Always a better idea to change the oil more frequently then less so. I always change my oil and filter every 5000km. Specially considering my engine has over 100,000km on it and i'm ever increasing the power output...

can one presume that having that sticker on your car means that the coppers arent interested in defecting you? Only for being really bad?

Make sure you wash your hands before you eat very thoroughly! Been there, done that, itchy as hell mouth for days... hard to scratch in there as well

I have the emanage and it works really well for me. Considering the mods you have, it would work great for you as well... That being said, so would a PFC, but the Emanage is considerably cheaper and easier to install... Less tuners know them though.

June 14th Cruise Krispy Kremes - Nasho - Wollongong

Hmmm..... Nice to know your in for it. I'm pretty certain they aren't any fixed speed cameras on the way down. I lie, there is one on the road into Wollongong, but i'll let you know. That being said, when we drove the route the other Friday night there was one of the radar cars sitting on the side of the road before you enter the national park. But, no need to worry because we wont be speeding aye! -
I watched one of the mechanics where i used to work fix a similar issue. Step one: find the appropriate tap for the thread. Step two: smother the tap and thread in the head in thick grease. Step three: gently clean the thread by running the tap through. Step four: using ear cleaners, clean the thread out and make sure its clean. He then did something I thought could be useful in all sorts of circumstances.... He had a small vaccum line (like the ones all over the engine bay). He tapped it up to the end of a vaccum cleaner and then proceeded to vaccum the cylinder out... Step Five: Vaccum the cylinder out! The car that i watched it on went fine... and the plug threaded in nice and easy.

Front Number Plate Relocation Kit
nuclear_skyline replied to GALLA_4's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
hmmm..... Copper sitting besides the highway looking out for hoons in imports spots a skyline doing 110km/hr. Thinks 'good boy!' Wait a minute, no number plate showing on the front? So he pulls you over, sees you have a device that tampers with your numplate and defects your car! Woot, all for another 1% airflow! I believe they can hand out worse fines and things for not having visible plates as well. -

Installing Hks Hypermax Coilovers
nuclear_skyline replied to SCR34M's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
If you dont have piping yet for the cooler, can you mount it in a manner that means you wont have to cut the front member? Big pain in the arse if your defected for it, and its always nicer when things fit without the need for an angle grinder. -

How Many Of You Have Licked The Stick?
nuclear_skyline replied to nuclear_skyline's topic in New South Wales
The fact that the test isnt accurate not what I was saying. Dont know anyting about that, but i'm sure its not. Driving home stoned or drunk aint a smart idea, its dangerous. I'm not a saint behind the wheel, and never claimed to be one. Do i speed in school zones? Hell no, kids can dart out in an instant. Do i do 120km/hr on the highway, sure i do... Do i drive home drunk, or under the influence of anything other drug? Hell no, because it impairs judgement, and maybe then i would do something un-saint-like and cause someone injury, well at least the chance of it happening increases... Like anything though, you pay your money you take your chances. -
Anyone up for anything tonight???

How Many Of You Have Licked The Stick?
nuclear_skyline replied to nuclear_skyline's topic in New South Wales
Well you've just increased everyones respect for you... Admitting to driving under the influence of drugs aye? I think the testing is a great idea, much in the same way a RBT is a good idea. As long as it doesnt turn into a random defect bay for us, I think it can only do good things for society.
