  3. Up for sale is my 1997 R33 Series 2 Skyline GTS-T, RB25DET, Auto, Alarm, Immobiliser, Alloy Wheels, Turbo Timer, MP3 CD Player. Genuine 136000KMS. All Stock other than the wheels, alarm & turbo timer. Has 7 months Rego. Privately imported by myself, so I am the first owner of the car in Australia. Has been looked after and mostly driven on the weekends as I have another daily car. Regretful sale, only selling as I need a smaller car for the mrs', so willing to swap/trade for a Civic / Corolla. Have had the car for 5 Years and never had any issues with it, serviced regularly and driven normally not trashed. Car has a dent on the side as pictured, but can easily and cheaply be fixed. $5500 or near offer, priced for a quick sale. No time wasters and joy raiders please. Located in Parramatta Area.
  4. Hi all, I decided to sell my R32 Skyline. I bought it in October last year (2012) with the idea of it being a project car. With having a 2 year old child plus another one on the way I'm finding it harder and harder to find time to do anything and i wanting to make a return to 2 wheels which i gave up to buy this. I reckon i've put 1500-2000 klms on it since I bought it. Since i've had it I've done the RWC which required a new windscreen, front rotors pads and tyres. I fitted a set of DBA slotted rotors with QFM brake pads which for a 20+ year old car, pulls up better than my wife's brand new SV6 Wagon on even my brother brand new FPV GS!!!! I have since fitted a set of 18 inch rims but still have the original R34 GT rims i bought it with. Have also fitted a HID head light kit which has made a massive improvement over the originals. It has a few performance mods but needs to be tuned for them all to work to full potential. Have recently discovered that it has a chipped ECU. This is pretty much the original advertisement on this webiste i've copied and pasted over with some of the original pictures. and some new ones since i've fitted the new rims xterior Looks wise its fairly standard, has the factory type m skirts, rear pods and I have recently sprayed and fitted a genuine Gtr front bar. Also have fitted a rear lip from viva garage which is fairly unique and in my opinion looks great. Currently rolling on r34 gt stock wheels all round with good rubber. The car sits approximately 1" lower than stock height on bilstein shocks, nice and stiff ride but not to stiff for daily driving (height is still very roadworthy). Interior The interior is nice and clean for an 89 model with no cracks or bubbles in the dash, only let down is a tiny rip on the drivers seat. Only interior mods are a boost gauge sneakily installed where the drivers air vent should be which I still have. Also the factory head unit has been replaced with an alpine head unit with an iphone/ipod cable neatly tucked away. Engine mods Most of the engine mods have been professionally fitted by the previous owner which include an r34 op6 turbo, nismo 555cc injectors, z32 afm, hks pod, blitz return flow intercooler, splitfire coilpacks, 3" turbo back exhaust currently with twin drift pipes at rear but I have 3" blitz rear muffler to make it quieter. The engine bay appears completely standard due to the return flow cooler and hks pod being mounted inside the shell of a standard airbox. Have had a hwy patrol officer look over and did not pick a single thing out. The car runs fine and appears healthy but is in need a tune as it runs very rich and has alot more power potential. estimating power figures at around 165rwkw at the moment. Have recently done a little service which included and oil and filter change using motal 4100 and installed new ngk copper spark plugs. An oil change has been completed every 5000km's by me since I have owned the car. bad points -rear guards have had the lips rolled for bigger wheels -slight weep of power steering fluid coming from hicas lines but doesn't drip has been like this since I have owned the car (will not be a roadworthy issue) -small scratch on rear bumper (hardly noticable) $8,500 ono Can be viewed in Healesville Call Trav on 0438-217-644
  5. 1996 R33 Skyline GTS25T Series 2, only done 147,000kms Black in color. Serviced regularly with hi grade oil. The car has never had any mechanical issues. Neat and clean apart from the front bar and bonnet (more details below). Whats Stock? Stock Turbo, running 12psi actuator, approximate power 180rwkw Stock ECU Stock SMIC (have FMIC to suit however pulled it off for RWC) Stock BOV Whats Not? Super big brakes on the front. 330mm Ksport 8 pot calipers with Bluestuff Pads Quiet Sleeper JDM catback exhaust. 