  1. What's the setup/how much power are you after? Are you having ignition troubles ATM? I had the Twin Spark on my car, ditched it and I'm now running a box which replaces the OEM ignitor.
  2. What a prick tease that was! Standing there watching skids and slides!!! Bring on the next one . LukeGTR. Have you checked your engine mounts lately? That might have something to do with your hose popping bizzo!
  3. Second hand? They're like $300. Why bother!
  4. Typical gtst response.
  5. What if you want to drive to Melbourne from Sydney? What's the point of having a content sensor if you're not going to go the whole way?
  6. Just had a quick look. The GTR versions have the 2.5 Bar MAP sensor on board. My mistake!
  7. It's not just 2 tunes. You don't just do one for E85 and one for 98. We did 6 or 7 tunes. E85, E70, E50, E30, E15 and 98 or there abouts. Started off on E85 and just kept modifying the one above it as we went down in E %.
  8. Yes. From memory it just wires into one of your inputs on the ECU.
  9. 2.5 absolute, so 1.5 bar or 22 psi of boost.
  10. Link $1650 MAP sensor $200 (if needed) Sensor, loom and display $650 ish Few fittings and lines for the sensor... $70 or so? TOTAL before tube is $2,570 Install plus tune = up to your tuner. So anywhere upto $4,000 I'd say.
  11. Sensor, loom and ethanol % display (not essential but nice to have) is about $650 delivered from the states. Forget the Sards. Get ID 1000's. They will idle and drive so much better. I think my car had 7 different maps in total. They weren't full 'wipe it clean and start again for each' so the dyno time isn't like 7 FULL maps! It's very worthwhile doing. You get sick of dragging around Jerry cans everywhere. Put whatever you want it and drive off. You don't even notice the car 'doing its thing'.
  12. http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/ECA/ECA.shtml Sorts this issue!
  13. Drove on E85 without the sensor for 12 months. Didn't touch anything. Was a tad richer with the Caltex stuff (going off the wideband) but it never knocked.
  14. They're the best! Drive around and give no fark what's in the tank
  15. ^. Can't say I've had the same results. EVERY tune on my own car the E85 has made more grunt everywhere AND boost is higher earlier. Same car, tuner, dyno, turbos/setup/cam timing and in some cases same day! That's on more than one turbo setup too!
  16. That makes sense. Unigroup got rid of my ignitor and replaced it with some box that lives in my passenger footwell. They did that went I jumped across to the Link.
  17. But it's the E85 which allows you to dial in more timing. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? .
  18. N1 pump with a factory sump filled with 6.5 L of oil. I'm not sure if it will work as it should with a deeper sump.
  19. Springs got sent today, manifolds have been sent by SAL. They should be here in 2 weeks. No point paying extra postage for a heavy item got no reason. Pics up soon!
  20. Get decent mufflers!
  21. You have an option of walbros or 044's.
  22. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/205993-transmission-lubricants/ Click me. Stock sump GTR, just fill to the middle of the hump. From memory its about 6-6.5 litres. Have done in my GTR for the past 5 years.
  23. Oh fantastic. Do you have the bolts aswell?
