  1. Joey, seeing that it was Yavuz'a first go it was done a bit cheaper... It's not like they're 'start fresh maps'. I can't give a dollar figure. Too long ago.
  2. Link G4 plug in. However, Autronic SM4 and the Haltechs (not sure if it's model specific) can do it too. I'd assume the Motec's can too but tr amount of people running these are next to none. Is this going on a GTR? If so, by the time you buy the FC and AFM's you're a few hundred $ below a G4 anyway. It's a no brainer
  3. Place the power FC in the bin and buy a ECU that can accept an Ethanol Content Sensor. Most if not all decent ECU's will do it. ECU alone, it cost roughly $700 for the hardware (lines, sensor, display, fittings). You then have the dyno time (which is where the money is). My own car, I think we had 7 different maps which and it adjusted to suit. No laptops, no plugging this in and checking that, just fill and go! We started off with a E85 map and kept adding petrol. Every 15% of ethanol we would save a map.
  4. You sound like a broken record. Why don't you finish your car so we can all see what this 'big displacement skyline can do'. FFS!
  5. Nick, I don't know man. I said 6 weeks... 6 weeks ago. Can't be too much longer. I've lost a little motivation at the moment but I'm sure that will change when the engine is 2 meters in the air!
  6. Just waiting in the engine now. Can't do much without it. Won't take long once I get that sucker back!
  7. Do an oil change? Racepace return their oil to sumps.... It can't be that bad as their failure rate doesn't seem that high at all.
  8. Do a search. I myself made a pretty detailed thread about it. "new RB parts with results" or something.
  9. Nice box Andrew .
  10. Hornsby are open till 12 on Saturday. Parramatta I think are open Saturday morning also.
  11. For the love of god Ash, don't go onto the pommie site. Had one guy the other day '550-600 HP "at the fly" when he hadn't even stuck it on a dyno. You will have a heart attack and die I'm sure of it.
  12. Intake was quite hard advanced, something like + 10 or so degrees, exhaust was -1 I think. That was setup for GT-RS's. When I went to -5's we didn't touch them.
  13. LOL. You guise! I wasn't talking about me. I'm sure the Link could be setup like that, I was talking about PFC users.
  14. Well lets say you set the "Hard cut" at 8600 RPM, and you start pulling timing from 8300 RPM but aim to change gears at 8000 RPM it won't make a difference as you're never in that bit of the map anyway. If you do find yourself up there, the car will feel sluggish, so you change gears.
  15. You don't sound like a sick uhleh smashing the limiter?
  16. Not sure, but we are getting all the cams measured up and plotted on paper. I'll post that sheet when I get it. I need the engine back so I can do anything
  17. Another option is to pull a whole heap of timing out a few hundred RPM before the cut. That way if you do it it, it's not 'as hard'. Oorrr just don't be a muppet and avoid it anyway.
  18. Not the day I was at yours man. It was still a lag wagon back then. I had bought them, they were sitting in my room.
