1. Andrew, sounds like you'll have to replace the key at the very minimum also but if the new key moves from side to side in the slot even slightly, you can kiss your crank goodbye. Can be taken out and welded though, but probably wouldn't bother and just find a second hand one. Get that balancer off 1st before you go burning it, lol.
2. and on top of having to live with that hanging over his head for the rest of his life, the 17 year old has just been charged with 3 separate counts of killing his mates by dangerous driving.....very sad!!
3. Kahli, unfortunately that statement is a lie fed to us by the Unions way back before Bob Hawke was PM and President of the ACTU.......and all the little people of this country have run with that statement ever since.......biggest and most successful bit of propaganda that the Labour Party have spun on the public since that time! yeah it was good to see the amount of special bikes attend too.
4. Make that another 3 teenagers Steve........and their driver, who appears to be at fault, got through it with barely a scratch. Me thinks the parents of the 3 dead teenagers will be vowing for his blood! To the young peeps out there, do you really want the blood of a mate on your hands......would be a hard thing to live with for the rest of your life?
5. Hey Matty This will give you a bit of a heads up on my truck. Mine has aftermarket suspension which is a must I reckon and keep in mind that the Poms love their Range Rovers. "] &">"] &" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" />
6. Was a great turn out today. Chanel's 9 & 10 didn't show very much but I reckon Chanel 7 had a greater presence there, so will check out their news in a few minutes.
7. Direct quote from the news clipping published less than an hour ago:
8. in that case she's done nothing wrong by not reporting it to police, unless as I mentioned, she tried to do a runner
9. prolly right there.....soz Cronic & others in that region
10. Dam, just missed it! Can someone tell me where Salisbury is?? North or south? LOL, waiting for some flamage from Deano & others now.
11. I've got one for the Stag Chad
12. Dan was her damage fairly minor? The minor bingle law ($1000) is an estimate and it's relatively flexible, ie. you can't expect a novice female to know how much it costs to repair a vehicle but what Chad pointed out is correct. Insurance company policies may vary and have different demands between one another in relation to police reports though, so everyone should review that part of their policies. Budget Direct allow 7 years of a documented collision before you can no longer make a claim against another person......but that's an insurance report, not a police report. .........and SteveP, when I don't see itallics or a tongue in cheek emoticon, I kinda figure you're 1/2 serious......especially given your history on here re contribution (or the lack thereof).
13. you're an idiot...real men like Dan don't hit girls
14. Cronic, I think the cop needs to review his rule book to be honest. It's not an offence to reverse into someone, that's why it's called an accident and secondly, if nobody was hurt and both cars were driven from the scene with no other public or private property damage, then she doesn't have to report a minor bingle to the police. The cop was possibly just trying to appease you. EDIT: Different story if she tried to do a runner
15. yeah buddy....& now a dent in the right rear corner as well thanks to the missus, lol
16. cause some cock on here may know them?!
17. Huh?! How does that work Cronic?
18. Hey Michael, welcome aboard. Just a quick note, please post in the standard size font (2) cause it'd be a real pain if everyone posted like that. Happy posting.
19. the old splitties are very hard to find now. I drove an old 1200cc 40hp red PMG Kombi for many years which was a company car back in the Adelaide Engine days (was the model after the split window though), and hated the dam thing. Now I wish I bought the thing off the boss for $300!!
20. haha, just shit stirring bud.....we've all got a bit of bogan in us somewhere
21. LOL, hasn't Craig & Ryan got similar tatts.............flamin Bogans
22. This is a little out of left field, but occasionally SA peeps need a pat on the back so feel free to all pat yourselves on the back. I've just spent 2 hours of work time reading through some of the crap from other states in the "Mod's area" and I can't help feeling sorry for the Mods & Admins that have to police those sections. "SA General" clearly has the best members in the country in comparrison, as I've only ever had major issues with a couple of members....I know the other Mods would agree with me. Well done everyone
23. oh well Matty, looks like you may have to jump ship. The new 200's have gone from 4.2L 6cyl Turbodiesel to 4.5L V8 Twin Turbodiesel.....approx 700 Nm of torque with the modified pipes and over 200kw.....not bad for a doozel Also maintaining the live rear axle.
24. what were the main differences Matty?
25. Many moons ago I received a visit from the local constabulary over a single report for a road rage incident.....never touched the douche but his hair literally turned white before my eyes. I denied all accusations till the cows came home which made it my word against his but the mongrel had it coming......cops will always try and seek an admission of liability though. So I suppose it boils down to resources at the time and the nature of the alleged offence as to whether you get a visit, phone call or otherwise.