17" Matt Black Rota Rims 9 inch wide with 255mm wide Advan Neova tyres (super grippy) These are $400 per corner for tyres alone. Immobilizer and alarm (central locking needs new actuators but wiring is there) Apexi style pod filter Turbo timer HICAS lock bar Unknown Clutch, but grabs brilliantly Tein Super Street Adjustable shocks and springs. Pioneer cd player Rear Strut Brace Front Strut Brace Have new tie rod ends to install Ok, now to the front bar and bonnet. I had an argument with a pole a while ago and wrecked the front bar and dented the very front of the bonnet. I replaced the front bar with a silver one. Check out the photos. The front bar will need a respray and either dint removed from the bonnet or a new bonnet. (Can supply a white bonnet to get resprayed if that's what you want to do). The respray should cost between $500 to $800 depending on how friendly you are with the s pray painters. I've been driving as it is for a year and a half, completely non structural. Nissan Skyline 1993 Gts-T RB25det Auto For Restoration/Repair or Parts This car has been owned by my family for the past 5+ years, it was a reliable well driven and well looked after car. prior to the front right corner collision the car was in perfect mechanically working order. Has had prior cosmetic damage to the rear drivers quarter panel. Has done over 200000kms, serviced every 5000km with Penrite Synthetic Oil Aftermarket Accessories Japan JIC Magic 3.5" Cat back Exhaust 3" Dump pipe 1.5x larger R34 Side mount Intercooler for better performance R32 10psi wastegate actuator so it can run and 10psi instead of psi Turbosmart Boot Tee for manual boost control - was not run over 10psi HKS pod filter New O2 sensor Stainless steel strut tower bar with brake booster bracket The above modifications made a massive difference to performance and cost about $700 to acquire the parts. Apart from a tune these are considered a stage 1 upgrade. Wheels/Suspension It also has Nissan 350 Track wheels 17x8 and 17x8.5 with 225 and 245 tires that are relatively new. One wheel however has a crack along the spoke, must have been from a pot hole.. A HICAS block off bar was also installed for better rear control. It has aftermarket japanese non-adjustable coils with King springs MOMO Steering wheel Electronic Electronic wise there is a Caliber Boost gauge and A/F ratio turbo timer. Spares I have a series 2 R33 turbo that has little to no shaft play i was keeping as a spare, these are about $200 alone Also a perfect condition Drivers rear tail light in burgundy. I also have a spare speed sensor And 6 coil packs

Hi to all of the SAU members and especially to my fellow Adelaidians I just purchased my first Skyline and picked it up tonight (what a night it is to get used to a RWD turbo - it has been along time since I had a RWD). Well as said I picked it up at 6pm tonight... and I love it. It is a 93 R33 GTS-T coupe in black in amazing condition. I got home and after about 30 minutes I promptly told the missus that I was going out again for a drive Well I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.   16. Want to sell my 1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T Series 2 with 111,1xx kms for $12,500 or nearest offer. Located in Glebe, NSW. Car was purchased at JapLink Motors, Haberfield in August 2005. I am the first Australian owner. Paid more for this car because of its rare blue colour, a factory fitted sunroof, and a very clean interior. Car is mostly stock. Only has a HKS air pod, 17 inch Vault wheels, and tinting. New Falken rear tyres last year, new front tyres this year. Will include the original 16 inch Nissan wheels with tyres. Full Service was done at Croydon Racing Developments in February. Following were fitted: Gates timing belt, bearings and crank gear, water pump, 3 drive belts, platinum spark plugs, oil and filter. Has AutoWatch car alarm with built-in turbo timer and keyless boot release. Will provide a folder with all receipts. Never raced, never taken to the track. Only driven to and from work 3 to 4 times a week. Rarely driven on days off. Now only driven once a week. Reasons for selling: After owning this car for 7 years, I now feel like a change. All paperwork provided. Some spare parts I am happy to throw in. Original drivers seat, Old turbo, coil packs, injectors etc etc. This car has been to the drags once and the track once. It has never been drifted. Car has been garaged or under a car port for its life. Reason for selling is that I now have a young daughter and it rarely gets driven. I am reluctant to sell, but I would rather it be owned by someone who has the time (and money) to invest in this car (and hopefully not drift it...) This car is in very good condition. So here's one I havn't seen before, Multiple gauge failure on the standard R33 GTST S1 dash cluster, No boost gauge (Has aftermarket fitted and plumbing is still attached to standard as well as aftermarket) No oil pressure gauge (again has aftermarket fitted but Havn't checked connection's to standard) No fuel reading (Has Hi flow fuel pump fitted) Any opinions on whether it could be? Possibly one single cause or just a case of 3 seperate causes? I have checked to make shure all plugs are plugged into the dash and all ok. Obviously considering I have the after market gauges working the fuel gauge is currently my biggest priority, but dont want to pull the fuel sender out if it could possibly be a much simpler issue. Also not car is not running the factory ECU, It's running purley on a Haltech waying up wether this too could be a cause of the problem. Otherwise no other auto electrical issues. Any help would be appreciated.

