  1. Rightio. Bit of an update. At 19 PSI (boost controller turned off) it's best run was 417 rwkw at 7400 RPM . That stupid missfire is still there. A few theories floating around at the moment. A dud valve spring or injectors (although AFR's are holding true even when its doing its silly noise). Yavuz did make the comment of "there is so much left in this". We turned the controller on to do a few tests. 26 PSI was all in by 4300 RPM. I did see 375 rwkw by 5000 RPM (at 23 PSI I think) which is pretty close to my goal of 400rwkw by 5K! Yavuz did say we are looking at 440-450 rwkw. Considering cams have not been touched yet, it's looking promising. Also. I switched across to an ECU called "Blackbox". Unigroup run this in their Racecar. Its been made into a plug-in version for our cars. I only ditched the link because I ran out of input's on the Link. Ethanol Content sensor's, Oil pressure, fuel pressure, wideband blah blah. Yavuz made me jump in the seat and have a play with the throttle. It's so bloody touchy! I noticed this change going from Power FC to the Link, but it's that again.
  2. Tomei pump IS NOT spline driven. God knows where this rumour has come from. It still has two flat area's just like every other RB pump on the market.

  4. I am too! HURRY UP FARKEN!!!!Just ordered at Nismo GT PRO diff centre to go into the rear. It was either that or a Quaife. That'll stop the single peggers which have started since putting the front Quaife unit in!!!

  6. What wheels specifically? A R34 GTR rim won't really work as any small stone that gets caught between the caliper and wheel will get caught for example.

  13. It's funny that in RH9's case the peak torque was slightly less at the same RPM when the runners are longer and 2 mm smaller. I know years ago, Yavuz spun mine to 9000 RPM and power held flat. It didn't really "nose over" as such. Hmm..

  15. Have used AutoGlym. It's watery garbage. Try http://www.poorboysworld.com/. Depending how how bad the swirl marks are use http://www.poorboysworld.com/professional-polish.htm if they are light or if you need a bit more ommph use the http://www.poorboysworld.com/pro-polish-2.htm followed by the first product I listed. Seal it then wax it. Great stuff that poorboys gear is.

  18. Oil pump decided it would break up into 9 pieces. No oil pressure. Ex cam welded itself to the cam caps, pistons hit valves... errr!
  19. Isn't it funny. The V spec was the more expensive car but in the end you rip out everything that made it a V spec to begin with! Argh... Quaife or Nismo 1.5 way. :\
