen I think Skyline Imports in Qld do them - not cheap tho. Subtle agression is the way I'd go!
  22. I did I bit of calling around today for tyres for my Corolla (it's due for rego in a few weeks) and after making about 8 calls in and around the Parramatta area, I found either Mathews Tyre Service (in Seven Hills) or Baulkham Hills Tyre King are the go... Mathews offered me a choice of 5 brands at $110 a corner (either Goodyear, Yokohama, Dunlop, Toyo or Pirelli) and Baulko Tyre King offered me Falkens for $95. These are prices for 195/50/15's, and admittedly I didn't get all the exact models of each tyre to make complete comparisons, but it's a decent guide considering I'm not gonna compete in any track days (not in this car, anyway...).
  23. MMMMmmmmmm 32 four-doors... I've seen a blue 32 four-door too, and considering I live about 10mins from Parra, it may have been the same one! Definitely the nicest colour I've seen on ANY Skyline, it's kinda got a tinge of grey in it like the colour they initially released on the Monaro and now available on all Commonbores (I think). Dammit, I wonder if I'lll still be able to source one after May 8th - i seriously doubt it unfortunately...
  24. It's... ummm... kinda scary actually! But I like it, regardless! Thanks, franks Nick T.
  25. Moanie, Airzone: I think the one you're both talking about is the one in North Parramatta, as far as I know that's the only one on Pennant Hills Rd until you get a lot closer to (or past) Pennant Hills. Raider: The one on Carlingford Rd near Epping West Primary school is a bit annoying because I'm usually accelerating away from the (almost always red) lights or trying to maintain speed so I don't have to drop down a gear. It also doesn't help that they don't actually tell you what the regular (out of school hours) speed limit is, and the limit changes a few times between Carlingford and Epping. Don't you all think that if they're gonna have variable speed limit cameras, then they should have the variable speed road signs so you don't have to wonder what speed you should be trying to maintain at that particular time of day? Looking away from the road to check the time on your watch or dashboard is the last thing you should have to do when you're in the vicinity of unpredictable kids. I think it's kinda strange that they have those variable signs on the two places where you'd never really expect to have them - along the M2 and M4. I've never ever seen the signs change on these two stretches, regardless of the weather and/or traffic conditions I've been travelling through on them. Oh yeah, they had those "You're travelling at ?? km/h" signs out the front of three schools in my area on a trial basis. They display your instantaneous speed, which is a great idea. There was only three things wrong with this: 1. They only faced one way and therefore only read about half of the traffic travelling past them; 2. They only had them there for about two weeks (I'm sure about 95% of the people who drive through there would have already forgotten they were there in the first place); and 3. The road is (to this day) in a shocking state, with uneven patches where they've tried to make repairs, and holes and ruts which they still haven't bothered about. It's one thing to have revenue coming in from the occasional car-mounted or hand-held speed cameras they have in the area once in a blue moon (not to mention what they already get from fixed cameras), but whether travelling fast or slow, your tyres have to be able to make contact with the road properly if you've gotta stop in a hurry...