  21. I just bought a 1998 2.5 GTS-T Type M 40th anniversary. Does anyone know what kind of oil i need to use in it and a part number for the oil filter?
  22. Bought my '96 GTS-T around April 2013 with the intention of separating my track and daily cars. It was near standard when I bought it so it didn't take too much work to get it up to a RWC condition. It did come with underbody neons and a crap stereo which was quickly ripped out, and a cat back exhaust and no-name pod filter. This was taken on the day I got the RWC: First time out on track was at very wet Haunted Hills hill climb in May 2013. Being completely stock, the car rolled around a lot. I was also thrown around from side to side in the stock seat which was a real pain. Final lap time was 70.64s on a wet track. Took it to the RTR dyno and it came out at 136.2rwkw Took it to Winton in June 2013 and achieved a pretty mediocre 1.48.70. Car was still stock at this stage and run on street tyres. More Haunted Hills in its stock form in October 2013 At this stage, I was just trying to learn how the car drove. Unfortunately I started to get some massive exhaust manifold leaks, boost leaks, the 17 year old radiator cracked, and stock turbo was dying. Decided that since a fair amount of its guts would be out, I'd do some basic modifications to the engine. I wanted this car to be as reliable as possible as I don't have a tow car and would have to drive it to and from all the tracks. I've also gone in with a "do it once, do it right" mentality as I've had too many issues in the past with going half assed and having things break. Chucked in a big Mishimoto radiator, 3" dump pipe, high flow cat, fuel pump, 480cc injectors, Blitz return flow intercooler, Power FC, and a small Kinugawa turbo. Got a healthy 244.9rwkw at 17psi Chucked in a proper seat just before my next track day Track day at Winton in November 2013 and ran it at 11psi (~200rwkw). Still standard suspension (check out the body roll below), street tyres, and brakes. Found that when hot, car was misfiring like crazy and realised that my coil packs had given way. Day ended with a 1:45.03 Replaced the coil packs with Yellow Jackets which unfortunately continued misfiring (but much less than the broken ones), so I ended up getting a set of OEMs which has been great ever since. Mid 2014 I chucked in a set of BC Racing ER series coilovers in 12/10 kg f/r. Found a cheap second hand Kaaz 1.5 way diff which went in as the stock viscous was as good as an open diff. Also put in a dog bone to fit GTR rotors. Did a bunch more events like DECA, HH, Winton, and PI to build up more track time in the car. Times were slowly improving with experience. Had a weld in half cage installed for the harness bar and some ROPS PI day with a 2:02 on wet track with street tyres: In 2015 I went to E85 with a small bump in power to 257rwkw and more torque still at 17psi. Again, reliability was key here and I think E85 is best for boosted engines living their lives at the top of their rev range. Chucked on a circa 2010 set of 235/45/17 RE55S semis in SR2 compound for my first foray into semis. Times started to come down to 1:37.89 before my brakes blew up. Had a theoretical in the 1:36 range, but that's for next time. Rotor failed coming into turn 1 on my first hot lap. Lucky nobody was in front of me so I was able to just roll off the track and drive back to the pits.
