  2. Worthwhile resurrection it appears...
  3. ...but not alongside Terry
  4. For those who've missed out, God_speed has a brand new set of 20" GTCs ...20x10.5 Gold face with polished lip. ...with the face that'll fit over big brakes.
  5. My 'R33 GT-R' Silver With Tag livery Doesn't miss a beat $1,290 with 3 month warranty from 2nd hand dealership that does NOT wind back the clock Insured through Shannon's contents insurance
  6. Great day yesterday at our SAU WTAC Stall * quite a few members dropped by for a chat * we dropped in to see Nick's R33 in garage 8/9 * we got several enquiries over 2 days about SAU * some Membership forms were handed out * onlookers were comparing Matt's big brakes compared to my l'il ones * onlookers took the time to read about the SAU cars on display * we were forced to endure (adjacent to our stall) the judging of Miss World Time Attack. We were surrounded by these pretty things! The guys were hanging off the 2 balconies. And the Men's Rooms were all full straight afterwards - I don't know what was going on in there.
  7. As Brett above has said > Iron Chef It's an asset to have his confederates in Japan inspect the car physically before you hand over $$
  8. Yup. PM'd you Scott.
  9. Latest news here from Bobby's mouth here at WTAC is that Adam and Bobby are staying.
  10. Many thanks - Ta > conveyed to Colin too I'm sure
  11. The goodwill of a doctor's surgery being sold off is worth virtually nothing because of the business being dependent on the principal and the staff. However, the goodwill of a coffee lounge or a chemist can be worth money based on tax returns + past trade/turnover + long lease + condition of existing equipment. Go figure which category JEM falls into! I personally haven't a clue what JEM is worth; but for you to make your assumptions is quite demeaning.
  12. I'd look at tax returns + past bookings + standard of operating equipment + whether or not the tuner stays before making an evaluation of how expensive it might be.
  13. All the best to all the staff at JEM and may the sale go smoothly. $420,000 + S.A.V. Many many thanks for organising with SAU.NSW a most memorable Tech Night this year!
  14. Colin, stay in touch with Matt or me as you arrive because Matt has a ticket for you. Nick - levinboy - is trying to get a Pit Pass if poss > to take pics Ciaron took some pics today, so can you conjoin your pics with him Colin > FB Great to see some guys today from SAU
  15. Many thanks for asking Genelle. Springwood fire started 1Km away - but fortunately for us, to the E - in a N-W wind. Biggest threat is from Lithgow or Mt Victoria fires. RFS sent out SMSs which is very good. RFS announced that they have to abandon hazard burnoffs now - pretty evident. Many thanks too for concerned calls and PMs so far, from GoldZilla, TREGTR, God_speed, iwanta34gtr, Wongy, Owens, xntrq, Sinista32, fatz, PN-Mad, Aggroman, Pezhead, 34GeeTeeTee, Carmen, IronChef, Humbla
  16. Sure, at WTAC Eastern Ck tomorrow and Saturday
  17. I haven't been along that stretch since '76 & nearly fell asleep and run off the Hwy at Kingoonya. What's wildlife road kill like these days, what with emus, camels, wombats and roos? Worse at sunrise and dusk?
  18. Have a WOW of a time today Alex. Best wishes from Execs!
  19. Can anyone remember what a "Derestriction" sign looks like? I'm old enough. I wonder if the signs will get souvenired??? I think the experiment is worth a try on the conditions that... * road surface is kept in good order * shoulders are firm * road markings are clear * alternative restrictive speed signs be erected should the roads be wet * an appropriate distance be kept between vehicles especially with presence of road trains * P-platers be permitted to drive at 110 so as to not impact too much on traffic flow Hmmm, I'm sure I've left out a couple of things; because we're not talking about autobahn conditions here...
  20. Good post Adam. The cushioning rubber in the BNR34 seats is of greater density and support I feel too.
  21. Alex has to learn how to bow with his helmet on and stand a further 5cm away doing it! ...even from his mirror
  22. Sigh...
  23. There's never a complaint when the survival rate is zero. jk - couldnt resist sorry
  24. Let's swap bodies
