  1. Any other circumstances where the oil pressure guage has been useful? I really feel that the guage is a total waste of time, space and weight!
  2. What would cause low oil pressure, and btw im generally interested not taking the piss.
  3. Whats the point of a oil pressure guage? I mean if u lose oil pressure ur motor is toast anyway isnt it?
  4. Hey could i please change my name from 26GTS to 2630GTS thanks!
  5. PM sent CAZ I would like your details so i can purchase a set too Thanks
  6. What do you guys consider excessive camber? I am running 2.0neg at the front and 1.4 neg at the back. The tyres are wearing evenly, but then again i drive my car around corners
  7. As per topic i have one greddy oil catch can for sale. It is the 1ltr one, and comes in the box with clamps. I have lost the hose it came with so you will need to get that somewhere else which shouldnt be a problem. The stuff it came with wasnt that great anyway! PM me if interested for payment details. Pickup available northside brisbane price: $70 inc postage aus wide! Cheers Mick
  8. PRICE DROP NOW $210 INC POSTAGE AUS WIDE Mick
  9. That looks awesome for a nissan, punishes the old models! Nice one cruiseliner, any more pics?
  10. Gary, will you be using modified brake pads? How much are hawke pads, and how do they compare to bendix ultimates? Caz, i will order a set of brackets from you in the next few weeks. Thanks for the input! Thanks!!!
  11. Hehe good work, its quite easy to work with once u have a little practice. It really helps if you have a book to go by or someone to show you though. Just watch when ur sanding it, getting that stuff in the pores on ur skin aint fun, well as far as i can remember
  12. If you have basic fiberglass skills this is too easy i have done it twice. If not you could either learn as i did or take it to a smash repair place or body kit specialist. Since i love whoring pics of my car more than roy check my front bar out. http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...s/DSC003551.JPG
  13. Id rather call "time man" i have about as much need for him as jim berry. If you want to cut corners thats fine with me, however thats not always good enough for everyone. Perhaps you should ask sydneykid about his thoughts on lightweight flywheels, then get back to this thread. EDITED by Col
  14. Yeah i had one of those was going to give it a try but couldnt see its cheap construction and coarse adjustment being good enough for me. I gave it to a mate You dont want to show the actuator no pressure untill the momment it opens, this will cause the boost to spike. With an ebc u can adjust this exactly in .01 bar increments until you have a superior result to what yours mbc can deliver. Basically your 2bit bc is made of 5$ worth of materials it can only come close to the performance and adjustablity of a good ebc. Good luck on your budget route, but near enough is not good enough for me!
  15. Looks like that dude from the US was onto something when he said u had to rewire some pins to use a rb25 pfc on a rb20
  16. Greddy, can you get the ones from maltech that just replace the rubber section of the pipe? I dont want a braided line like in your first pic, i want one that just replaces the rubber section in the second pic. Thanks mate!
  17. Hey gary, put me down for a set of whatever you get. The ones from caz sound good, bring on the group buy
  18. With an ebc you can adjust when the wastegate starts to open, this brings boost on faster than a bleeder. If you set this to close to your desired boost level if will spike. You must find a good compromise which is the difference between a well setup ebc and one that isnt. The greddy profec b spec 2 can also limit boost spiking. eg i have it set to 1.18 bar as i dont want it to go over 1.17. This feature is really handy when setting it up. Maybe give one a try someday, you could always sell it if you dont like it. If you have a pfc i think it would be silly not to run their pfc ebc kit. Also i wasnt saying you were having boost delivery issues. Mick
  19. As i said i feel they are a little coarse, and cannot bring boost on earlier as a ebc can. I also said that some ebcs are a little dodgy, does this mean i have NFI what im talking about? I suspect that it people are having problems with ebcs that are known to do the job well then perhaps they need to look at uprgading from the stock actuator to bring their mechanical boost level closer to their desired higher ebc boost level.
  20. Dont know what experience you have had with ebc's but mine have been all good. I wound never use something as cheap and coarse and a bleeder i also like the ebc's ability to bring boost on a little faster! If the budget allows i would always grab a ebc, but yes there are some out there that are a little dodgy. I have used profec b, and profec b spec II, for my 26/30 i will use a pfc and the pfc bc kit. Well see how it goes. However i will be the first to admit it can take some time to set an ebc up perfectly!
  21. I was told by a cop to remove my ebc one day, i rang transport and they said it was fine. Called the cop back and left a message to call me, suprise suprise he never called me back. I am in qld, dont know about victoria though. I would never use a simple bleeder, grab a pfc and the boost control kit for that. You should be able to hide it pretty well!
  22. discopotato03: Which turbo do you suggest for a rb26/30 to make 500bhp with minimal lag. Cars purpose is curciut so i need something that will be perfect. However i do not have the cash to go for a new hks item, i will only be looking at something new from gcg i imagine. Engine will use some cams, but will be internally standard otherwise. I would like to go a custom piston to bump the cr upto 9:1 but since i dont shit cash the engine will be using rb30na pistions for roughly 8.3:1 cr? Car is a r32 gtst so fairly lightweight, thought id add that after reading your posting on cruiseliners stagea Cheers mate !
  23. You can put me down for a set of brackets to for 280 to 324, as long as they work. I take it u use the standard gtst 4 pot and just replace the rotor and mount the caliper with the bracket? If so im in! Thanks guys
  24. Had my ORC one for 2 years now, no problems at all. Will be sure to post up if it has any problems but since top secret use them on their cars i doubt it! rofl
  25. I remember the thread where u put yourself down for a set or two, i think it was in the group buy section but i just looked through 14 pages of threads and couldnt see it. However i might be blind I also would like some good quality adaptors so i can run a larger disc at the front! Someone needs to do a group buy with a respected business with brackets and new dba slotted rotors!
