  1. Oh really? I'll fix the link now!
  2. Click the link in my sig; download, fill out and send in the form; credit some money into the SAU-NSW account, and wait for the awesomeness!
  3. I love my LOLvo. Oh, that device also reads blood oxygen levels. And needles suck, I agree. It's an unfortunate constant in my life as I have monthly blood tests. Meh. Ever had a blood gasses test? They REALLY, TRULY are f*cked if the doctor doesn't get it right.
  4. Peoples, as far as I know there's no plans for an official SAU-NSW Putty Road cruise as yet, but there's nothing stopping you from setting up a cruise yourselves and making it happen. As long as everyone on the cruise behaves themselves and doesn't bring disrepute to the club, go out there and enjoy yourselves! Just make sure none of you do anything stupid, it is a public road after all. Even better: bring your car along to one of the skid-pan or track days we'll be running in the new year - that way you KNOW you won't be risking your licence or people's lives! Check the calendar for details.
  5. I'm pretty certain that the wagon versions of the Ferrari and Lambo were commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei many, many moons ago, when he was mega, MEGA-loaded with cash. He had a ridiculously large garage of exotic cars, and could afford to have these wagons (and many more) custom-made directly by the factories themselves.
  6. Basic answers: Cargo space is great, as already pointed out, and yes, the seats fold flat; if you want AWD and auto, then an RS-Four is the go; October 1998 onwards was a series 2 C34, so they all have RB25DET Neo engines (same as R34) - 206kW @ 6400rpm, 333Nm @ 3200rpm; AFAIK, there's no standard factory cruise control, so aftermarket would be the best bet; mechanical problems should be fairly rare, but just make sure it's had (and always will have) decent fluids, regular servicing, and make sure the timing belt has been changed; the car has two front airbags as standard, and I don't think I've seen any C34's with side airbags; ABS is standard, but traction control isn't (unless that was exclusive to s2's) - it's AWD anyway, so you wouldn't really need it; insurance is something only you can find out about - everyone is different in this regard, so it's best to make your own enquiries and see what you can get; oh, and HICAS was only fitted to factory manual Stageas, none of the autos had it. Have a look at the Buyer's Guide I wrote up ages ago: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/92065-buyers-guide-the-nissan-c34-stagea/ Good luck with the search - you'll definitely love being a Stagea owner!
  7. Happy birthday dude!
  8. LOL, it was because it was set to "Moderate" instead of "Safe." I fixed that and it worked. Nissan Stagea - NSFW due to epic awesomeness!
  9. Speaking of awesome steaks, if/when any of you are in Sydney (or the Gold Coast), you should definitely check out Ribs and Rumps. And speaking of Little Creatures, I've gotta get myself back to Perth soon - spent a NYE there once many moons ago, and it was awesome! I'd also like to sample a few feeds in and around Northbridge, if it's still worth doing that.
  10. Might be heading out to watch, not sure yet...
  11. Agreed! Assuming you have any control over this Christian, can you make an option where we can at least close or reduce the advert back to its original size so it doesn't get in the way. It's especially annoying when you're looking at the list of topics and you can't click on the first one because the ad is blocking it.
  12. That is awesome! Nice shots of the LOLvos, Jay - it is clear you agree that the world needs more Stagea awesomeness!
  13. I can't dude, I'm not a mod for this section... Shan, can you help? I'm trying to get one of my photos from my flickr account added to the group, but it won't allow me to do it. I get this message:
  14. LOL, I saw a news article the other day about someone decorating a marijuana tree with Christmas decorations. http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/1208/germany_christmas.html
  15. Oh hi Charlie! Long time no see!
  16. Yavuz @ Unigroup is awesome, and very down-to-earth, as I'm sure you'd have found. From my own experience, he is always honest, won't screw you around, will commit time-wise to get your car sorted within the time he says he will (and will be honest and not leave you hanging if he can't do it in time), and WON'T add parts to your car without consulting you first. I've dealt with other workshops who could learn a lot from Yavuz in regards to all of these issues.
  17. Agreed with Chuckie - you all know that I don't have to moderate this area much because you all do the right thing 99% of the time, so let's do the same here, please! Car chat about modifications to your cars (and the occasional shit-stir about those mods) is fine, but let's keep the rest of the chat to the right thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/342557-this-is-the-new-recipe-chat-thread/
  18. LOL, wrong thread, dude. You want this one: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/240674-newcastle-and-central-coast-skyline-spotted-thread/
  19. Spotted Doof's white car leaving on its way back home today on the back of a flat-bed towie. Here's hoping it's gonna be back on the road (or track) soon now that he has it to work on it.
  20. WANT!!! PM sent...
  21. You did say R33 NA, right? That will half your problems right there - no BOV, intercooler or turbo to worry about! Get another muffler fitted, get the exhaust shop to test it before you hand any money over (make sure you've let them know what you want when you leave it with them, obviously) and take it for the inspection or whatever they've asked you to do.
  22. The Wrap-Up thread is HERE... Tell us your thoughts, post your photos, etc.
  23. I know I had an awesome night. As Steve-O said, please give us your thoughts, post your photos up, etc.
  24. Spotted a white C34 today parked on Darling St/Balmain Rd in Rozelle. Saw it around 6pm.
  25. Chris, what Andrew means is that Pickles have tagged it as an auto in their listing. I guess they're either blind or working on the general assumption that all C34s were autos.
