  1. Yep, the Ryco Z200 is the one next to the engine... I changed mine on Saturday, and yes the lines are a bit tight on it, but it only took 5 mins.... Very easy to do!
  2. sure someone hasnt fiddled with the controller? check it settings
  3. just put a set of DBA street series slotted rotors on the rear of my r33 with a set of ferodo XL pads... awesome braking now they are run in...
  4. Thanks Blind-Elk... I fitted my new set of Ferodo XLs and DBA slotted rotors on friday night! Freakin awesome now they're bedded in! Silly me hasn't upgraded the front yet and they were beginning to lock up under hard braking! I think I might need to get the front done asap...
  5. I love the fact that that a guy with the initial thought that he would high mount a stock turbo thinks he has the skill / money to turbo his ride on with a custom cooler!!! ahahaha
  6. did you model the lights on your balls??? Crazy f*!ker.... nice.
  7. Isn't the bigger question, why did you buy 20" rims???
  8. Thanks... So that'll fit no worries? Nothing to trim etc...?
  9. OK, after looking at the QFM website, talking to them and checking out the Bendix site: Am I correct in thinking that the R32; 33; 34 GTR Brembo Caliper Variant pad would suit the ass end of my r33? so lost
  10. The prudent thing to do in a car which has a questionable service history is to bite the bullet and change them! I had a friend who took the previous owners word regarding servicing, in particular the timing belt, and he ended up with a busted engine from a stuffed timing belt.... Cheaper to change the belt than the engine!
  11. Been searching for a while now to no end... I need to replace my rear pads on my s2 r33 GTST. I have the new rotors but I cannot find a PN for bendix ultimates, nor any other pad... I would like to get some so I can replace them on the weekend... Any PNs would be muchly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Thomas
  12. Awesome job, not matter what the nay-sayers bring to the forum. Stop reading if it kills the fun out of playing with cars, just go and play with more of them instead...
  13. +1 for not having the solenoid hooked up correctly
  14. I have a Trust PEII and I wouldnt say its restrictive. I make good power and it made a large difference when I put it on from stock. Add to the fact that I have driven almost 60,000km with it on in the past 12 months with no defects and no cops giving me greif about it when I get pulled in for rbt's etc I would have to say its an awesome exhaust!
  15. Christ! As the owner of several old school minis, this makes me want to cry
  16. get a highflow... I run 230rwkw with a GCG highflow and if I got some injectors i'd be able to push 245rwkw without the monster lag issues you guys are talking about! I'm on full 15psi by about 3200rpm. Plus, you can keep you standard oil and water lines... Keep it looking factory for when the poo poo pull you over.
  17. Check out some of the sellers on the site!
  18. when you got it rebuilt, was the mains checked for straightness??? as in was it line bored???
  19. What sort of condition is the center console (around gearstick) in? If good I'd be interested. PM me with price and shipping to 2571
  20. i've been pulled over 3 times now for RBTs, not including being pulled into bays... Have a lovely FMIC, trust PE2 exhaust and rims. First time I hadn't changed the cars rego into my name (thought I had), and the officer gave me a warning, did a pod and BOV check and listened to my exhaust and let me go... Second time they just gave me the RBT, last time RBT bit of a chat, checked for BOV and pod and listened to the exhaust... Never had a drama. I thought I would have been cannaried by now for the front mount and exhuast at least as I've had them for year and a bit and regularly drive through Campbelltown in the early evening... But I'm never a smart arse, always have my license waiting when they arrive at the window, ask the officer how their night is going and go with the flow... That being said, I'm shit scared when i get pulled over these days, too many stories about people being done for "no reason." I drive really carefully in the Skyline and I think thats why I dont get hassled...
  21. that'd be your injectors I'd say.... ticking as they open and close
  22. Unleashing a SOME of a car's potential doesnt mean that your behaving irresponsibly... Could mean your taking corners faster then you do when driving to work, enjoying the feeling of some G's on you... That being said, fully agree that "feeling pumped to unleash some of the car's potential" probably means that something irresponsible will occur.... So when is this awesome putty road cruise going to happen????
