    I have a stock box sitting in the garage, Marko. It'll go in within the next couple weeks. It'll be interesting with the shorter ratios compared to the OS set.

    Tomei 1.9 - 2.1 thou as on the spec sheet. My last engine had 2 thou piston to bore and was fine.

    MAY not be, but if I be nice to it, it may last a few years, I which time I can save for what will eventually go into it. Car has only done 3 kms this year. Need to get back to driving it .

    They're not the same box. The gtr version, the gears are not as wide.The getrag with 4.11's will be silly short, but I have a source for 3.545 diff gears. Talking to the guys that have the same grunt, give or take, they have said the boxes hold up. IF it does pop, the PPG dog set will go in. Ratios to die for.

    The rubber band.Yeah. I know HKS say on their vcam the belt needs to be changed every 10,000 kms. Being a jap cam it would be soft as a pensioners turd but the acceleration (and load on the belt as the intake cam retards with revs) would be significant.

    How fasts the valve accelerates and decelerates. You need a firmer spring to keen the bucket on the lobe... That causes wear. Who cares! Change them when they wear. Give me powah!!!

    I know the rules . I'll try not pop the box I mentioned your cam to Yavuz today, he pricked his ears up. "Yep, on the right track. Big duration on RB heads just don't seem to give the rewards". Have you got the specs on the lobe? I'll take them out to him and compare them to mine.

    Any idea what twin it is? The Nismo twins have a high friction point so it could be one if them.

    Good luck . As for the box, you'll start to realise there is a "gap" in the market. OS set, maybe, but a few guys on here have busted them with sub 500 kw atw, let alone the 5 million you're gonna make with that thing! Whatever the direction, it's $$$ and lots of it! The 1-4 PPG helical dog set is prob the cheapest way out.
