  1. Yeah as Krishy said bud. Changing cams over needs to be at the bottom of your list. Plenty other things you should look at first. Bigger injectors, fuel pump, ECU upgrade, better fmic, exhaust, bigger cans (actuators) (or even bigger turbos) then take it to Willalls and get the thing tuned. Then you'll have to start thinking about oil catch cans, etc. Unless you've already got all the above, don't even worry about cams yet.
  2. Awesome bud...got any video to upload?
  3. As Steve said, don't under estimate the Nulon range...they do a 6 litre bottle as well. As far as E85 friendly oils go, it really depends on how tired your engine is. If you have a tight motor with negligent blow-by, it's not an issue....however, if you do get a lot of blow-by, no oil is safe against E85.....or against any other fuel for that matter.
  4. LOL Krishy! Yeah it'd def be a racial thing...nothing to do with the crusty body and band-aids holding it together
  5. Bud, I would take his lack of response as a sign that he's def not interested and maybe just move on. Thread Locked
  6. OK, I'll leave it here a little longer. Let me know once he has been in contact with you. Also, as said earlier, if this transaction was not SAU related, this thread needs to be deleted.
  7. Starting a thread about one of our regular SAU forum members is probably not the best way to go about things. You have the option to PM him or contact me or one of the other Mods if your dispute with this member is a result of an SAU transaction gone wrong. I have on this occasion been in contact with Vu who has informed me that he will be in touch with you tonight in order to resolve this dispute. Once he has done so, I'll remove this whole thread. Pete.
  8. I agree, nothing more spectacular than a redline side step of the clutch in an R. I don't reckon anyone on here has the balls to do it to their GTR though.....other than Martin maybe Happy to be proved wrong though
  9. thanks Jet, I may even take you up on your offer and happy to part with some cash or beer. Input shafts on the ZF are apparently a weakness too I think.....I reckon Nizpro are doing a replacement shaft atm...not sure how much they are though. May have to speak to the Willall boys to book in for a replacement input shaft.........what car or cars are you thinking of running Martin?
  10. If I could get my hands on a decent tailshaft at the right price I could be interested. Unfortunately, 1 hard launch and my tailshaft will look like a stick of licorice. Need a pair of MT's for the rear as well or I'll be laying rubber for 1/2 the track .....like this:
  11. Sounds good bud....goodluck with it I use the Martini Boy for my xr6t and the only other fella i'd consider for a ford would be Bruce Heinrich (so good choice) but I figured why go to the student when you have access to the teacher
  12. why would it blow up running only 13psi and AFR's in the 11's (could run leaner and still safe)?....other than a dump pipe, it still runs a stock exhaust too.......and on pump fuel (no E85 yet) No doubt power to weight ratio will always play a big role, but there are other determining factors that can't be overlooked for 1/4 mile stuff. One advantage is the ZF over the 5sp box......Martin Donnon tweaked my ZF last Sat before heading to Kadina with the tribe and with no additional HP, the thing is a different beast. Curious though, what have you had to do to get 310kw and who's your tuner?
  13. you haven't seen mine then
  14. when you say you want to blow away xr6t's, are you talking straight line or circle. xr6t will give you over 300 atw with just a tune and injectors....if you want to beat that in a straight line with an RB25, you may have to sink anything up to $10K into it. circle stuff is a different ball game....stock skyline will blow your mate's xr6t away.
  15. Depending where the crack is and how severe it is, there's every chance you can weld the head.......we used to do it all the time with great success.
  16. They are cheap plastic stickers.....I'm not referring to those. Mine are actual carbon strips with Volks Racing on them and were a Limited Edition
  17. I've got some brand new "Volks Racing" Limited Edition carbon strip stickers....2 for each wheel. Don't think you can even buy these separately. They are individually packaged in pairs and come with instructions, lol PM me if interested.

    E85 Fuel

Jet's F6 went from about 420rwkw on a DD to around 360 on a mainline
  19. I may have a set in the shed hiding amongst all my crap. would have to do the big search tomorrow if interested
  20. yeah, but I've seen worse than that bud
  21. yeah Mustangs are a dime a dozen but occasionally you come across a rare special one. It's hard to believe that some of these old gems are worth alot more than the 2013 Shelby above. errr....motor trimmer's glue Steve
  22. not wrong Steve....it'll be interesting to see how it gets its power to the ground being a 2 wheeler
  23. I will have one of these in a year or two.....shame it'll cost $40K to convert it to RHD. 662hp Mustang Shelby GT500 for under $100K Won't beat the R35 around the "Ring" but will blitz it in acceleration....apparently the 2013 model will out accelerate the Bugatti Veryon. Listen to the sound of the stock exhaust!! http://youtu.be/kqx0YzQEATI
