  1. Nah - unfortunately, Raf and Alex, I won't be able to make it. Got a birthday party to attend that afternoon/night and if I come along I won't be back in time to help in the set-up. There is a March cruise coming up though (details to be posted soon), and I should be able to make that one, depending on how many birthday parties are set up between now and then (mine and at least 5 other friends are all in March)...
  2. I'm going to look up how much those trestle tables were - we've used them previously at the second-last SnS, and they were strong and sturdy. IIRC they were pretty cheap, so I'll see if they're still available and if pricing has changed much, just in case no-one can donate one.
  3. Ohhhhh-tay!!!
  4. I'm pretty certain that the M2 is heavily patrolled by unmarked cars, and I do occasionally see marked cars on there too. This is especially so for the section between Windsor Road and the Abbott Road exit/start of the M7, because the speed limit drops from 100km/h to 90km/h (for no apparent reason that I can fathom).
  5. LOL! Where have you been hiding, PJ?
  6. Went down to Cronulla in mine tonight and didn't spot a single one - just my luck, hey???
  7. LOL, there you go Adam, I was gonna link back to that same thread myself because I member posting that photo up.
  8. Check this guy's videos out, I'm loving what he does: http://vimeo.com/user3410040
  9. Welcome to the Stagea family, Steve, and SAU in general! Nice buy!
  10. Mid-March suits me fine too - you can all contribute to buy me a manual M35 Axis S for my birthday, thanks!
  11. Hmmm, indeed, this thread has gone long enough. If you haven't already noticed, no-one thinks you're "cool" if you STILL want to flout the laws (or pretend they don't exist or apply to you) by choosing to drive a turbocharged or otherwise restricted car while you're on your P's. Why is that so hard to understand?
  12. Good interview Eric, you represented the club very well!
  13. He's holidaying in Japan, Sidd.
  14. Meh, here's one with a lot of exposure compensation, fill light and some saturation done in PP using Lightroom.
  15. Thanks for the comments on the lizard shots, guys! Man, only one of my shots from that shoot on Sunday night turned out well, so here it is: Most of my other ones were underexposed and/or blurry, and at the moment I really CBF working to bring them back to something worth posting.
  16. Hey Dennis, long time since I've seen you on the forums. If you don't mind waiting, the new 600D has just been announced to replace the 550D, and it has the rotating fold-out screen, which can be handy on occasion. Not sure on release dates yet, but it's already showing on the Canon Australia website, so it can't be too far off.
  17. Yep, Redline Shockproof is what I have in my gearbox too. It's not cheap, but it does make the gearshift smoother, especially when you first jump in the car and all the oils are still cold.
  18. I'm pretty sure this is covered if you read the whole thread, but the front guards (whether you use GTR or GTt) are COMPLETELY different.
  19. Spotted a dark purple R33 GTSt this afternoon rolling through Toongabbie. Spotted it turning onto the railway overpass bridge, then turning right onto Fitzwilliam Road at the roundabout.
  20. Say "gimme R34 GTt PowerFC with Secret Squirrel tweak, kthnx!"
  21. This afternoon I spotted a white s1 C34 at SSS Automotive in Girraween.
  22. Well, I finally bought some engine oil for mine, and am thinking of buying one of those Fumoto sump plug drains to make life even easier again! I've already got an oil filter relocation kit, so that helps!
  23. Ahh, triple dual-throat Weber carbies - that thing would sound awesome, Chuckie!
  24. I forgot to mention I saw a wine red M35 ARX parked in Church Street, Parramatta on Wednesday arvo roughly around 2pm, near the corner where the big Holden dealership used to be (either Lansdowne Street or Early Street, can't remember exactly).
  25. Here's one I took earlier this week - only just got a chance to get it off the camera. The only processing was a slight bump of exposure and saturation in Lightroom, no other cropping or processing. I got 5 shots of this little Blue Tongue Lizard before it took off, but this was the only one in focus, unfortunately. It was just under a foot long.
