E36 M3 final series with 6sp and double Vanos was a much better car as I'd tried both for fun drives. 200cc extra. E46 SMG has had faults. I'd have chosen manual anyway.

I had to replace an alternator last Wed with a brand new one. JLM unfortunately didn't have a a spare one for my 3l VQ30 Maxima. This new alternator lasted just 350Km before it carked it too. Battery wouldn't charge this morning. Warranty replacement is happening as we speak.

It's up for discussion at the Exec Meeting. If there's too little interest, we won't hold it. If there are suggestions on how to make this run smoothly without fuss, we'd like to hear it
